I never felt pressured or rushed, and he made what can normally be a stressful experience feel simple and enjoyable. I also want to thank Sales Manager Peter Duarte for working with me to put together a deal I was happy with. I really appreciated his professionalism and willingness to work with me throughout the process. Once we got to the finance side, Collin Flores was also incredibly helpful. He took the time to walk me through everything, answer my questions, and made the final part of the purchase process smooth and easy. I bought my new Grand Highlander HB, and I had a very good experience with the salesperson, Saiyan, and his manager. We even shook hands, which is a plus because car dealership managers are usually “hiding.” 😄 When it came to dealing with the person in finance, the experience was okay, mainly because he was very persistent about selling me additional services, which I had to decline many times. After many attempts to sell me something, I ended up buying the ToyotaCare+ service. The price went from around $2,000 down to $1,000, with an additional $55 in tax. You’ve got to be kidding me! Kkkkk.

I’ve spent the better part of my adult life dreading the typical dealership "song and dance," but my visit to Manhattan Beach Toyota completely shattered every preconceived notion I had about the car-buying process. As someone in sales who has navigated plenty of high-pressure sales-floors over the years, I can honestly say I've never encountered a team—or an individual—quite like Lawrence. My fiancé and I are currently in the market for a larger vehicle that balances utility with a premium feel, and I’ve been torn between the capability of the new Land Cruiser and the sheer space of the Sequoia. While other dealerships I visited previously seemed content to just read me the window sticker, Lawrence operated on an entirely different level, providing a wealth of technical knowledge and comparative insight that was nothing short of a darn encyclopedia. What truly stood out was how Lawrence went above and beyond the call of duty; he didn't just show me the cars, but instead took the time to meticulously dissect the differences in drivetrain, interior and configurations, ensuring I understood exactly how each model would serve my needs as I transition into this next chapter of my life. It's rare to find a Fleet Manager who is willing to invest that much time and energy into a client without the immediate pressure of a "deal today," yet his patience and genuine desire to educate me made it clear that he values the relationship over everything. Even though I didn't drive home in a new SUV that same day, there is no doubt in my mind where I'll be heading when I’m ready to sign on the dotted line.
