Most of the service advisors I've encountered are excellent & always willing to help but Fatimah is definitely a true gem there! She stays on top of everything from the time I call to make an appointment to the time I drive off after getting work done. I prefer drop-off appointments and she keeps me updated on everything! I never have to call for an update or wonder about the progress of my car and I always get my car back within a couple of days. I get frustrated a lot with my car because it is older and always seems to need one thing or another but I am never frustrated with the quality or speed of service I receive from Checkered Flag VW. Fatimah definitely goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service and customer satisfaction which is rare nowadays! Thank you Fatimah & Checkered Flag VW.

I recently purchased a Subaru Forester a commuter car. The car was exceptionally clean and the lowest mileage unit within 20m miles. The purchase was seamless from the test ride to the closing. I did however have an issue with the AC, which was covered immediately. My wife also purchased her 3rd vehicle for them, a 2021 Toyota Rav4. She traded a RC350 getting above book because of mileage and condition. I wouldn't buy a used vehicle from anyone other than Sullivan Auto Trading in the Mid Atlantic area.

After being totally uninspired with my ‘go to’ Japanese brands, I decided to test drive a VW Tiguan. I test drove one at another dealer but they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. I was searching online and spotted a Tiguan with the exact features/color I was looking for. It was marked down a significant amount as well. I emailed the dealer and received a phone call from Jonathan Scoggins who confirmed all the features over the phone. He also confirmed that the mark down was not a gimmick as it sometimes is. I came in and Jonathan and I talked for a while and went on a nice test drive. He is very knowledgeable about cars and the VW brand. He put my mind at ease (I’ve never had an VW) and the test drive was heavenly. I wasn’t quite ready to make a decision and wasn’t pressured to do so. A few days later I came in and made the trade. My husband and I saw the car we had spent weeks looking for in their online inventory, but we were over 10 hours away by car. They were courteous enough to hold it for us until we got there the next morning, and they gave us a fair deal for both our trade-in and our purchase without a bunch of haggling or pressure. After having communicated with lots of dealerships in the prior weeks, the staff at Safford Brown distinguished themselves from our first conversation. Hector and Eric were both courteous and professional without being stiff. We got the car we wanted with minimal fuss, and that's a big deal, considering how exhausting our search had been.
