2016 BMW 650 review
I wanted a year around convertible grand tourer with a back seat and a useable trunk that was fun and comfortable to drive. I looked for six months and having given up on other brands I finally turned to BMW. The 650xi always puts a smile on my face especially with the top down. Depending on your previous vehicle it may take some getting used to, however. It is "low rider" and while there are more seat controls than a pilots control panel, you may not find the right seating arrangement initially. The car is second nature to me now and very comfortable in every way. The more options your 650 has, the more you will continue to find new features continually. I purchased the car used and have had it for 18 months and appreciate it every time I drive it. It's good in the snow and l always feel safe in it. The convertible top is not as insulated from sound as I would like for highway driving but other than that I have no complaints. It is a satisfying vehicle.

I own a super low mileage 2008 GT500. The car is quick but needs “sticky tires” off the line. It’s 100% stock except for tires and has a bit over 8000 miles on it. Don’t get me wrong, as I don’t beat the car but drive it with respect.

2009 MINI Cooper S review
I've not driven it yet, but we investigated everything from the variable valve system to the turbo charger and watched a video of a complete teardown of the engine. Buying a car here was efficient, direct and a pleasure. The folks we dealt with, Viviana G., Anthony R. and Jake S. were honorable, delivered what they promised and conducted business in a very professional manner. There was no bait and switch, no misrepresentation and no false promises. Everything promised was delivered and it all was done in a cheerful and cooperative manner. When it was time to deliver my Lamborghini Huracan, Bernardo V. was outstanding. He explained every detail taking time but not too much time. I was treated like royalty from the time I drove into the service area until the time we drove the car off the lot. Folks at this dealership understand time is money (for me and for them) and they don't want to fool around if you are just a Lookey Lou! I like details and like to document my cars and I went to an extreme in asking questions about this car's history. Every single question was answered in detail and done without a single complaint. When any bumps arose in the process (I'm in Massachusetts and the car was titled in NY) they were straightened out quickly and the paper process was totally covered. I really appreciate the positive attitude displayed, the willingness to negotiate when it was appropriate but also the direct discussion when the bottom line numbers had been reached. I don't write a lot of reviews but Manhattan MC deserves every word of praise you read above.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

2018 Chevrolet Camaro review
I have a 2018 SS a d I love it. With 455 hp and 455 lb ft through a 6 speed manual and quad exhaust, 8" screen, deluxe instruments, full LED/ HID lighting, spoiler, splitter, diffuser, K&N filter, tinted windows, and a Pioneer TS-WX1210A powered sub it rocks inside and out. Great car.

2021 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
This is my second Miata. I also own an ‘03 NB and have put a lot into it over the years. I’ve eyeballed ‘16+ Miatas for years and finally found a ‘21 Grand Touring with 2k miles on it and bought it. Aesthetically, it is a beautiful car. Ergonomically, everything is in its proper place and I fit perfectly at 6’. I have the seat pushed all the way back so anyone taller could possibly find themselves uncomfortable. I swapped the original rims and tires out for some Konig rims and Continental all-season tires. The stock rims are 7” wide and the aftermarket are 8” wide: more traction on the road. Off the line, you can chirp the tires so the power is certainly adequate. The manual gear box is tight and shifts cleanly. It is an extremely fun, nimble, and reliable car. The Grand Touring has the leather, backup camera, and Bose stereo. I have driven this car hard through the “twisties” and cruised it 500 miles with no reservations. There isn’t anything really needing done to this car; it is a fantastic ride out of the box. I did, however, give the performance a “4” because I know there is room for growth with aftermarket products. Nevertheless, you won’t be disappointed. Be careful though! My buddy wrecked his ‘19 Miata RF two weeks ago pushing it just a little too hard.
