From the moment I laid eyes on my 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring, I knew this was something special. The beautiful and classy aerodynamic design immediately caught my attention, with its striking light signature and unique styling setting it apart from anything else on the road. Interior & Comfort – A Luxurious Haven Stepping inside, I was greeted by an exquisitely designed, driver-focused cabin. The materials, fit, and finish exude true luxury, and the beautifully isolated interior creates an oasis of comfort. The seating is exceptionally adjustable, allowing me to fine-tune my position for maximum support, making long commutes an absolute pleasure. Driving Dynamics – Performance Meets Refinement Having previously owned a BMW M850, I had concerns about switching brands, fearing that nothing would come close to the driving experience I was used to. However, Lucid exceeded my expectations. The three driving modes provide the perfect balance between efficiency, comfort, and exhilaration. The 819 horsepower is nothing short of breathtaking, delivering instantaneous acceleration that never fails to put a smile on my face. The handling is precise and confidence-inspiring, with steering sensitivity adjusting seamlessly based on the driving mode. Whether taking tight corners or cruising at high speeds, the car goes exactly where I want it to. Ride Comfort – Designed for Long Journeys Beyond its thrilling performance, the ride comfort is exceptional. The adaptive cruise control, whisper-quiet cabin, and premium sound system elevate every drive. Even with my daily long commute, I step out of the car feeling refreshed. Technology & Infotainment – Intuitive and Smart For the first time, I find myself actually using the native GPS system, which is so good that I no longer need Google Maps. Apple CarPlay works seamlessly, and the integrated streaming services ensure I always have access to the perfect soundtrack for any journey. The infotainment system is intuitive, and having access to two screens makes everything feel effortless. Build Quality & Attention to Detail – Excellence in Every Inch Every aspect of this car screams quality. Range & Charging – Living Up to Expectations The real-world range has been close to the advertised numbers, which is impressive given my driving habits. Charging speeds vary depending on the station and how I’ve been driving, but overall, I am very pleased with the efficiency and ease of recharging. Standout Features – More Than Just a Car The generous legroom in both front and rear, the stunning exterior design, and the ample trunk and frunk space make this car as practical as it is beautiful. Opting for the 21-inch wheels was the right decision—they enhance handling, road feel, and overall driving dynamics while also elevating the car’s appearance. Areas for Improvement – A Work in Progress Some people mention ease of entry and exit, but I personally have had no issues. The AI Voice Assistant could integrate better, but I know Lucid is actively improving it and will push updates over the air, so I have no concerns there. Final Verdict – A Game-Changer After owning Mercedes and multiple BMW models (M550, M850, 330, i4), I can confidently say that switching to Lucid was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This car has completely redefined my expectations, and I am fully committed to the Lucid brand for as long as I can be. 2023 Porsche 718 Boxster review
I have a 2023 Porsche Boxster GTS 4.0. It is truly an amazing sport car in terms of performance, reliability and value. I traded in a 2020 Boxster S to purchase this model because a six cylinder internal combustion engine with 394 horse power is distinctly better than a turbo charged four cylinder model. While a manual transmission is preferable. The Porsche PDK automatic transmission in in a class by itself. Lastly, being a mid engine sport car enhances the overall performance.

