The two-door coop is a great ride. Has economy to sport settings to adapt to your riding style. Corners great, accelerates as needed. Getting about 25 mpg mostly local driving. 30 mpg highway.

2013 BMW 328 review
Have had 5 3 series`, and I wont drive anything else, starting with a `78 323. Love the whole layout, including the battery...surprising power for a 4 cylinder. My last was an inline 6, and this is far quicker. I`m 6 ft tall, and the back seat is , well, a back seat. You have as much legroom as the front seaters allow, but even with the front seats pulled a few inches forward, there is still ample room in front (and back). Only drawback? The shift into second can be a little abrupt, that`s about it. Thx.

Despite the busy holiday weekend, Dave went above and beyond to help. I dropped the van off in the morning, and by late afternoon, Dave called to let me know it was all taken care of—safe and ready for our drive home. Huge thanks also to the technician who worked on the van—Tech ID: 995—for diagnosing and fixing the issue so quickly and efficiently. I didn’t catch his name, but I’m very grateful for his work behind the scenes. Most shops wouldn’t even accept walk-ins during a holiday weekend, let alone prioritize them, but this team made it happen. I’m truly thankful for the care, professionalism, and exceptional service I received. Unless you are getting out on a track or you can drive on completely empty highways with no danger from the police, this car has more than enough. It is just shy of 400 HP. How much do you really need? Mine is the M40i configuration. One of the things that attracted me to this car was the appearance. I was looking at a used M4, but I could not get over the appearance of the front. Ugly as homemade sin. That left me looking at the last version of the M4, and there just are not that many around with lower mileage. But this car is beautiful. From every angle, it is just a stunning car. You can mark that as unimportant, but I look at the car every time I drive it, and I want a car that is visually pleasing. The current 4 series is downright ugly when looking at them from the front. My one gripe is the technology – too darned much! It becomes unwieldy. The settings are infinitely variable and the same thing can be done in many different ways, which makes it all the more confusing. Despite all of this superfluous technology, the one thing they did not add was a setting where the display panel would appear as a traditional dashboard with 2 main dials. It seems that that would have been simple given the amount of technology they built into this car. That is the primary reason for the 4 star rating. Another reason for 4 stars on comfort is the seatbelt. The seatbelt does not have that little xxxxxxx feature which enables you to click it into place so that it is not constantly pulling. As a result, it bites into my collarbone just a little bit. A first world problem, I know. I bought one of those plastic clips that prevents it from retracting the full way, and I use that from time to time. These are minor complaints. This is a really great car. It is not my daily driver, so when the weekend gets here, I am bending over backwards to think about places where I "need" to go. It is often too hot here in Central Florida to ride with the top down during the day, but dropping the top at night even during July and August will be great. This is just a great car and I am enjoying every minute behind the wheel.

2012 BMW 128 review
I have had convertibles since 1975. 68 Camaro, 76 Jeep CJ5, 92 Chrysler LeBaron GTS, 96 BMW 328iC, 06 Pontiac Solstice and now the 12 BMW 128i. Retired in 2017 and had to feed the desire for another convertible in 2019 and the 128i ticked all the boxes for my current desires. Fit and reliability. At 6'1" I don't fit into a MX5, so that's the 1st two check offs. RWD, so no Audi, A4 FWD in my price range. Six cylinder preferably straight 6 for perfect engine balance. Nissan 350/370 are ugly chops. Then the exotics(shut up Porsche boys) were too expensive for repairs. I learned "basic" repairs on the E36. I have done many easy maintenance jobs in my garage that allows me to have this Touring car. As a touring car having a back seat is great for a cooler, backpack, and doggy space. With the trunk space (2X) of MX5 this makes a great touring car for weeks on the road. 230hp for a car this small is great for ripping through the Rockies and the Twisted Sisters outside of Fredericksburg of Texas.

2024 BMW M240 review
I did careful reviews of this model as well as the 4 Series. I was really looking at the 2023 4 Series 2Dr Coupe. I decided to go with the 2024 M240I because ... 1. it's a two door. I liked what I was seeing with the professional/owner reviews for the 2023 model year. And 2. I bought this as the last new car I will buy and as a reward to myself for a life well lived and jobs well done. I got the Portimao Blue Metallic Cognac Interior. I didn't pay for the add-on's that dealers like to charge. I only paid for what I had too. Do your homework on this. Will save thousand if you do. Some emails, couple of phone calls and the deal was done. Now, down to my opinions of this car.... I didn't really think I would like the run flats ... but, not bad at all. Like any tire, depending on the road surface, they can either be loud or quite. For the most part, quite. Add to that the build quality of BMW and I have a quite riding car. When the door closes, it does it with a solid "this door is closed" sound. Only other thing I will add about the tires ... I will get a donut spare. Don't like not being without it, run flats not withstanding. The interior is very well done I think. Everything is right there for you to get to without having to stretch for it. The IDrive 8 is very easy to work once you get it sorted the way you want it. Seats are very comfortable. Heated seats warm up nicely in cold weather ... so does the steering wheel. Sound system is great. I really like the fact that BMW kept the control wheel for the IDrive 8 system and didn't go full on touch screen. Same with buttons on the steering wheel. Real buttons. Another thing that I thought I wouldn't like was the toggle for the gear selector. Not a issue at all. Given the small interior for the 2Dr Coupe, the toggle works out well. A stalk selector would have been like a black eye. Engine response when you put your foot on it is right there. I've not noticed any turbo lag at all. Maybe due to the M240I being a 6 and not a 4. Power is there when you need it. My MPG so far has been about 26.5 in town. Was over 30 mpg on the highway/interstate. Having to use premium is not a factor for me. Knew that going in before I bought the car. For the cost of this car, spend the money and use the premium grade. Visibility hasn't been an issue at all. The tech is great. Works very well and is easy to set up the way you want it. The back up sensors were at first a bit annoying, but I got used to them fairly quickly. Loving the heads up display. So far, I've got no complaints.
