Used 2023 Toyota Highlander for sale near Old Bridge, NJ

I'd like to preface this review with, we are from out of state and depended on reviews while shopping for our vehicle and we were prepared to walk away at anytime. Our experience with Deluxe Auto Dealer was 5 star, beginning with first contact the after our purchase. Carlos was genuine, transparent and professional, we never felt rushed or pressured. Deluxe matched the interest rate, we were prequalified for by our credit union at home. It has a lot of road noise and the low profile tires makes feel like you're running on flats you feel everything I'm not happy at all it's nothing like my 2015 highlander no compassion at all!

I waited months, purposely, before writing this review. When I initially bought the car, I was scared because the reviews made it seem as if I made the worst mistake of my life. 6 months, 7000 miles later, the car running great. In the beginning, there was the weird shifting and lag but as time went on, around 5000 miles it had mostly smoothed out. After I took it for the TSB/Recall for a software update, it has been running perfectly since, no lag or strange shifting at all. I haven’t had any trouble otherwise. It’s roomy and comfortable for long trips. The third row is really for short trips(no more than 1hr 1/2) and for people 5’8 and under. The MPG excels on the highway especially on ECO mode with cruise control. I’ve gotten it as high as 33/34 mpg at 70mph on relatively flat land. In the city, it does terrible. I average around 17-19 even with slowly accelerations. My DTE is 290-310miles, 95% City driving. I’m sure those who use it on the highway will reach much higher. Despite the new 4 Cylinder Turbo, it has quite a bit of power and was able to take off very fast with a car loaded with adults (even in the third row). As of right now, the engine has been nothing but reliable. If anything changes, I’ll surely come back and edit this review. But for now, this 23 Highlander Limited Non-Hybrid, is a fantastic mid-size SUV and I recommend it now with the software update taking care of the shifting problem.

Everything went well and there was no issue , when I got back by the time given, my car was already ready.

We own a 2.4 Turbo XSE, has plenty of power to get you in and out of traffic. Just took a 10 hour road trip from NC through the mountains of VA & WV, performed like a champ up steep inclines and ride was very comfortable. We really like the captain chairs, easy to get passengers (inlaws) in and out. Had plenty of room for a wheelchair with 3rd row folded down. Really like the sporty look of Highlander. The 20" black rims compliment the look for me. I wish Toyota would've designed with dual exhaust to better enhance the design.

My windshield was replaced quickly and done very well. My concern is that since their ownership change, this dealership has become somewhat aggressive with their pricing. I got competitive quotes from two other dealerships. This dealership was 8% higher. I used them because my confidence in my service writer, and the level of service that he has always provided. It should be noted that I had another windshield replaced at this dealership a few years ago, under the original ownership and the cost was more than 30% less. I like the service here, but as I have said I am a little concerned about their pricing.

Have had 2 Toyota Rav Limiteds and they were great. Decided to go with something a little bigger this time so got a preowned 2023 Highlander Limited. Love the ride, quieter than the Rav 4 and definitely more room. It’s only 3 inches wider, but 10 inches longer. Seems like the front area is quite a bit bigger than the Rav. Great purchase!

I'm thrilled with my 2023 Toyota Highlander! It's the perfect SUV for me and my family. It has a comfortable and high-quality interior that makes every ride a pleasure. It also has great performance and handles well on any road. It's a high-value and reasonably priced vehicle that offers a lot of features and benefits.