2015 Lexus RC 350 review

2017 Jaguar F-TYPE review
The SVR F Type is one of the best all-around sports cars I've ever owned, and I have owned quite a few very nice sports cars. This car can do everything, drag race, track days, pleasure cruises, haul $400 worth of groceries with ease, and function as an extremely fun daily-driver with ease. It can even handle light snow and ice on the road with ease given it's British weather heritage and the exceptional AWD system it has. The only thing it cant do is haul more than two people. It is VERY fast from a dig with an excellent all-wheel drive system that squats and goes like a scalded cat. My car has been modified with some performance parts including custom-built 200-cell sport cats on resonated stainless steel downpipes, a smaller crank pulley to increase boost, and an ECU and TCU tune to take advantage of that additional power. It sits now with just under 600 wheel horsepower at the tires and is nearly unbeatable in a stoplight to stoplight race against 95% of the cars you will see on the road normally, including the all-electric Tesla models below the Plaid which is very impressive. Even before it was modified it was truly a fast car straight from the factory and stock. Power delivery is excellent but particularly once in the 3200 RPM range, where it feels like you have a pair of rocket boosters kicking in and it plants your butt in the seat hard. Fit with a set of B-Forged 3-piece wheels (21x11 rears and 21x9 fronts)and larger than stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (285/35ZR21 in the front and 325/25ZR21 in the rear) the handling is superb in this car. The 20" factory tires and wheels are great as well. It corners extremely well, rotating and accelerating out of corners like it is on rails. The electronic stability and traction control are NOT too invasive, and in Dynamic mode it will let you have all the fun you could want. The 575 crank horsepower rating on this car is definitely understated, as a factory car will dyno 500 to 520 HP AT THE TIRES despite an AWD system that takes about 18% percent of the engine's output to power. The standard larger brakes that come part of the SVR package are excellent and have all the stopping power you could want. The factory titanium exhaust is so much fun on this car and makes lots of ear-pleasing noise if you are a fan of exhaust notes, pops, and bangs. They can be swapped to a quite mode if you prefer or turned on to the louder mode whenever you choose. Swapping out the factory catalytics for the 200-cell sport cats with resonators made the exhaust note sheer perfection. As far the exterior goes, this is one of the most graceful and beautiful designs of all time IMO, as well as many others. It follows the classic proportions with a low sweeping hood and nose and powerful wide and compact rear with at four wheels located as close to the corners as possible. The interior is also beautiful, and despite not having a huge infotainment system, what it does have works well, looks good, and fits with the rest of the interior. The seats are comfortable but very supportive, and even at 6 foot 4 inches tall I fit in the car very comfortably. The top option stereo is a must and sounds great with the factory subwoofers and speakers. Reliability has been superb so far. A 2017 model that just turned 20k miles, the only repairs thus far have been a broken hood latch (which was mostly my fault) and a driver's rear shock which started leaking. Both of these repaired under warranty. All in all, this is a fantastic car and everyone that has ridden or driven mine has fallen in love with it. With only 1,871 SVR's built between 2017 and 2020 in the entire world, I have no doubt that resale value will hold steady and possibly appreciate in the near future as they get more and more exposure from enthusiasts. WARNING: Do not buy one if you do not like attention. I cant remember the last time I drove mine without at least one person asking about it.

2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek review
Bought my Crosstrek from the dealer, and have owned many cars, raced cars, built cars, and even owned my own auto repair shop. The 2013 was first year out, and yes it has improved over the years so I can't leave a 5-star review. The strong points for me have been reliability and looks. Secondary has been a 4cyl with great gas mileage, and decent performance. Interior noise is a little higher than an SUV like a 4Runner, sound system sucks, and Subaru probably should have mated it with a turbo, but overall it has been a great ride, and Subaru fixed many of these issues in later editions. The AWD is amazing in the rain! For those that have the oil consumption in later years, just add engine "restore", and the issue is solved. Replace your bearing w/ the backing plates, and you should be good to go for another 100K. For the first year out, Subaru did an amazing job.

