The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. He more than once told us, “I have your back”, and his actions backed that up. 2014 Buick LaCrosse review
I'm very happy with my Buick LaCrosse Hybrid. It's very comfortable to sit and drive and I've had many compliments from passengers regarding the comfortable and nice looking interior. Everything is great about the engine but the best part is the gas economy. I'm loving my hybrid.

2013 Buick LaCrosse review
My Lacrosse has been a great car. Only complaint I have is the interior visor had broken and I had it replaced with a new one and the new one has broken. It does not stay up. It just dangles both visors. Also, at the same time of the first visor the trim around the cup holder came off and I could not get it back on, so I got a new one and now the new one had broken. Beside the interior the car has been a great car. Very reliable.

2011 Buick LaCrosse review
I had the car for about a month and I love it. It rides like a dream. The only thing I don’t like is the center console doesn’t have adequate storage, it is very small and the lighter outlet is inside on the bottom so you really can’t store anything in there.

2014 Buick LaCrosse review
This makes the fourth review that I have written on this site about my 2014 Buick LaCrosse since 2014. Since I bought it new this car has been a joy to own. I do not harbor one disappointment or complaint about it. Other than normal scheduled maintenance as recommended by GM the only other service needed was a replacement of a stuck brake light switch. That's it! In addition to the above mentioned normal mechanical maintenance service, I do have the car detailed twice a year plus frequent car washes in-between to keep the finish like new. An aside---twice within the past six weeks two strangers have approached me commenting on the cars looks, engaging me in conversations around it and asking about my experience with Buick. Of all the new luxury and higher end cars I have owned over many years, this car has elicited more positive comments on a consistent basis year after year then any other I have had and it still continues to draw positive attention after six years. I find that amazing. It is too bad that the LaCrosse is no longer in production but when I am ready for a new car I will definitely be going back to Buick. I hope the four reviews I have provided over the past six years are helpful to those who are considering buying a Buick. In my opinion you can't go wrong.

2016 Buick LaCrosse review
This car is a dream to own & drive. My only complains are the paint job. Mine is silver and deterating very fast now matter how much its washed & waxed. Also, you cannot check the transmission fluid unless you take it to the dealer. It is sealed underneth the car. Other than those 2 issues, its a wonderful vehicle.

2017 Buick LaCrosse review
Best car I have ever owned. Bought it used in 2020 with 19k on it. I now have 54k on it. This car has not had one problem. I have averaged 26.8 mpg over the last 35,000 miles and I can get 35 to 38 mpg on highway trips. This is from a 310 HP V-6 that will scream when you need it. Impressive. These new Turbo 4 cylinders can't touch the smoothness, the power or the efficiency of this engine. At 50mph if you step on the throttle it puts your back against the seat and sprints to 100 mph in a blink. I have forgotten to shut off the engine a couple times as I was leaving the car. The thing is whisper quiet when idling or at 80 mph. 8 years old and still tight all around. This is truly an amazing car.

2007 Buick LaCrosse review
I have owned a 2007 Lacrosse for 15 years now and love that car very much. The only problem I have ever had is the coolant system currently. This car is extremely reliable and fuel efficient. The slow pickup is due to the type of engine Buick puts in to prolong the life and performance. I have the medium red version shown above with tan interior. Some owners do not take care of these cars as should be done which create issues written about in the other reviews. Proper care helps a LaCrosse perform as designed and the owner smile as I do showing off an award winner when first debuted. None can compare to my LaCrosse or be as great to drive. This car would not be traded for anything!!!! Eventually, it will become classic status at which time a full restoration will be attempted. I love Big Red and so does my chichuahua.
