Amazing service!!! Great manager and super helpful dealers! Definitely the place to go if you want a car. At Ocean Honda, cars are sold at a reasonable price by friendly staff. Our dealer, Alder Lee was very friendly too. The manager was also quite great!
2024 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
As a BMW driver for decades (318i, 328i), I reluctantly switched to Tesla when the Model S became the first practical EV. I wanted to drive electric more than I wanted to be loyal to (IMHO) the best line of sedans and coupes on the planet. I loved the S, too, but after 12 years it was having problems, support was rotten, and it was time for a replacement. Fortunately, all the manufacturers have EVs now. Although I test drove several other makes, I was delighted to see that the BMW i4 was my favorite. When it started to look like tariffs were going to increase prices, I abbreviated my search and went for the Bimmer. By chance, the dealer had a 2024 shop loaner available with low mileage and a lower price than a brand new 2025 so I leased it. (Incidentally, it was less expensive in absolute dollars than the Model S was in 2012!) I'm glad I "pulled the trigger" when I did and I love the car. Handling is excellent. It "feels like" a BMW despite slightly lighter steering than my last 328. It's feature-rich and I'm still learning the ancillary controls. I'm OK with CarPlay although Tesla's own infotainment system is better. The driver assist is good and automatic stop/start in heavy traffic is a joy although I still prefer steering myself under better conditions. I think most BMW drivers will feel likewise. I haven't used self-parking other than a demo in the dealer's lot but I promise to try it. I don't expect to need a lot of service - it's an EV - but at least BMW takes phone calls! The cell phone app is better than Tesla's and it's NOT the only way to schedule service. My only real objection is the location of the charge port at right-rear which will make it awkward to use short-corded Tesla Superchargers even once BMW concludes a deal with Tesla. The i4 has more "hard" controls - which I prefer for eyes-on-the-road driving - than Model S but its voice recognition commands are more limited. Its navigator has the same voice as Model S but gives more frequent bum steers. All in all, I'm very glad I made the switch. And I didn't give money to the Little Dictator who works for the Big Dictator!

Honda of Oakland review
Ryan was a tremendous help -- a guide, really. I needed his expertise and what he showed me is that it's not about the car, necessarily, it's about the person. Every move we made was driven by what I needed and wanted, what my expectations and requirements (and worries and fears) were, not a need to sell a car. When expectations and fears collide, it's only a really good salesperson that can help you sort that out and match you with the right short or long term solution. Ryan's a _really good salesperson_ in the way we should be understanding what that means: taking the time to listen, so that he can find a solution that is appropriate for the person who's come to him for help.

Just received my Alpina B6 that I purchased sight unseen and had shipped to the East Coast. I couldn't find another B6 anywhere in the country with all of the options and a color I wanted. It is beautiful, as described. I found Horatiu to be frank and very helpful in walking me through the uncertainty of such an expensive purchase from 2500 miles away. He answered all of my questions quickly, helped set up the inspection at a local BMW dealer, made me a few extra keys for the wheels, and after the deal was done, money wired and car shipped, continued to be responsive when I had a question or needed additional paperwork. I am not a person who likes to bargain, so for me, knowing that he sets a price and sticks to it, was a definite plus! The car is currently at my BMW dealer, getting wrapped and snow tires and a few other extras, and it is getting admiring looks from customers and the BMW dealer employees. Thank you very much, Horatiu! (This review is being posted on other sites - the fact that I am bothering to do this when I never post reviews should tell you something)

I recently purchased a BMW i4 from Adam Locke, and I can't speak highly enough about the service he provided. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Adam was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to listen to my needs and preferences, and he helped me find the perfect car for me. Adam was patient and thorough in explaining all of the features and options available with the BMW i4. He went above and beyond to make sure that I understood everything about the car, and he answered all of my questions with clarity and enthusiasm. When it came time to negotiate the price, Adam was fair and transparent, and he worked hard to ensure that I got a great deal on my new car. He made the entire purchasing process smooth and seamless, and I felt confident and comfortable throughout. Overall, I would highly recommend Adam Locke to anyone who is looking to purchase a BMW. He is an excellent salesperson who truly cares about his customers, and he goes above and beyond to provide outstanding service. Thank you, Adam, for helping me find my dream car!

My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.

2023 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
I've had EVs since 2012. First was a Nissan Leaf, then a VW eGolf, then an Audi A3 etron. Those were all outstanding cars, but compared to all of those the i4 eDrive40 is in a different class. It's very responsive and quick. It feels extremely high-tech and plays Hans Zimmer iconic sounds. When we've gone on longer trips, consistently gets 280-300mi / 100% charge. Unless we're on a trip, I only charge it to 80% and it gets about 220-240mi on a charge. It's amazingly smooth and solid, and the interior is top notch. The M-Sport Pro package with custom color and leather made it at the top of the price range, so from a value perspective it seems excessive.

I brought my BMW in for an oil change and had a great experience overall. Victor, the service advisor who helped me, was friendly and knowledgeable — he walked me through the service, answered my questions clearly, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. The oil change itself was done efficiently and professionally. It's always reassuring to work with someone who clearly knows BMWs well. I'll definitely be coming back for future service, and I'd recommend asking for Victor if you're bringing your car in.
2023 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
I have the M50 version of the iV. I love the independence and drive of the electric car. It has super power, sometimes surprising do. It accelerates instantly and with tons of power. I also love the hatch back; lots of room in the trunk space. My issue with the car is primarily the fact that it really is a sorts car: quite low to the ground, which isn't the easiest at my age (71) to get into. Because of the demand for the car when I bought it, I had to make a decision without really test driving it. The i5 wasn't yet available, and I wanted electric but not the huge iX, so the iV was my only option for an electric at the time. The tires on the car are mounted on 19" rims, so the tire face is thin. This means that the tires puncture or tear quite easily, like just gently scraping a curb. I just bought a set of snow tires with 17" rims but all-season tires are not yet available (hope they will be soon!). This had added a significant unforeseen cost to the annual maintenance if the car. Good car if you aren't troubled by these issues but maybe pass on the iV of you are and head to the i5 or another manufacturers EV.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Khalil Mannah at Peterpan BMW to purchase a BMW X3, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Khalil went above and beyond to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. First and foremost, Khalil was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the different features and options available on the BMW X3. He took the time to patiently walk me through each detail and explain the pros and cons of different packages and add-ons, which helped me make an informed decision about which options I wanted on my car. Throughout the purchasing process, Khalil was also very responsive and easy to work with. He answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly, and he was always available to help me with anything I needed. He also worked hard to negotiate a great price for me, and i got a fantastic deal. Overall, I would highly recommend Khalil Mannah and Peterpan BMW to anyone looking to purchase a BMW or any other high-quality vehicle.

I was using another dealership for service and they were subpar, but Wayne ?The Car Guy? and Daniel Martinez were amazing! Wayne made us feel welcome and Daniel kept me apprised every step of the way. The service was done for a reasonable price (yes, in this economy) and I felt like I received a great value. Also, the cleaned AND vacuumed my car vs running through a car wash- it was so kind. Can?t say enough good things about their service department!