2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV review
Like all the other reviews I've read, a great car, fun to drive, comfy, quiet, peppy, good range. (All these based on price class, of course you can spend twice as much to get comfier, quieter, peppier, batter range.) A couple of points: hold out for the Premier trim level-- the view astern with the conventional rear view mirror is marginal at best, for safety on the highway and ease of parking you'll want the rear view camera display in the mirror and the other camera that help parking which come with the Premier level. A little scare with the charger that came with it- glitched out on me, and unplugging it and plugging it in again didn't fix. Took it to the dealership and it worked fine. Looking on the web later, it turns out that if the charger gets hung, you have to leave it unplugged for a few minutes for it to reset, which is probably what the trip to the dealership did. Only happened once, fine since then. Nitpicky- the charger is supposed to be mounted upright, cord down, for rain protection, but the 240 volt cord is too short to do that unless the 240 volt outlet is mounted upside down so the outlet itself catches rain. If you plan to mount your charger outside, plan on doing under some kind of overhang to protect from rain. Wheels can spin out with the great acceleration and two wheel drive, especially in rain. I've gotten used to the AWD of my Subaru Forester, so a bit of a shift. But Bolt is a xxxx sight quieter and a bit more comfortable than the forester. Bet the Forester get the front spot in our driveway in snowy weather.

2020 Ford Mustang review
I love this car. So many mods can be done to make it your own and unique to you. Move currently produces more hp than a stock GT 350. The looks and performance are outstanding for a car in this price range. My only gripes are that occasionally one of the mirrors (actually happens on both sides just not at the same time) will go all the way in one direction until it can't go anymore then click constantly until you press that mirror and touch the manual adjust button. Then you can hit your pre set of you have one and everything will be fine. It's always when I unlock the car to get in that this happens and it's totally random. If course the dealer can never find anything wrong with it. My other gripe was that on occasion it wouldn't recognize my fob. The only way I could start the car was to lift up the cup holder mat and stick the fob in the slot. But then if I went somewhere and turned the car off, it would be fine. Again totally weird and random. Overall though, I wouldn't give this car up for anything. So much fun to drive, and the sound of that V8 exhaust just gets the blood flowing. Not to mention the all the looks you'll get from people.

2021 Lincoln Aviator review
I have the touring plug in Electric hybrid version. The range is relatively modest, only about 22 miles per charge, but living in Florida. I don’t drive much more than that a day anyway I averaged 39.9 miles per gallon which I think is exceptional for a part of this size. If it weren’t for the numerous recalls and problems with the electric seat controls and the air conditioned seat fan, I would give this five stars.

2024 Lexus UX 250h review

I bought a year old BMW. The price was better than I found at other dealerships. They were prepared to go as slow as I wanted and answer all my questions, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted fast! So after a quick test drive went in and signed the paperwork, while they washed it for me. They let me leave my old car there and drive my new car home. There was a headlight malfunction and they said it was completely covered under warranty. However, because it was a software issue, Carmax said I needed to take it to BMW, but that Carmax would cover any costs. They were true to their word!
2017 Lincoln Continental review
Inherited a loaded 2017 Lincon Reserve from my uncle. 20 Inch rims, 3.0 bi-turbo, upgraded Revel sound system...the works. I own an Audi A8L which IMO sets the bar for interior design and ergonomics and this is the only area where the Lincoln trails the Audi. The options, ride and feeling of driving a luxury vehicle is comparable to the Audi as well. I some areas even superior. The Lincoln has been trouble-free for a year whereas the Audi, being overengineered, is prone to reliability issues. I love the outside doorhandles to the Lincoln and its profile but I'm still trying to love the rear end design. To me this is the shortcoming from a design perspective. Other than this, a great car!

2019 Lexus LX 570 review
When I started thinking of a new vehicle, the LX 570 was my 1st thought. I drove a Lincoln Navigator for a week to test, and loved it. I looked at the BMW X7, the Range Rover, Mercedes GLS 450, Infiniti QX80, and the Cadillac Escalade. I hadn’t driven an LX or Land Cruiser in many years. I had 99% decided on the Navigator, but decided to go test drive the LX570. While the LX570 is smaller than the Navigator... after I completed the test drive I knew the LX570 was the winner. Its not as fast or powerful (horsepower wise), but in Sport mode it moves quickly. I have had my LX570 for 2 months now... and I absolutely love it. I hope that in the next 3 years that Lexus will release the LX as a fully electric vehicle.
