Kia is owned by Hyundai and is based in Seoul, South Korea. Kia vehicles share Hyundai platforms and technology, and they follow a similar value-oriented philosophy: design-forward vehicles with lots of standard features for the money.

Kia SUV highlights are the three-row Telluride and subcompact Seltos, but the brand also offers the compact Sportage and mid-size Sorento. Traditional passenger cars include the compact K4 sedan and hatchback and the mid-size K5 sedan, and the company also offers the Carnival minivan. Hybrid versions of the Carnival, Sportage and Sorento are available, and the latter two also come as plug-in hybrids. Kia’s lineup of all-electric vehicles includes the EV6 crossover and the EV9 three-row mid-size SUV.
