2020 Cadillac XT5 review
I purchased the 2020 Cadillac XT5 midsize crossover based on the stylish looks, comfortable ride and optional V6 engine which takes regular gas. The panoramic sunroof, electronic precision shifter and interior design adds to the overall driving experience. The ride is good, but there is more road noise than expected probably due to no under carriage engine shield which makes the cabin not as isolated as it could be. Also there should be as standard equipment a rear mirror camera due to poor visibility. It appears many used Cadillac XT5 have some minor rear damage when checking the Carfax report.

Road noise is loud, Water leak in front passenger side during heavy rain or car wash. Engine noise that the tech can’t locate. The XT 5 is a very nice size SUV. For a high end vehicle the warranty should be better in length and milage..

Got the XT5 Sport from Paul Conte Cadillac in Freeport, great dealership & great car. has nice power and handles well. reminds me of GMC Acadia Denali I used to have. drove the loaner 26 model for a couple of days, and it has much better electronics + heads up display.

2019 Cadillac XT5 review
The XT5 is a great car that is quick, comfortable, fun to drive and it stands out from a crowded suv market. There is very little I would change. I like the 310 hp V6, 8 speed transmission and the brakes are smooth while performing quick stops very well. I do not care for the run / stop feature on the XT5 or any car for that matter. The fit and finish were impressive as well.

This is my second XT5. Had a 2017 and never had a problem. Just got my 2023 XT5 Sport, and wow, maybe too much power for a senior citizen, but I love it. A few changes from the 2017, but love the car. I put other vehicles like the Jeep or GMC as beasts, my XT5 is more like a cat, still get where I want to be with luxury.

I was interested in a Nissan NV 2500. Viewing several of these vehicles on cars.com and other sites. I decided to make the trip to Trust Auto in Maryland from West Virginia. About a 4 1/2 hour trip. I had talked to David on the phone to make sure the Nissan was still available and explained when I could be there to look over the vehicle. We made the trip in good time only running into one delay. Upon meeting David he brought the vehicle up to the front of the dealership and told us to inspect it, which is what we did. I had two top mechanic with me. While we knew the vehicle had been in an accident, the repair work was very well done on found a few bolts missing. One in the valance and the other from the inner fender. This could have been from the accident or just from being a service vehicle. A little over 94,000 miles on it. The detail shop did a great job on their work. Very chean for sure. After running the computer test, we took the Nissan NV for a test drive. It did not disappoint. Extremely happy with everything we saw and felt during the test drive. Steering was solid and tracked well. No pull to either side while driving. Throttle response was perfect as well as the braking system. The comfort of the Nissan NV was Avery pleasant surprise. The ride was almost as good as my Lincoln MKZ, almost.😎 Much like a 2006 GMC dually I had in 2007. Very nice. When returning to the dealership myself and the two mechanics talked things over and decided to go to the next step. After a little negotiation we settled on a fair price and made the purchase. David was very kind to us and I feel like we got a great deal. We finished the paperwork and was ready to leave but we were blocked in by another vehicle. I backed back into the parking spot when one of the ladies that worked there said she would move the vehicle so we could be on our way. She came back within a few minutes moved the vehicle and with a big beautiful smile waved goodbye to us as we left. That truly made my day😇. Trust Auto in my opinion is a great dealership and when I need another vehicle, they will be the first ones I will go to. This is the most reliable car we have ever purchased. Still looks like new. Followed all standard factory service scheduled requirements. 55,000 miles to date. On the second set of tires. 2017 XT5 luxury edition.

2020 Cadillac XT5 review
Got a 2023 identical to this 3 weeks ago. Bought it for retirement road travel. Have had 2 SRXs before. Traded in a sweet 2016 ATS Performance coupe reluctantly. No regrets. Electronics are outstanding. Handles better than the SRX. As peppy and nimble as the ATS. Always GM, never disappointed. Value, comfort, performance.

The XT5 has met all of our expectations in handling, performance and comfort. The 3.6 engine has excellent mileage and power. Interior is very comfortable and stylish. I told my sales rep, Gerard "Cowboy" King I was going to send an email to his manager saying what a good job he did and how professional and friendly he was. But I think it would be better to post a review so everyone could see. My wife and I bought a Chrysler Pacifica PHEV this week. During the sale, we had a bit of a wait because another customer was in the finance office. Cowboy just talked to us like we were old friends. It was nice to meet someone in sales that actually likes their job and seems to enjoy working with the public. Overall I would say this was a positive experience, even after we got a flat tire on our brand new never driven van and had to take a loaner home for a day! After the purchase, we were unsure about how to claim the federal tax credit. Cowboy was instantly messaging us back, connecting us to the right people, emailing us forms, it was great to get such outstanding customer service. He sure knows a lot about these hybrid vans! I am very happy with the van and with the tax credit I think I got a great deal.
2023 Cadillac XT5 review
First of all, I purchased the XT5 Sport AWD with the Platinum package, sticker $69,530. Truthfully, this is a fine ride, and a pleasure to drive. Everything is at your fingertips and easy to use. A couple of items I miss would be the floating high beams that come with intellibeams, the accent lighting in the interior was a nice feature. My final complaint, not enough USB ports. It could use a couple on the dash just below the radio.
