Starting Friday, the Golden State capital will be as good as gold for new-car 
 shoppers as the 2018 Sacramento International Auto Show stakes its 
 claim.

 responses to a recent survey on the subject as well as polled our staff for 
 their car's monikers. Here's what we found.

Volkswagen's iconic Beetle will reach the end of the road in July 2019; VW 
 is marking the end of the car's era with the Beetle Final Edition.

 production of a new Jetta will begin at the end of 2017.
