2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack review
We bought a used 2019 a month ago. I wasn't aware of these. As I researched a replacement for my wife's GMC Terrain, I learned about all of the bad CVT transmissions and oil burning engines in that class. Happened on a used Alltrack for sale at a dealer and as I researched the dsg transmission and looked up reviews - I was pretty excited by what I read. We have taken in on one 6-hour trip through the mountains and several 3-hour family visits. I love driving it. Probably my favorite car I have driven other than my old 2000 Volvo S70. It seems to be very well built. It is insanely quiet on the road and it has great acceleration. We travel with two kids and two dogs and it zips right up mountain passes, rarely cracking 3k rpm. I wish we had about 2 more inches in the trunk for our kennel, but it is a large space. I am anxious to try the AWD in some Montana snow this winter. Sadly its my wife's driver, but I get to drive it on trip!

It's a great car, except for the fact it sometimes does NOT have enough power. whenever I accelerate from 0, it may take up to a second or two to actually accelerate. in roads going upwards, not even full throttle will make it accelerate enough.

2018 Ford Transit Connect review
I drove a fifteen passenger van before my new Transit Connect. I did not need the size anymore but did not want to give up the roominess of the van. The Transit Connect is perfect. I can seat 6 passengers comfortably when I want and when I am not carrying passengers I can carry a good amount of cargo without having to worry about securing it as I would with a truck. I think it will be great to move my kids back and forth to college! I really like the roomy windshield and the overhead storage. It is not a luxury car. The seats are not as comfortable as other vehicles I have owned, but they are adequate. The engine is smaller and not as much pickup as I am used to, but it has better gas mileage than my other vehicle.

The BEST daily driver I own a 17’ S, and I love it. Holds all my stuff, holds 2 dogs, can put a ski box on top, and best of all, it shares a platform with the GTI. He immediately stopped what he was doing, got it to the garage and between him, his service guy (sorry didn't catch his name, young guy with glasses) and Wilmer, they got it repaired! I was far from home and if went un-noticed, I really could have done some damage to my car. Not too often you get customer service like this, and they definitely went above and beyond! we purchased this van wagon to be adapted into a wheelchair accessible van. it was a ten seat wagon. it was beautiful and it hurt to have to take it apart because it is a great layout. we had a wheelchair lift installed and a easy lock to lock in wheelchair. it's a midroof. this van drives like a sports car. if i didn't know what was back there i would not believe it. It is smooth and the ride is beautiful.. it handles great. we can not say enough good things about it. it is roomy and we still have the back rear seat in . cargo space great behind it. seats are shockingly very comfortable. great family van. i highly recommend it for a family or business purposes. you just can't go wrong. we bought it with 1,400 miles on it. so it was practically new.

2018 Ford Transit Connect review

2016 Volvo XC70 review
Bought our first XC70, a 2006 AWD with 185,000 miles. Now with 265,000, only routine maintenance and rear axle control unit repair. Got our second XC70, a 2016 FWD with with 180,000. Now has 203,000, and we pull a 3300# camping trailer with it. Again only routine maintenance. Neither of these cars burns any synthetic engine oil between 5,000 mile changes. I also drain and refill the transmission sump at the same time. I fully expect these cars to last to 300,000 and beyond. These cars are a perfect combination of safety, comfort, durability, style and power. After going airborne and inverted at 55 in an 82 240 wagon--the victims of an idiot--we were delighted to have survived with only whiplash injuries. The roof stayed right there. Equally delighted and impressed that the president of Volvo called the house thanking me for my letter and photos of the aftermath. He explained why they use the steel they do in roof frames. We've driven only Volvos since 1984, and will never drive anything else. We have five in our family.

2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV review
25K trouble free miles so far. Everybody picks on the 55 kW maximum charge speed, but the car is so efficient that it still adds 100 mi in ½ an hour at a DC station. Imagine a 200 HP Fit, and you've got the idea. Zero dollars on maintenance/repair.
