2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
I was going to buy a Giulia a year ago but didn’t due to the mostly negative review from Consumer Reports. I bought something else instead. I recently decided to buy a new Giulia Veloce. Don’t believe the negative reviews on this car! I absolutely love it! It drives fantastic! I’m 6’3” and it has plenty of room. There is nothing in this price range that I had rather have. Unlike the other reviewer here, I don’t have a problem with where the paddle shifters are. It’s a great car that puts a smile on my face every time that I drive it!

2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
We just purchased a 2022 Veloce. Gray with red interior. Love the car. Fast and sexy, unique. I get asked what is it? We haven't had long, but so far no issues. Seats are very supportive and comfortable. Only negative is the back up camera, screen small and dim. We get 33 MPG on trips but about 22 MPG with daily driving around town.

2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
Great combination of style, performance, and luxury. Wanted 2018 or later for CarPlay, got a White AWD Ti Sport loaded with Ti Sport Performance package (Limited slip diff & Active Suspension) same as what's in the Quadrifoglio. If buying used look for that package, they don't offer it anymore in 2021 or 2022 and only on highest 2.0 trim "Estrema" in 2023 which starts at $57,500!

2023 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
I have owned my brand new 2023 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce for six months, and I must say it has been a blast driving it. The exterior styling makes this sports sedan one of the best-looking cars on the road today. The color I picked (Ocra-GT) is a rare find and makes the vehicle even more beautiful. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard wows from strangers. The interior is impeccable, and I love the leather seat design. The bolsters hug the driver as the vehicle makes tight turns. The ride is surprisingly quiet, and the Giulia accelerates quickly. The fuel efficiency is also incredibly good for a sports car. I get about 24-25 miles per gallon in combined city and highway driving. The trim I bought (Veloce) has level 2 autonomous features that work as advertised even though the vehicle has a low center of gravity. I have not had any mechanical or other issues with my car except for taking it in for a quick software update. Combine all of this with the excellent purchase experience at the dealer in NC (Leith Alfa Romeo), including the reasonable purchase price, to the smooth service at my local Alfa dealership (Safford Alfa Romeo - Tysons Corner, VA), it is clear that Alfa Romeo is laser focused on the US market. If you are looking for a sports car that has all the current safety features, excellent build quality, attractive styling, and superb driving characteristics, the Giulia is an exceptional buy.

2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
I drove this car for two year and really loved it. It’s fun to drive and the aesthetics are unmatched. I had the “base” but it’s really totally loaded and looks and feels much more expensive than it is. The maintenance was pretty easy given it’s a new car. It had no issues.

2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
Everything is great EXCEPT the wind noise. I’ve had a busted driver door seal replaced, no change. Had the door adjusted and Alfa techs said it was normal, again no change to me. So I guess if you can live with the door sounding like it’s slightly open all the time.

2023 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
I bought my Alpha Romeo Giulia about 2 weeks ago. I have never sat in or driven one before. I went for a test drive and fell in love. I have owned many fast cars, BMW M4, X7 with twin turbo 8s, Audi's etc. This car takes me back to the old school BMW for the pure driver minus all the extra you pay for the fancy interior LED and tech screens. I needed a good commuter car with good mileage as my SUV gives me 15mpg combined. The Alpha is a great commuter but so much more! It gives 33mph pure highway, I get 27 combined. It's a fast and powerful turbo 4. But the car is light with a carbon fiber drivetrain, it is light and nimble and so much fun to drive. The styling and wheel package on the Veloce trim is stunning. I get many looks and compliments and many wonder what it is. It's a beautiful look with great driving dynamics, and ride is firm but comfortable. It is not as hard as a BMW where you feel every pebble on the road, but tight to the ground with low center of gravity. My other friend loved it so much when we took it for a drive and traded in his 2016 BMW 5 series with the M package. He traded in his twin turbo 8 for the the Giulia and loves the drive. Reminds me of my first BMW in 2009, pure joy. I highly recommend it, especially for the price. Alpha Romeo is not that well known and cannot demand the prices of BMW and Mercedes. I would lease as most European cars lose resale value. Positives are the sporty look and drive quality, sexy wheels and amazing engine and efficiency. Paddle shifters, cargo room in trunk and useable back seat. Negatives are they are a bit behind in tech in terms of Android Auto and Apple car play. It is wired, not wireless, but you can buy a carline device on amazon for 80 bucks to fix that issue. Otherwise, great.

2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
2nd Alfa in 40 Years... '88 Milano remained my #1 Fav driving car after 944, 330i, XF, A4, A6, e350, Mustang. Finally surpassed all of those great rides with my new '24 2.0L Q4. Base stereo sounds nearly as good as my Burmester and somehow is programmed with "perma-surround." 0-60 in 5.4 is nearly as quick as an '85 911turbo! Glad I've lived so long. Twisty, hilly roads in Dynamic Mode will thrill any driver. Advanced Efficiency reduces Torque from 308 to 200 lb/ft and is plenty of grunt commuting. 1st Oil Change coming at 1,500 miles and will Blackstone test the metals. Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.
2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia review
This has been the most fun to drive car I have owned. It has great performance, great mileage and excellent reliability. I purchased a base model in 2017 when it was first "re-intrduced to USA" and kept it almost four years with no issues. I upgraded to a fully optioned Lusso version and have never regretted it. Alfa knows how to make a fun, efficient and "now" a realiable car.
