2018 Cadillac XT5 review
We own two XT 5’s 2017 AWD and 2018 FWD. I can not recommend these vehicles more highly. Eight years with the 2017 and no major issues at all. Regular oil changes and have been diligent with manufacturing recommended services. The vehicle is comfortable, reliable and I am keeping it to the end. 78,500 miles by the way. The 2018 is 6 months old with me. I purchased it with 18,000 miles. Just finished having all fluids flushed, plugs changed out and some high quality tires on it, and look for to owning it for the long haul. I am very impressed with these vehicles. They feel solid in inclimate weather, handle exceptionally well and the fit and feel are top notch!

2020 Cadillac XT5 review
Got a 2023 identical to this 3 weeks ago. Bought it for retirement road travel. Have had 2 SRXs before. Traded in a sweet 2016 ATS Performance coupe reluctantly. No regrets. Electronics are outstanding. Handles better than the SRX. As peppy and nimble as the ATS. Always GM, never disappointed. Value, comfort, performance.

I recently completed my due diligence in selecting a new car and selected the new '26 GV70. I visited several dealers and selected So. Bay Genesis. My first visit was OK, but the salesman never followed through. I went back several days later and met David Martinez. I explained that I had visited the dealer before and didn't want to cause any problems, but I sensed that David would be my guy. He answered all my questions and those that he didn't, he said he'd get back to me. As soon as I was home, he called and provided the answers to my questions. He was attentive, and his follow-up was spot on. The process was simple, easy and I received a more than fair price. I would highly recommend David if you’re looking for a sales individual that follows through, answers your questions and is delightful to work with, no pressure! My old car was a Macan S that was great, but the new GV70 (same size) comes with everything, except a trailer hitch, lol. It's an amazing car that is quieter than anything I've ever owned and quick. Go see David, he'll take care of you.

2019 Cadillac XT5 review
The XT5 has met all of our expectations in handling, performance and comfort. The 3.6 engine has excellent mileage and power. Interior is very comfortable and stylish. Yesterday was the 28th anniversary of my partner'suicide. By accident, not design, I ended up having a wonderful day with the folks at Nash. From my first phone calls with Tracy, who answered the phone, I felt completely comfortable. I had picked out a car and a friend of mine in the area went to check it out for me. He was helped by Nadim, who then worked his "okole" (Hawaiian slang) off to get me to come down from L.A. to check out the car. He ran numbers for me and made them work. So, instead of me spending my day in a somber crying jag, I ended up finding and purchasing the car of my dreams. Matt helped answer my finance, warranty, seat cover, car cover questions and Emilio (forgive me I may have this name wrong), showed me all the technical aspects of the car. I know my angel in heaven helped me along the way. And it was a clincher when we turned on teh radio and it was already set to my favorite station KJAZZ. Go figure. Thank you Team Nash for your wonderful attitude, knowledge, tenacity and perseverence to bring the monthly in at an affordable rate for me. I ended up having a terrific day and it was all because of you folks. Can't wiat to start this new chapter in my life!
2019 Cadillac XT5 review
Bought car after lease expired. car is really reliable. No major problems. 1 drawback is not great gas mileage. 3.6 engine is very responsive. Overall good reliable car.

2018 Cadillac XT5 review
I’ve owned 8 vehicles in my lifetime and have driven about 30 different cars, and I can confidently say the 2018 Cadillac XT5 is literally the best-handling car I’ve ever driven. Cadillac has truly mastered the balance between performance, comfort, and luxury with this model. Driving Experience: The handling is exceptional—smooth, responsive, and surprisingly agile for a midsize SUV. Whether on city streets, highways, or winding roads, the XT5 stays composed and feels incredibly secure. The suspension does an excellent job of absorbing bumps while maintaining a sporty, controlled ride. Interior & Comfort: The interior design is second to none. The XT5's cabin is on par with any top luxury brand I’ve encountered. Premium materials like leather seating, soft-touch surfaces, and tasteful accents create a space that feels both stylish and sophisticated. The seats are extremely comfortable, even on longer drives, and there's plenty of room for passengers to stretch out. Features & Amenities: This car comes loaded with luxury-level amenities, yet it’s far more affordable than similar options that can cost 20-30% more. Features like the intuitive infotainment system, touchscreen controls, Bose premium sound system, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration make it feel modern and connected. 2023 Cadillac XT5 review
This is my second XT5. Had a 2017 and never had a problem. Just got my 2023 XT5 Sport, and wow, maybe too much power for a senior citizen, but I love it. A few changes from the 2017, but love the car. I put other vehicles like the Jeep or GMC as beasts, my XT5 is more like a cat, still get where I want to be with luxury.

2019 Cadillac XT5 review
The XT5 is a great car that is quick, comfortable, fun to drive and it stands out from a crowded suv market. There is very little I would change. I like the 310 hp V6, 8 speed transmission and the brakes are smooth while performing quick stops very well. I do not care for the run / stop feature on the XT5 or any car for that matter. The fit and finish were impressive as well.

Got the XT5 Sport from Paul Conte Cadillac in Freeport, great dealership & great car. has nice power and handles well. reminds me of GMC Acadia Denali I used to have. drove the loaner 26 model for a couple of days, and it has much better electronics + heads up display.

2018 Cadillac XT5 review
Previously I had a GM Blazer that was the worst car I’ve ever hard. So I was afraid to buy another GM car. But this 2018 XT5 should be on some kind of special 10 out of 10 list. I found this car on a Cadillac dealer’s lot with only 700 miles on it. I guess I got lucky because in 8 years I had a small AC issue and nothing else! It handles incredibly and never seems to have any issues! I can only hope it continues for another 8 years. It is great!

Comfort in a car is important Smooth driving and pushes power whenever you accelerate. Love it but not the brake recall. My dog looks forward to car rides. She (dog) feels like royalty when she rolls in mama's lac.
