2025 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
I test-drove the Tesla Y and the BMW i4. Both had great acceleration and many desirable features. However, the BMW felt more luxurious, higher in overall quality, and newer in design. I have been driving the BMW i4 eDrive 40 for about two weeks. Because I am new to EVs, it took me a while to learn the many features. The dealer process took several hours to explain things and I returned briefly several times to request further explanation on specific points. Owners should be conversant with cell phones and computers to use the features. I am still waiting for the QMerit Level Two Charger to be installed but regular 110 Volt house current has been adequate to recharge the car after a normal commute. The car is actually a hatchback, with the trunk being capable of lifting high. The rear seats fold down, so the trunk is quite voluminous. I didn't like the vertical grills at first but they are growing on me and I consider the car beautiful inside and out. It is a pleasure to drive. I am already wedded to electric cars and doubt I'll ever get another ICE car.

Although an EV, BMW it is in fact the Ultimate Driving machine. Very fast from 0-60 3.7s excellent HP 536 TQ 586. With the booster on it will quick you back in your seat.

My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.

2023 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
I've had EVs since 2012. First was a Nissan Leaf, then a VW eGolf, then an Audi A3 etron. Those were all outstanding cars, but compared to all of those the i4 eDrive40 is in a different class. It's very responsive and quick. It feels extremely high-tech and plays Hans Zimmer iconic sounds. When we've gone on longer trips, consistently gets 280-300mi / 100% charge. Unless we're on a trip, I only charge it to 80% and it gets about 220-240mi on a charge. It's amazingly smooth and solid, and the interior is top notch. The M-Sport Pro package with custom color and leather made it at the top of the price range, so from a value perspective it seems excessive.

I had a 2018 all black challenger, and decided the color just wasn't for me. Nick Barbera gave me a smoking great deal on my trade in for a beautiful 2020 Challenger in indigo blue. It has a cinnamon red leather interior, and I am very happy with this car. Hats off to all the good people at Auto Web Expo in Plano Texas!!! I recommend Autos of Dallas & specially & specifically QUINTEN as the go to person if you plan on getting a vehicle! At Autos of Dallas i was treated with the upmost respect and Integrity! Quinten was my sales person and took his time helping me even though I was a walk in buyer and he had about 2-3 appointments scheduled and other customers at that very moment. I was allowed to test drive and fully check the vehicle for any defects as well as go over the carfax which is mandatory anyways. I had a concern and they even went as far as to connect a scanner to give me peace of mind over an issue that wasnt even a problem. As stated in the beginning of my review: I recommend Autos of Dallas & specially & specifically QUINTEN as the go to person if you plan on getting a vehicle! I was going to get an AMG elsewhere but it was a deal too good to be true & as soon as I walked into Autos of Dallas Quinten got me into a 2020 Cadillac CT4 that I absolutely love! 💯 I could have took my time and looked at other vehicles but all of their selections are amazing and the car i got fit my persona, lifestyle and is spacious enough for my toddler. The experience from the very beginning was top notch. I set up an appointment with the receptionist at the dealership, within minutes I received a text from Quinten Chow confirming my appointment. Not even 30 minutes later Quinten sent me a walk around video of the car I was interested in showing the inside and outside of the car which was a really nice touch. Our appointment was initially set for a Friday morning but we decided it would be best to go in the night before to make sure the car fit the description. Quinten responded immediately and said to come on in. We arrived at the dealership and Quinten was there for us from the beginning. He sat us down in his office and made sure we were comfortable with waters while he had the car pull up to the front. He made a quick copy of our driver's license and showed us the car and let us take it on a test drive, even giving us directions on the best route to take. The car was exactly as described and were extremely impressed with it. Quinten is a non pressuring person and wanted to make sure this was the best fit car for my daughter. We went home that evening to get things in order and set up another appointment for the next day to finalize the paperwork. Everyone there was extremely friendly and you could tell they loved their job which is rare these day's. Quinten and his team made sure we got the best deal from the start and answered all our questions and concerns. Dale in financing was also amazing, he explained all the paperwork and warranty information very thoroughly. Dale even took the time to walk us over to meet the service advisor which is nice that the have these services on site and even offered the first oil change and tire rotation free, and free state inspections each year for the life of the loan. The best part of all of this is that when I got home that evening I get a call from Dale and he says he has great news. I was like can it get any better? He informed me that the bank called him and let him know that they could lower my interest rate 2 points which saved over 30 dollars a month which was almost 3k over the life of the loan! I know this sounds to good to be true of a buying experience but it was the best buying experience I have ever experienced in all the 30 plus years of buying vehicles. Hat's off to Quinten, Dale and the team at Alpha Rameo of Plano, you have my business and referrals, keep up the great work and Thank You from the bottom of my Heart, Family for Life!
