This is my second Honda Odyssey Elite having traded in my 2019 for a 2023. Why did I make the trade? I hadn't had any problems with my 2019, but the trade in value of my 2019 made the purchase of a 2023 a "no brainer". I had considered purchasing a Toyota Sienna Platinum because of the fuel economy. But the price of the Toyota was so much higher than the Honda, especially when you consider that the Rear Seat Entertainment System costs extra on the Toyota and dealers are adding premiums above MSRP. I calculated I would have to drive the a Toyota around 80,000 miles before I would actually begin saving money on gasoline.

Almost two years ago I needed help getting a car, problem was I had a limited credit history. Ryan (Salesperson) was really helpful in working some magic to make it happen. This is my first minivan but I have to say there are a good deal of pros and cons I can find. There isn?t Bluetooth or any usb/aux ports. Which is a con. The second row isn?t stow and go, the seats do release to come out. Con. There?s a DVD player, pro. Plenty of leg room in the front and back, third row is a little cramped for adults. There?s a tray table that folds up/down between the front seats, has 4 cup holders plus the two cup holders for the front seats that fold out. The engine has great pick up. Plenty of power for me, I?m used to driving a Ford Edge(2015). The only thing that would make this Van better to me would be Bluetooth, and a back up camera. It does have back up sensors but no camera. I like that this car came with rims and not hudcaps. The driver seat has multi position memory. And this one has heated front seats which is nice. I know we bought the car used and it?s an 08? but some of the electronics have decided not to work, we?re going to look into having some of it fixed if it?s not too expansive.

Khader was very helpful. I came in looking for a car with a huge balance from my previous car and he helped me get into a newer car and helped me achieve the payment I was looking for. The sliding doors stop locking and are very expensive to fix; otherwise, our Town and Country Touring van has provided a safecand very comfortable ride.

The van is very practical and has been awesome for road trips. We can easily fit two car seats and 6 adults with plenty of leg room. It is very practical especially with the lower ride height that allows my parents to get in and out with ease and also the sliding doors that makes putting the kids in their car seats easy. MPG is excellent. We averaged between 35-37 mpg with the van loaded with 6 adults, 2 kids in car seats, and all of our luggage. We were set on getting an SUV before we came across the Sienna. The Sienna just made more sense for our family. It can comfortably seat 8 people, makes getting in and out easier with the sliding doors and low ride height, excellent MPG, reliable, great resale resale value. It does not require premium fuel. With the gas prices around $3.25-$3.50, fill ups are around $40. We plan to keep the van around for a long time!

I had a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (that I absolutely loved), but the lease was ending. Since that purchase, I have had two grandchildren, and though I could take them with me in the Ioniq, it was a tight squeeze (again, it was a GREAT car). I decided I needed something with more seating, which meant a three row SUV or a minivan. I was used to an all electric vehicle and wanted to get something that was at least hybrid. I honestly thought my days of a minivan were way behind me when my children got older so I was kind of dreading that option. The truth is I couldn't be happier. The mileage has been fantastic - I've been averaging about 50 mpg. Because the van is a plug-in hybrid, I drive a lot of local miles on all electric which helps immensely with the mileage. There is plenty of room for my kids (and their kids). Lots of places to plug in all of their devices. My wife's aunt told me that the back seats were incredibly comfortable as well. The only thing I wish it had were a few more amenities - but that is entirely my fault. I bought it used and picked up the first decently priced one I found. I should have waited a bit for one that was a bit more loaded, but again, that's on my, not the vehicle. The ride is incredibly smooth and the power is just fine for a minivan - obviously not what I was used to with the EV, but then I don't expect that. I'm enjoying driving in comfort and getting in and out is much more comfortable on my old back!
