My wife and I enjoy our XT4 and we have drive it over

My wife and I enjoy our XT4 and we have drive it over 19,000 miles in 11 months. People complaining about issues apparently didn’t test drive one before they purchased other wise they shouldn’t be complaining. Performance 8 Comfort. 8 Quality. 7 Exterior finish 9 Interior 8 Ride. 7 Quietness. 8 Nimbleness. 8 Handling. 7 Rear seat room 6 Over all for the value it’s a very nice car. The sunroof had a rattle - dealer repaired a loose clip - fixed - - dealership replaced its battery it seemed weak - replaced with a more powerful one. We have at times spent 7-8 hours highway driving found it very comfortable and quiet. Headlights light of the road ahead very good. In all a very good car. Sounds like some owners should have driven one more before purchasing one or maybe purchased a larger model. We have owned many much more expensive vehicles and this one is in the top ones we have owned. We are in our 70’s so its smaller size is great for getting around. We haven’t had any issues like their complaining about. We will purchase another one possibly a 2025 model.

2023 Cadillac XT4 review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2023 Cadillac XT4?

The Cadillac XT4 is a small, five-seat luxury SUV that competes with the Audi Q3, BMW X1 and Volvo XC40. All XT4s are powered by a 235-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that works with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front- and all-wheel-drive versions are available, as is an adaptive suspension.

What’s New on the 2023 Cadillac XT4?

Lane departure steering assist and blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert are newly standard on the entry-level Luxury trim.

What Features in the 2023 Cadillac XT4 Are Most Important?

Standard features include:

  • 18-inch alloy wheels
  • Power liftgate
  • LED headlights and taillights
  • 8-inch touchscreen multimedia system
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity
  • Forward collision warning
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Lane departure steering assist
  • Blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert

Available features include:

  • 20-inch alloy wheels
  • Leather-trimmed seats
  • Massaging front seats
  • Heated front and rear seats
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Navigation
  • Bose premium stereo
  • Wireless device charging
  • Rearview camera mirror
  • 360-degree camera system
  • Head-up display
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Automatic high-beam headlights

Should I Buy the 2023 Cadillac XT4?

Despite its small footprint, the XT4’s interior is roomy, and it benefits from easy-to-understand controls. Brake-pedal feel isn’t the best, however, and the front seat cushions could be longer. The competition in this corner of the market is strong, so it’s worth checking out some rivals before making a purchase.
