  • Obsessed

Bought a 1 owner GX460 after owning an RX350 for 14 years and 245,000 miles. I LOVED that car. The GX is perfect for my growing family and a little bigger for all of the excess a toddler has in baggage. Will always buy Lexus. Reliability beyond compare!!

  • Captain Seats are a bust

This is my 4th Lexus 460 GX. It seems smaller and there no point using the 3rd row no leg room. What I don't like especially is that you can view everything in your cargo area between the Captain seats. There's no cargo or tonneau cover to hide the cargo. I bought a piece of carpet to hide what could be seen and it continues to fall down.

  • Lexus is being penny-wise and pound foolish!

2021 GX460 Luxury edition no longer has dual auto-dimming mirrors! They had them on the GX460 Premium/Luxury trim ever since their 2010 redesign and even after the 2020 facelift they kept this feature on the Luxury edition...only to be dropped on a 2021! They're saving $100 on a $70k vehicle! Every other Lexus vehicle has them standard or available in a package except for the GX460 now! What's next Lexus??? Manual seats and windows??? Other disappointments are the backup camera that has exact same poor resolution as my old 2008 GX470! 13 years later and Lexus refuses to update the camera resolution! My wife's 2015 RX has a much better camera! Again - total lack of appreciation for the GX drivers. It's like the GX is an after-thought for Lexus. Infotainment system is abysmal - no Apple play, no Android connection, again - these features are now standard not only on other Lexus vehicles but on every new Toyota! Even Mark Levinson stereo is only 330W while the same system on a small IS sedan has same number of speakers but 1800W of power! The new black trim around the console mounted gear shift is of abysmal quality - every touch leaves a print and every connection leaves a mark! Yes the new LED headlights are nice, but why not offer cornering lights as you do on the RX triple-beams? GX is priced at $10k higher in comparable trims! I expected much more from the new 2021 GX, but I could not imagine Lexus cutting corners and doing such cheap stunts as removing a passenger side auto-dimming mirror function - this was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back - this will be my last Lexus!

  • Excellent Safety Features

This car is so comfortable and has the best safety technology. I would have loved it to be a bit wider, and more roomy, as it feels kind of narrow, but it's comfortable all the same.

  • First Lexus owner

I just started driving the vehicle, but I feel the connection already. The sight lines are phenomenal and I feel in a safe place. I have owned two grand Cherokee summits before this car. The price is comparable and that's where the jeep stops keeping up. I look forward to enjoying this vehicle for some time.
