Just bought a pre-owned 2014 VW Golf and I couldn’t be happier! This thing is FUN to drive - I never understood when people said a car “hugged the road” or felt “sporty” - well now I do! This little thing feels solid, has excellent acceleration, and ia getting great gas mileage. So glad I ditched my expensive SUV. My “downgrade” feels like an “upgrade.”

The car is a great balance between performance, economy, comfort, and versatility. It manages to do all of those things well, if not great. It won't win any races but it's fun to drive.

I've been a volkswagen fan for years even though they are a little more expensive to own. I've always had a thing for diesel vehicles and the TDI is a favorite of mine. This is a 2014 year and I hope to get many years of use out of it.

My third VW Golf - this one has been the best - love it for it's versatility, low cost of ownership, reliability (only things I've had to replace is tires and battery in 112,000 miles) and joy of driving - not the fastest off the line but cornering, braking and high-speed driving / passing - wow!

I had the some problem with Labadie Buick Cadillac in Bay City - made all arrangements and drive 36 miles got there and a couple grabbed it out ..after all the promises from sales the night before that they would be waiting for me. bad bad bad policy

This Golf replaced a 2009 Rabbit that was totaled in an accident. The 2013 Golf was the same car with a different name, and different amenities. It's safe, economical and easy to drive. It never went into the shop for anything other than regular maintenance. I'd still own this car, but it was tragically murdered by a wayward driver not paying attention.

This car has been great to me. After having a golf, I do not see myself getting any other type of car. The gas mileage, the surprising amount of room it has, and ride it delivers is by far the best.

Responsiveness to questions and concerns was unusually good. Whatever I expected to be done was done better than I expected. They brought the car to my door from Atlanta to northern South Carolina using a dedicated driver and another in a follow car. Both drivers were a very pleasant surprise. The person who drove my new car was a well dressed, well spoken, mature woman. The follow car driver was an older man equally competent and very pleasant to work with on the delivery and final paperwork. Similarly, the crew in the showtoom who I never got to meet, followed up quickly and attentively in every challenge. Great experience.

Not here at Silver Eagle. Looked at a couple and Aldo (our salesman) was straight honest about what still needed to be done or what they thought they needed to do/look at. Didn't want to send us home with a car that we would call them about a motor or transmission problem. Not how they do business. They helped us figure different ways we could finance. I just turned 40k on my base model. Beside the normal oil changes, I recently replaced the Continental tires with the same tires ! I have owned many cars in my life, but never enjoyed any of them as much as this little hot hatch !

Good car. 'Solid' is the word I'd use to describe it. I've had many cars over the years and some feel like they're made of tin, things wobble, things rattle. Everything on this car feels solid, sturdy and built to last. It's quality.

I am a senior in college and needed to get a less expensive, reliable car. I went with this car because the market is flooded at the moment and I can get a nice car for a decent price. I love the gas mileage it makes going home to visit family a lot easier and the gas mileage totally negates the higher price of diesel. Its an amazingly fun car to drive and I love the heated seats and touch screen radio.
