2002 Ford Thunderbird review
A beautiful automobile gift from my beautiful wife on 6/2/23. I’ve been searching for a tbird and a friend told me to call and see if this guy was willing to sell one of 3 Tbirds he had. Little did I know in a few hours I’d be the new owner of Dale Jarrett’s personal Tbird with only 6,842 miles on it. His signature is on the dash and also his personal leather racing jacket signed. Needless to say it handles like new and has new car smell. We drove it from Charlotte NC to Charleston SC and couldn’t believe how it performed handled and rode. It’s definitely an eye catcher. The hardtop was easy to remove with 2 people. It would have been nice if it would have been designed to retract into the trunk. But mine came with hoist to attach to garage ceiling which made it very easy. I’m 100% satisfied and happy with my new Tbird.

2002 Ford Thunderbird review
In 2002 they sold over MSRP adjusted for inflation @$54K in todays money- pricier than the 2002 Corvette and sold like 30,000 that year. I think that new car buyer had to probably be searching for the 1955 Thunderbird experience to shell out that kind of cash, and most people born on the 60’s and 70’s just didn’t understand that appeal. Oddly, the demographic that did BABIED their cars, kept up maintenance, have all the original tools and covers (just try and find that T-handle wrench for the hard top for example) when you get lucky enough to get a shot at buying one of these babies cars you’ll find they’re sharp and quick, amazingly so despite what people someone lent one to to write about said 20 years ago. Shod with 17inch tires 🛞 and solid suspension, people can complain about the horsepower being light, but stomp it and it will jump, zoom and weave solidly with the best of them. My drive home from buying this car was a blast. Will other sports models eke out slightly better speed, power and performance over these 20 year old T-birds? Sure, why not. Does it matter if you’re not at Road Atlanta? No. For me, this a sleeper sports car that’s about to bust onto the scene and see its reputation finally living up to the 2002 Car of the Year Award Motor Trend gave it. I think you need to find one of these babied sweethearts like I did. It’s a blast to find a good one and discover what an under rated blast it is to drive. Can’t really call it super nimble, but I respect mines solid ride and reasonably quick response & rocket like performance. The incredibly clean lines scream style visually and I suggest that a 2 tone leather optional interior is worth an extra $1K (over the basic. $11-12 K value) a hard top/rack/tonneau cover intact is worth another grand. ($13-14K total seems fair generally for a babied one). Check the rubber suspension parts underneath (inside the front wheel well behind the tire) is the easiest one to check quickly for rot w/o getting under the rear).

2015 MINI Roadster review

2013 BMW 328 review
Have had 5 3 series`, and I wont drive anything else, starting with a `78 323. Love the whole layout, including the battery...surprising power for a 4 cylinder. My last was an inline 6, and this is far quicker. I`m 6 ft tall, and the back seat is , well, a back seat. You have as much legroom as the front seaters allow, but even with the front seats pulled a few inches forward, there is still ample room in front (and back). Only drawback? The shift into second can be a little abrupt, that`s about it. Thx.

2016 BMW 228 review
2016 BMW 228i xdrive convertible. The best part: reliability. We are approaching 94k miles and we've had no issues with this car. It feels solid, which is remarkable for a convertible. Everything works just as it should with just routine maintenance. I have only three complaints: the sport seats are my number one complaint. The seat has great lumbar support and is supportive, but the side bolsters on the seat cushion are rock hard and hurt my hips. I have to use a pad to raise myself up a little to ease the pain. The 2nd complaint, and this is worth noting, in comfort mode the throttle can be slow to react. This is so bad it got me rear ended once because the car simply did nothing for several seconds when I pressed the pedal down. Sport mode cures this. Lastly, it requires premium gas. Ford and others get similar horsepower results with regular gas, so I think BMW should be able to also.

2004 Ford Thunderbird review
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my 2003 Canary Yellow Ford Thunderbird!!! Believe me when I tell you that when it came to performance, style and comfort - I couldn't have made a better choice in a Roadster! I was 50 years old when I purchased my 17k miles beauty and sold it 16 years later..after clocking a total of 256k miles. What else can I say? 2016 BMW 428 review
Car drives well. I recommend driving it in Sport mode. The Eco feature and start and stop will wear out the starter. Also, the braking is hard on this car. You cannot ease into a stop. It is like it does not want to stop and you have to press the pedal harder than normal.

