Love the tech in this car. Maps, adaptive cruise, auto high beam, lane warning, hybrid averaging 31 mpg. Still good power with the turbo. Excellent sound including the Bluetooth.

2021 Volvo XC40 review
Attractive styling both exterior and interior (for me). Bought a 2021 T-5 R design with Polestar enhanced performance package. It has been trouble free so far and handles and performs very well for a compact SUV. routine service dept. with Volvo has been excellent. Seats are comfortable and the interior space is surprisingly roomy. It took a little bit to get use to the tech, but I was coming from a Tundra, so it was to be expected. The only thing that is subpar is the Navigation system, but I understand that they have now contracted with google maps to provide this service. AWD makes me not worry about the weather. Terrific all around car!

2023 Volvo XC40 review
This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

2021 Volvo XC40 review
My partner wanted me to get a vehicle that availed itself of all the current self-driving and safety technologies currently on offer, and after much research, this is car I landed own. And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.

From the moment you drive up to the automatic doors, and pull your car into the service drop off area, you are greeted by a friendly professional staff. Your car is treated as respectfully as you are… paper to protect the seats, steering wheel, and the floor. The service staff is knowledgeable and well informed. If they don’t have the answers, they will research and let you know. My service advisor, Laura, is amazing! We troubleshooted together, amd came up with a reasonable first step in determining what might be causing the issue I encountered. My car was returned in clean condition, and was washed too! I LOVE my 2016 V-60, and despite some big ticket issues with my particular year and model, Portland Volvo has worked tirelessly to help me navigate what my next steps might look like. We rolled into Berlin City Nissan of Portland one half hour before they typically closed and Eric greeted us with a smile. We were not rushed, or made to feel that we were an inconvenience on a late Friday afternoon. We had a lot of questions. We also had a lot of requirements. The Berlin City crew was patient and detailed and we were able to reach an agreement pretty quickly. We feel confident we made the right decision with the right dealership.
2021 Volvo XC40 review
Our XC40 T5 R-Design was a great purchase. This is our first move into what I consider the Luxury Car market. We test drove and investigated other brands, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and we came back to the Volvo. The I4 Turbo in this vehicle puts out 248 hp, plenty to power this small SUV. The ride is comfortable. Handling is great. The Infotainment system is easy to use, and with the Nav displayed in the center of the LED Instrument cluster it makes navigation easy - no more portable unit falling off the window! 8 way power driver and passenger seats are comfortable and include power lumbar support. Lane Assist feature was a real selling point for my wife - she's pleased. We've had the car for a week now and each time I drive it I am more satisfied that we made the best decision in this class vehicle. Very pleased with our Volvo!

2023 Volvo XC40 review
After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

Between Shawn (Service Agent who showed me how to dispense with an issue on my touch screen), David (who chauffeured me to Trader Joe’s so I could shop while the service appointment happened), and the video made by the actual technician/mechanic explaining what he did and how everything looked under my car, PV passed with more than flying colors!
