I bought a used 2008 Jeep Wrangler from them
I bought a used 2008 Jeep Wrangler from them approximately a month and a half ago. I was told the jeep was in good working order and it was a great buy for the money. And a month and a half I’ll be putting $1100 in it just to get it to run properly. Several things on the Jeep went bad and a neutral switch in the transmission went it needed transmission, fluid and whole new transmission change over with the fluid the filter the pan the gasket then it needed a new starter now it’s gonna need more work done on it the passenger side door. The lock doesn’t work. These are the things that should’ve been told me when I bought the car. I would suggest that you don’t believe anything the salesman says or them or the sales manager that says they are I was told well. The Jeep was old and the only thing we guarantee is that it passes inspection and that’s not what I was told I was told the jeep was in“great working condition. My advice stay away from winter Volkswagen in Dover.

Took my 2004 Subaru forester xt in for a misfire, they
Took my 2004 Subaru forester xt in for a misfire, they did literally no diagnostic testing on it such as a compression test, didn't check the oil leak coming from the timing components I referenced or check any of the timing components at all, all they checked was the basic stuff (spark plugs / fuel injector - 160 just for that) because they wanted to "save me money" , every time I asked about those things the service manager was rude ("well I can tell them to do that if that's what you want to do") , she also obviously didn't know anything about engines or what she was talking about because all she could say is "well the technician said he's seen this before". Jumped right too we need to clean the piston rings, didn't say how or what this even entailed, not sure she even knew, how do you do that without taking the pistons out lol, offered little to no information, I'm guessing they meant flush the engine somehow with something and wanted 300 dollars for that, and they said if that didn't work I'm looking at a short block for 9000??? I bought the car for half that lol. Look dealers are great if you have a brand-new car with no issues and they are doing regular maintenance, DO NOT take vehicles there that actually need high level diagnostic testing done, all they are looking to do is "save you money", I never take my car to dealers, thought maybe I'll try on a whim, this solidified why I never do that and never will again, taking this to a shop that knows how to do a proper diagnosis with a compression test, checking timing components, and that are outfitted with a camera to look into the valves, without jumping to a short block rebuild, there are literally so many things in between flushing the engine and that, I don't know how they jump to that while only offering "well we've seen this before and we're trying to save you money", get lost.

I have had my car for a couple of months now, so this
I have had my car for a couple of months now, so this review is long overdue. I was in a bad car accident in February 2024, at which time, my car, which I had only had for 7 months, and that only had 1,980 miles, was totaled. After weeks of searching, I ended up at Winner Subaru in Dover, DE. I was on the lot for less than a minute when Mykayla, one of car sales people approached me. We clicked immediately. I explained to her about my accident and that stated that neither my heart nor mind wanted to embark on the journey of purchasing a car. Instead of jumping right in and trying to sell me a car, she inquired about how I had been doing mentally and physically since the accident. When it was time to get down to business, she assured me that she would help me find the perfect vehicle for me. I didn't really know what I wanted, since I had only purchased Toyotas in the past. She was kind and patient and showed me a number of options. The best car she showed me was by far the best option. I thought I wanted an SUV, but she asked if she could show me the Legacy. I immediately fell in love with the car. The Legacy is exactly what I wanted and needed, although I didn't know it at the time. I put $50 down to hold the car while I gave it some thought. While I hem-hawed around, Mykayla never grew impatient, or pressured me to make a decision. It took me a couple of weeks, but I finally pulled the trigger. When I was ready, Mykayla was by my side and made the process as easy as pie. Since my purchase, Mykayla has continued to reach out and check on my recovery and to ensure everything is going well with me. Occasionally, she will ask about the car. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle, I would encourage you to give Winner a try. Their name says it all. Be sure to ask for Mykayla. I promise you won't be disappointed.

My sales lady, Tiyanna was amazing.
My sales lady, Tiyanna was amazing. She listened to what I needed and wanted. Never tried to push any extras on me but did make a few recommendations after I asked some questions. Took a couple of visits due to my situation. Tiyanna was patient and very helpful. I've bought several cars over the years. Some used, mostly new from different dealerships in the United States and some overseas. I can honestly say that Tiyanna and Winner Subaru made this a great experience.

I recently made a trade/purchase at Winner VW and worked
I recently made a trade/purchase at Winner VW and worked with Kyle L, and I have to say - it was probably the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. Kyle was professional, knowledgeable and most importantly - honest and fair. He rode along with me in my test drive and pointed out many of the car features and differences from my trade in. Kyle partnered with another sales person, Quest - who was equally as wonderful; they both spent time sitting in the car with me going over all of the car functions and making sure I knew how everything worked. I haven't had a car salesperson do that on the last 3 cars I purchased. Lastly the finance department and dealer manager made sure the process of buying was fast and talked to me by name! This is a great dealership with awesome employees, highly recommend 10/10.

Just be warned they might not own up to their mistakes.
Just be warned they might not own up to their mistakes. The Advisors were good and what happened was not their fault. I had a warranty repair done that involved removal of the engine from the vehicle. This typically includes evacuation of the AC system. When I got the vehicle back, it was 30°F, so AC was not even a thought. About a week later, I turned the AC on b/c it was 60°F and raining. It was not producing cold air. I brought it back and talked to the technician who claimed he didn't open the AC system at all. While this is theoretically possible on ny car, the components that would have been moved to do this were not showing signs of his claims. I am a Senior Technician for Mazda, so I hooked up our AC machine and found there was nothing in the system. I vacuumtested the system on two separate occasions and it held perfectly. I even filed and inspected for leaks before fully charging the system. I cant prove the dealership lied to my face, but its been blowing cold since I charged the system myself ($80 of R1234YF) and pressures still are good - so there's no sign of a leak. I wouldn't have cared if they had said that they must have forgotten to charge the system. I would have happily let them charge the system and I would have had no major issue with them. My problem really is that I feel I was lied to directly and then had to verify that there is nothing wrong with the car and foot the bill myself.
