AMAZING SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I start off with those three words so even if you don't read this whole review you get the point. We were traveling through Augusta GA after evacuating from hurricane Ida that had just devastated the New Orleans area. All warning lights popped up on the dash of my 2016 VW Jetta SEL and the vehicle went in to limp mode. Zero power over 35mph. On top of the destruction of hurricane Ida back home in New Orleans now I have a car that just basically gave up on me. The already pit in my stomach became even larger and only the worst case scenarios were going through my head now. A Google search leads me to the amazing team at Gerald Jones Volkswagen and the magic begins. Expecting at least a two or three day hotel stay in Augusta my service advisor Charles Davis takes me in to his service drive and assures me that everything will be alright and immediately puts one of his top techs named Mr. Chris on the case. Turns out it was as simple as a wheel speed sensor that the parts specialist Candace Betsch had sitting on the shelf in the parts department. While waiting on my vehicle to be repaired and strolling through the new car showroom I was greeted by the nicest young lady by the name of Vickie McPhee who introduced herself as the General Manager and was just as sweet as could be making sure that I was doing okay with a true concern about our safety during this hurricane evacuation. She even went as far as to introduce me to one of the owners Mr. David Jones and we had a great conversation as well. Next thing I know my service advisor Charles was standing next to me telling me that the speed sensor had already been replaced and my vehicle after being washed and run through quality control was ready to go. This my friends is one heck of a car dealership that has employed a team of people that truly care about their customers no matter where they are from or what dealership the vehicle was purchased. 2021 BMW X1 review
I couldn't be happier with this vehicle. It was made for ME! Its height makes it easy and painless to enter and exit the driver's seat with my arthritic knees....I just slide in & out in nicely! The "head up" feature is very helpful every day. Those are the best headlights ever for night driving. No complaints from this customer-in her 3rd X!

2021 BMW X1 review
The first thing one notices is the quietness of the ride. After that, the handling - surefooted and solid. Love the extensive sunroof. Only owned the car a short while, so hard to comment on value for the money, but loving the easy acceleration of this car and the smooth handling around curves. I wanted a smaller vehicle since usually just me, but one that can handle winter driving and steep hills. The X1 more than fits that bill.

New bmw x1. Glides…effortless driving. Incredible performance. I’ve had three other x1’s prior…nothing comes close to the handling of the 2023. However…the huge screen is distracting, it’s not user friendly and by the time I figure out the new gadgets I’ll be ready for a new lease🤷🏻♀️

2023 BMW X1 review
Just picked-up the X1 on Mar 28th and had a great ride home from the dealership. Handles very well on the road with ample torque when needed. Hate the start/stop mechanics and the fact that you must deactivate each time. Hate the ConnectDrive thing—beware this is a sinister ploy to get more of your dollars and convert once standard car features into subscription services. It is evil. Love the interior. This is my third BMW, so I think this X1 interior is quite good for the money and I am astounded by the standard features list—Wow! And there’s a spare tire with tools in the trunk, WHAT!? I use a touch screen all day, so the tech is no stretch, as long as it works. We shall see, the OS is new. Dual clutch….hmmm, it has its advantages, but smooth take off ain’t one of ‘em. The seats are superb and the cabin very clean. Love the cargo space. This is a good vehicle for a certain group of buyers who want cargo and fun. This is a smart ICE choice, and I hope there will eventually be a U.S. bound iX1.

2025 BMW X1 review
Car delivers more than I expected. Two must have options are Technology Package and Driver Assistance Plus - that combination is hard to find. Sport seats are very comfortable. Lack of knobs and buttons is an issue - miss them. There is a huge learning curve transitioning to a touch screen. You must absolutely make use of the BMW "Genius" service. Highway MPG exceeds advertised value.

2025 BMW X1 review
Vehicle is a strong performer (no surprise here given its "M" designation. No disapointments in that regard. Sport seats are very supportive; especially with the lumbar support adjustability. Cabin tech is abysmal though. Not at all intuitive; functions nested down menus where you would never expect them. Owners manual is 480 pages! Really ! While the vehicle makes me smile quite often the complexity of the cabin tech has me cursing every time I start the vehicle. The so-called "Genius" program help line only works Mon. - Fri. Central time in the US! Not too happy about that either.

2016 BMW X1 review
The X1 sounds like a diesel motor when you start it, they could've def made it more comfortable, the brakes are really mushy, can only use super unleaded. The plusses are it's a BMW girls think I'm rich, Lighting on the interior at night is wild, performance is amazing, buying used saves tons of money. It's a thin line to buy this car, I feel like I got lucky with the price I paid and I'll be in a good position by the time it's paid off, but pricing has to be right on this car and it has to be in good shape mechanically. Buy from a reputable dealer because I wouldn't want to imagine how much it would cost to maintain/repair a poorly maintained one of these.