2008 Pontiac Solstice review
I absolutely love my Solstice GXP. It's got all the pep you could ever want,it handles & corners like it's on rails! I laugh everytime I see & easily pass Miata's,what a joke they are. I see people complaining about no storage space with these cars! Yes a little more space would be nice but that's what my truck is for. I go every 2 weeks & get groceries & supplies & I spend between $250-$400 and i can get it all in the car. And there are big items in there like 2 cases of pop,a big pail of Cat litter (the 35 lb. pail) and lots of other items. 12 rolls of paper towels, I do use the passenger & floor too but I can get it all in there. I also see people complain about cup holders,and somewhere to put change. The guy in Delaware. There are pockets on the front of both seats,rear of them too. Also the cup holder on the passenger side of console by their left knee,as well as the 2 behind your right elbow. If it bothers you that much buy the aftermarket cup holder for these cars! I'm 6 ft tall & don't have any sight problems he complained about,my Solstice has a power seat button that raises & lowers the drivers seat (only) not forward & back. The button is between your knees more on the left side. I had my car for almost 3 yrs before I discovered this. LOL I took the seat out to install some wiring for the interior lighting I put in,that's when I saw it. The only thing I can complain about is the location of the power window buttons. When I rest my right arm I accidentally hit the buttons and the windows go down. But that's not a big deal. Besides this winter when I put the car away I'm going to relocate them to the center console behind the shifter,because I can! The stereo system is quite impressive for a factory unit. I've had several thousand dollar Alpine,Nakamichi,ADS,Eclipse,Denon systems in my cars thru the years & this is comparable. Could use another subwoofer,to really get the bass i want. But it rocks! My brother always says I can't believe that's a factory system!!!. I love my Solstice. Everywhere I go i get asked what kind of car it is,how fast it is,and they love the color,Mean Yellow! I get alot of looks,especially when I get out of it because this spring i installed the Lamborghini door kit. So people really freak out when they see that. I think for giggles I'm going to buy either Lamborghini or Ferrari emblems to put on it. LOL I did tgat on a Dodge Neon i had years ago, i put Chevy emblems on it. 2007 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
I bought my 2007 SLK 280 used in 2022. I had it inspected and knew ahead of time I was going to have to put another $5k into it to make it right and how I wanted. So far I’m very happy with the car and am glad I spent the money. Great combination of being sporty, luxurious and roomy. I initially was considering buying a used Porsche Boxster but I’m 6’4” and it was too cramped and the interior looked and felt cheap to me. My SLK just looks and feels very high quality and it is so much fun to drive. I put in an upgraded radio with touch screen, usb, CarPlay etc. made in China that was made to match the existing accessories (highly recommend). The car is in such good condition people think it’s new. I’m always looking for excuses to drive it and can’t wait to get in it. It has a top speed of 155. I have had it up to 130 and it’s solid as a rock. The Germans make their cars autobahn ready.

2010 BMW 335 review
We’ve always been a BMW loving family and the recent purchase of this 10 year old car did not disappoint. Exceptional interior and exterior quality that has stood up over 10 years. Still looks new. 1996 Jaguar XJS review
Have had my 96 xhs celebration for 28 years. Intense red with beautiful contrast piping on the seats. Never had a mechanical issue. Bullet proof. Shifts flawlessly! Suspension is great and something no one talks about…… little to no road noise or annoying wind shuddering! Im getting buried in it!

2003 BMW Z4 review
I've owned my 2003 3.0i 6sp E85 for almost 9 years. Equipped w/ M Sport option, 18" staggered alloys and painted in a beautiful Toledo Blue. Yes the car has need some maintenance, some worn parts replaced, but nothing too surprising or extraordinary expensive aside from tires. I'm in my 60's and still do most of my own work. Love the ride, the style, 6sp manual transmission, the power, the smoothness of the car in general. Would I recommend this car? Only to those that love a car that YOU want to drive. NO AI frills to distract one. Just a pure driving experience.

My 2005 SLK 350 has 250,000 km and it runs very well and the body is clean (no rust). There is a small oil leak but that is to be expected for a car with this milage. Overall, I love this car.

2013 BMW 335 review
The F30 design when not M Sport is muted, but when you get the M Sport package and all the goodies, it becomes the sports car that BMW intended. It just hit 100,000 and is starting to show wear with rattles from the dashboard and an increase in road/wind noise due to aging weatherstripping. Easy fix! I can say that with FBO that this car has been reliable - nothing major has broken and left me stranded. Sure, due to adding more power it has gone through spark plugs faster but you pay for that when you give it ~70hp more than factory. After upgrading the clutch and cooling system, I am completely worry free on this vehicle. If you want a comfortable cruiser, this car is not it. If you want a sports car, this is what you go for. They can be equipped with most any tech feature one would like - from HUD, Navigation, Parking Distance Control, Bluetooth, etc

1998 Jaguar XK8 review
I purchased my black on black coupe in 2005 when it had 32000 miles and have driven it sparingly. Today it has only just over 37000 and it has been almost flawless! I did have to replace a headlight washer at the dealer when I first bought it (expensive), but she hasn't been back to the dealer since. I replace the oil with Mobil 1 full synthetic every 6 months and use Sonoco 93 premuim gas. The car runs great, makes no unwanted noises, and has no rust or corrosion whatsoever. Ford did a great job with these. I also have a 2006 Mercedes SL500 and they drive very similarly with almost the same horsepower (300). I have never felt that I neded anything more. These cars are well engineered and will surely appreciate in value over time!

Great car, very fast, smooth, and quiet. Long doors can be hard to get out in a parking lot. The only thing I have a problem with is the electrics, setting the clock time, or resetting mileage. The car's phone is also out of date, and not usable.

2018 FIAT 124 Spider review
I bought my 2018 Red Fiat 124 Lusso 6 spd manual with 5000 km on the odometer so it was pretty much a new car and it looked new. This is the most fun to drive car I have over owned and at age 73 I have owned plenty of cars over my years. It looks like an Italian roadster should look with long front hood with a short rear deck and looks aggressive. It handles beautifully and takes corners with absolute accuracy plus no surprises. This isn’t a vehicle so see often on the streets so it really attracts attention and is a real conversation starter. I have never owned a car that attracts people and positive comments like this 124 does. For me this isn’t my everyday driver but it is what I drive when I want to have fun. The trunk is big enough that my wife and I have done 2 week outings and can easily fit enough in the trunk. It is reliable and I highly recommend it.
