2024 Lexus RX 350 review
Just picked up 2024 RX350 Premium+. Overall a nice car. I’m not a big fan of the 4 cyl. Powertrain however. Rather noisy and fuel economy is about the same as the 6 cyl. In my old 2019 RX with premium fuel required. Not a great trade off. New technology is pretty good and touch screen is much. Etter than the old RX touch pad. I think this is a better value than BMW X5 or Genesis GV80 with much better resale value.

2018 Tesla Model X review
Apart from no knowing what servicing has been done on the car before I bought it from TESLA! It's been okay two drives to UK from Norway the car has 150.000 Kms. They hadn't checked recalls, but fixed the front driveshafts & Suspension arms (recall). Nice bunch at Tesla Trondheim. Overall very happy with them, not so much with Tesla Skøyen in Oslo who were terrible.

2022 Lincoln Corsair review
Going on 23months with the Corsair. First the bad. Have had the backup camera replaced twice(common issue from what I hear). Slightly overpriced when you add options. Sunglass holder broke(button snapped off) so won’t stay closed. I’m expecting it to be fixed free next oil change. Also. This SUV needs TLC to look its best and to maintain interior. I’m a detail car nut. So I keep everything like new as best I can. However? The interior of this vehicle, because of all the piano black gloss, MUST be cleaned and I would suggest, ceramic protected, to look it’s best. That includes the outside. I ceramic myself and is easy to do with many choice products online. If you have little kids or teenagers though? The interior is gonna get trashed, scuffed or something broken. When kept clean and shiny, inside and out, this little SUV is stunning to look at and sit in. The stock stereo is not the best however. Not bad, but not great. If you really love your music. Pay for the upgrade. The difference is huge. Luckily I test drove both before realizing I wanted the better stereo. But? If you just like your music at normal levels and don’t want a thumping subwoofer. The base system is fine. The good. Pure American style, old school, luxury/comfort. Unique and Art-Deco inspired interior. Very quiet vehicle at all speeds and more then enough power for fast driving when needed. This vehicle may be the smallest Lincoln, but it has gusto. Gas mileage is perfectly exceptable for the class and I average about 29-30mpg on highway, which is where I do most of my driving. I like understated luxury. All the German interior bling is way to much for my taste and Lincoln fits my lifestyle/personality better. No mechanical issues as of yet and the engine and transmission seem to get good reviews for longevity. I generally keep my vehicles for 100,000 to 150,000 miles or 8-9 years. I did purchase through Lincoln the extended Warranty, which covers most issues up to 100.000 miles. My Volvo, Lexus, never had any major issues. My Volvo XC 60 gave me 175k miles without major problems. Sold it for 3k and my 2016 Lexus NX has 125k and still runs like new with just brakes, tires, oil and spark plug changes. Am I excpecting that kind of reliability with a Ford product? We shall see. All in all? My first American car in decades and as of now very happy with choice., 4-5 years of ownership is going to be the telling point however, so hoping for NO headaches.

2023 Buick Encore GX review
I know that here in Northern California, Buick isn't a very popular brand, but that means I was able to get a stunningly good deal on my new '23. I traded up from a low mileage '18 Buick Encore (not GX), and at the time of the transaction, it had a remarkable trade value. My dealer did a outstanding job on pre-sale prep and delivery. My sales rep answered my every question. I enjoyed the prior vehicle, and feel this new one will give me the same kind of driving experience. My added safety feature is the front accident/pedestrian avoidance and lane keep assist. I haven't had to use either yet, but feel good about having them aboard. This Buick strikes me as a hidden gem, full featured but still available at a price point that blows the other comparable Asian built imports out of the water.

2025 Mitsubishi Outlander review
I purchased 2 new Mitsubishi Outlanders after doing Internet research on currently available mid-sized SUVs. A test drive nailed the choice. The 2025 model introduced several changes that have addressed prior criticisms about vague steering and hood vibrations and ride. The fit and finish of both exterior and interior is excellent, typical of a Japanese car and as good or better than the Toyota RAV4 or Nissan Rogue that were being considered (the Outlander and the Rogue share the same platform, but IMHO the Outlander is the better rendition). The interior of the SE trim is very plush at this price point with leatherette and suede seating that is supportive and "hugs" you and looks and feels better than more expensive luxury SUVs in this size class such as the Lincoln Corsair and Aviator. The standard Yamaha audio system produces astonishingly good sound with either Bluetooth audio or Sirius XM. The Outlander supports Android Auto, and its navigation is excellent. Steering feel is excellent and well-weighted, and braking is strong. The Outlander has a surprisingly small turning circle. The electronics assists and displays work flawlessly, especially the adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping and both front and rear parking assistance via the good-sized infotainment display screen, which also provides an overhead overall view (AI?). While the Outlander does have standard third-row seating, the seats and leg room are miniscule (suitable only for very small children or pets) and hard to access, but I plan to never use them for seating and keep them folded down to maximize cargo carrying space, which is even more generous with the second-row seatbacks folded down. Exterior styling is very bold and contemporary and distinctive, especially the front styling and the wheels; it has grown on me. The 2025 Outlander thankfully does not have that horrible stop-start feature where the engine shuts off if stopped at a traffic light, and in hot and humid Florida, the AC is not interrupted like on other new cars. The transmission shift lever is not intuitive to use, but eventually you get used to it (IMHO a simple rotary knob would be easier to use). The Outlander has a very generous power train warranty and comes with the initial three oil change services included. The horsepower is modest but more than adequate for city and suburban driving, and the CVT seems well mated to the engine and drives very smoothly. 2017 Ford Escape review

2025 Honda CR-V review
The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.

2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio review
Best car I've ever owned! I've driven multiple luxury vehicles, and nothing handles better than my Stelvio. It's zippy, yet smooth. The A/C is the best I've ever experienced in a vehicle, the CarPlay is never finicky, and it is always such a relaxing drive (even in Houston traffic). I test drove a couple before I purchased, and I've never seen a model that was so consistent across all of their vehicles. I have had no major issues with this car, and it is severely underrated!

Bought the ‘19 in ‘18 off the lot at 90K- have never held onto a vehicle this long. I can not upgrade this model- better then the ‘23 thanks to world issues that affect vehicle manufacturing. 2024 BMW X3 review
Only have been driving the car for a week, but it is clearly the best SUV I have experienced. My wife drives the Mercedes 300 - a fine car as well, but I have always preferred BMY engine performance and handling. The X3 is simply a pleasure to drive.

2023 Subaru Ascent review
I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.
