The performance-oriented M550i’s twin-turbocharged V-8 engine is now rated at 523 horsepower and 553 pounds-feet of torque; that’s an increase of 67 hp and 73 pounds-feet of torque from last year, and the sedan’s 0-60-mph time has dropped 0.3 second to just 3.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the 530e gets a larger high-voltage battery pack that increases the car’s all-electric range from 16 to 20 miles for rear-drive versions and from 14 to 18 miles for all-wheel-drive models.

Newly standard features for the M5 include a digital instrument panel and wireless device charging. The M5 lineup also includes the Edition 35 Years, which celebrates 35 years of the M5 sports sedan. Just 35 have been allotted for the U.S.
