2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser review
I bought a used 2005 chrysler pt cruiser a few years ago. My wife found in in Trenton , NJ. It was a one owner with just over 30,000 miles on it. We only drove it a few blocks, tried the convertible top and was sold on it. I had a small accident a few years ago but it was fixed fantastic like new. I love my car everything works like new and always getting some compliants Inferno Red Black Top Will never sell it!

2011 Volkswagen Eos review
Gertrude was a wonderful car ran to 166,947 miles without any major problems. Most importantly saved myself & stellybelly. On a dark rainy morning we got on the highway not lighted and worn out guide marking not visible in the conditions I was driving in. I lost my bearings didn't know where I was on the highway I thought we were going to go through the guide rail I went left into a semi tractor trailer twice my intial impact & a second impact I was told we spun approximately 8 times & walked away with minor bumps & bruises but WE SURVIVED!

2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse review
There is a reason I keep coming back to these gems. I'm about to purchase my 4th one. I've owned a GS for 10 years and 2 GTs for 7 years. One being a Spyder which I always said was the best car I ever owned. Perfectly balanced, fast, great looks, beatiful paint colors. A blast to drive. The interior lighting and the 650 watt Rockford Fosgate are AMAZING. Everything feels right about the car. And the cost of ownership is great, just basic maintenance. I regretted getting rid of them all (traded 2 for a Vette). After 2 years, I"m going back. Found a Spyder GT in Rave Red and it will arrive soon. I can't wait to drive this gem of a car again!

2008 Audi S4 review
4 years ago I was a pen stroke away from buying a new Ford Fusion. My buddy works at Audi Reno and said come take a look at this car. It was an original owner white 2008 S4 with 68k miles. I read all the reviews and was super skeptical. I was concerned about maintenance and timing chain issues. After driving it and feeling those Recaro seats and sound of that sweet NA V8 I decided that life is short and to take the risk. Here we are 4 years later and that risk certainly paid off. The S4 has been an absolute pleasure to own and to drive as a daily commuter. They look sick, that V8 will always put a smile on your face, it eats corners alive, and has all the power you could ever want. The Quattro AWD makes the S4 a dream to drive in the snow and makes it a practical choice for certain climates. I've put 40k miles on it over the last 4 years and not a single problem outside of regular maintenance which for a now dated car, is hardly more expensive than your non euro Ford Fusion for example. My friend is actually the head mechanic at Audi Reno and he said the later years of this model.. 07 and particularly the 08 are pretty solid. 08 was the last year they made that model and they had worked out a lot of the kinks. He also said that with dilligent regular maintenance he has seen these cars get to 200k miles without timing chain issues. IMO the biggest "risk" you take by far is related to gas prices. It's a F****** gas guzzler. Take it easy you will be lucky to get 12 MPG. Put it in sport mode you are certainly under 10MPG. This is definitely the main drawback for me. You will find yourself at the pump more than you would like! Having said that, you should take the risk and buy this car given the following: it has a proper service history, you have had it looked at by a mechanic who knows these cars, and a willingness to pay at the pump. If those are all true... take the risk and buy it!!! For me the S4 has been amazing. The sound of that NA V8 with the windows down on a nice summer day.. Doesn't get much better than that!!!!

2005 Porsche Boxster review
I have had 3 Boxster s over the years and this one for over 10. Loved every minute driving it. Great pick up and handling plus two trunks to allow for hauling things. A real head turner. Just need to maintain it for it to keep running well. I'm only selling mine cause we moved down a dirt road and its too rutted for a sports car. I got it for a great price, so letting it go for thousands less than it's blue book.

2012 BMW 128 review
I have had convertibles since 1975. 68 Camaro, 76 Jeep CJ5, 92 Chrysler LeBaron GTS, 96 BMW 328iC, 06 Pontiac Solstice and now the 12 BMW 128i. Retired in 2017 and had to feed the desire for another convertible in 2019 and the 128i ticked all the boxes for my current desires. Fit and reliability. At 6'1" I don't fit into a MX5, so that's the 1st two check offs. RWD, so no Audi, A4 FWD in my price range. Six cylinder preferably straight 6 for perfect engine balance. Nissan 350/370 are ugly chops. Then the exotics(shut up Porsche boys) were too expensive for repairs. I learned "basic" repairs on the E36. I have done many easy maintenance jobs in my garage that allows me to have this Touring car. As a touring car having a back seat is great for a cooler, backpack, and doggy space. Khalid is good, but Tyson Mercedes is greedy. Khalid wore a sharp tailored suit which is unheard of in the dealerships where I am from. He was very professional, pointing out flaws in the paint he offered to fix before I could point out the ones I saw. He respected my time which was less than ideal for making a purchase today. We made a handshake on a good deal, but it's been over 6 hours and I still haven't seen my "deal" in writing with an out the door quote. As far as Tyson Mercedes, the vehicle which was just "front end aligned" last week had one tire about 5-6 pounds low, and this was not noticed with the yellow light on the dash when it was pulled around for me earlier in the day. The test drive was not safe to conduct other than around the corner and back at slow speed, so I have no idea how it really handles. The biggest issue I have is the dealership assessing a "non-negotiable" sky-high processing fee which is nearly $1000, probably among the highest in Virginia. It doesn't cost $1000 for the 15 minutes of work it takes to process the sale and send the documents to DMV, etc. If they want this kind of fee, they should be selling vehicles $1000 below market value, and not even bothering marking them up $3000 over market value! Be prepared to negotiate $3000-4000 down just to get to the market price on a used vehicle! After you get to market price, make them take off some of the $1000 processing fee from the sale price or walk off the lot and go buy the same thing from another dealer who only charges $500 or less in processing fees. If it's taxable, it's negotiable! Do your research and use online tools to know the market value before you visit any dealership!

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Thank you to Kirk, Kevin, J.C. and Country Chevrolet. My wife and I are enjoying this wonderful dream car thanks to the efforts of a great Chevy team.

It is a classy and peppy sport coup. I find, despite its size, there is a lot of headroom. The sound system is not good though and if you want to update it to an aftermarket system good luck: requires a complete rewire.
