I had no intention of getting a different car but when I went in to R-B Honda to get an oil change, they offered me MUCH more for my trade-in (2020 Honda CR-V) than I thought possible. Surely that's a misprint, I thought. I had been vaguely considering a hybrid and the trade-in offer put me over the edge. I wanted a new one, but when there were no models with the features I wanted. Then they offered me a "Certified pre-owned" model with all the bells and whistles, and I jumped. Matt Smith is a very friendly guy and we had a lot of common interests, so he was easy to work with. Being "up in years", I assume this will be my last vehicle purchase, and the process was great.
2015 Jeep Patriot review
Off the lot, amazing! I call it Dino.. because it’s eco green and it has an antenna! I have purchased a few vehicles off the lot. Dino is cool. Well I did like my Chevy S10- bench seat, was the best I ever bought off the lot! Jeep Patriot 2015 an amazing vehicle as well!

2013 Volkswagen Passat review
This was one of my favorite cars I test drove, but also one of the base models. It has a huge trunk and tons of room for a car seat or 2. Gets an average of 38-40mpg which is awesome for my driving to and from work.

2012 Subaru Impreza review
Purchased this car used in 2023. Right from the start had issues with the A/C compressor. It went out and I had it replaced with a used one to save a bit and it immediately went out again after a week. Mistakenly, I had an another used compressor put in and it proceeded to essentially blow up and damage my battery and belts. I guess there is an issue with the part for this model year. Otherwise I have not had any crazy issues other than regular maintenance costs. I absolutely love this car for its storage ability. It's small enough to handle city driving and small parking spots, but large enough to fit everything you need to carry. I fit all of my furniture and belongings in this car when moving. As for comfort, the heated seats are a great feature, however, I do find the seats gets quite uncomfortable after driving for more than a few hours. I drive this car back and forth to work daily and have no problem with its performance. Gets pretty good gas mileage for mostly city trips (24mpg). You can feel each and every bump that this car goes over, but it's not anything unbearable.

2015 Dodge Grand Caravan review
Just purchased another used Grand Caravan, this is the sixth one over past number of years, found it to be a very reliable and versatile vehicle. Always managed to get 300,000 Klm on each one, never had any major issues other then brakes and normal maintanence . Just purchased 2015 and in excellent condition given the year but is in Limp mode with code P1745 showing on meter. Just hoping it's under a recall , sure would like to get mobile again.

2007 Toyota Camry review
My grandma drove this car off the lot, brand new. Has been a great car. After a few years it was passed on to my mom, then my dad, and now me. I’ve driven this car for 3 years now but unfortunately there is too much maintenance to be done for the money. Around 160k miles for us it has had minimal issues so I’d say it’s a great car. It started when we got back from a trip and one of the cylinders were misfiring (which was a spark plug and an easy fix). Around 170k miles we were driving it and it ended up overheating. We got it towed and it ended up being the water pump going out (as well as the serpentine belt needing to be replaced). After that we drove it for a few weeks but it started running rough, then we went to go home from work one night and it was idling super rough so we drove it home and decided not to use it until we could get it towed to a mechanic. It was blowing out lots of white smoke. Turns out the head gasket has blown (which we think was from the overheating done originally). Car has officially made it to 173k miles. We were hoping more but it’s not horrible considering. Something to look out for is this also burns a lot of oil. Be sure to check it often, every two weeks depending on how much you drive. Wish the engine had a recall or something for that issue. Overall great car but from my reading, don’t get a 2007-2013 if used since these are the years for oil consumption issues.

2013 Chrysler 200 review
This is my daily drive. Bought new in 2014 and have 93,000 miles. The car itself is gorgeous and looks sporty. For the time, this was luxury. Drives smooth, looks nice, interior has nice features, but in 2024 it is definitely 'dated' to say the least. No back up cameras, no drive assist or passing vehicle warnings, and no touch screen apps like the new vehicles have. But the heated seats work well, the AC is great, and it's fast and smooth. Don't get me wrong. I love my car. I've babied my car. The review of the vehicle is positive and I'd buy it again. But here are my complaints: 1. There is a huge delay between putting your foot down and getting those RPMs up. Response time is slow. This is definitely electronically intended. 2. For some reason, the window wipers fail. Been that way since day 1. Maybe this was a fault model. But it doesn't last long. Likely just a one off. 3. The battery and the serpentine belt are hidden behind the wheel well. It means you either have the tools and time at home, or you bring it into a shop. The design is ridiculous. 4. The spacers between the back windows deteriorate. I am not sure why its made of some different material than the rest of the exterior and window, but it's definitely a design flaw. Sadly, there arent many other vehicles, at least in 2024 that come close to the quality and design of the 2013 Chrysler 200 Limited with the same or similar price tag. Instead you're looking at vehicles 2-4x the price. I've enjoyed it a lot. I've received plenty of compliments over the years. Hopefully it will last me another 10 years. At 93,000 miles and now 12 years old, I've only had to replace the front rotors, the struts, and stabilizer bar.

2002 Toyota ECHO review
My 2002 Echo has high mileage of over 335k yet it runs great, reliable and I just drove from Boston area to Venice Florida with no issues. I am in my 70's now. I call it my Grammie car as there is room for all to go out for ice cream or whatever. I recently told my mechanic nephew that I was looking to buy another with less mileage but he said to keep this one, good for 500k!

1995 Cadillac Seville review
I purchased my 95 Seville SLS from an older couple for $800 with a bad water pump. $1,000 later I was turning heads with new plates on my Caddy, purring down the road. I was skeptical of the Northstar engine and overall reliability of Cadillac as I purchased a 1986 with the 4.1L engine and was highly disappointed to say the least.....worst engine ever!! I knew overheating would be a problem so I did research on the Northstar; use high quality parts and fluids (especially coolant and oil), use failsafe thermostats and make sure the engine fan works. Just keep up on maintenance to prevent any overheating by having your mechanic inspect it every 5k. Even an average mechanic can work on a 1995.......the Northstar has proven worthy as am from Oregon and have driven to California twice to car shows with no issues but I won't anymore, it's too old and a classic. These cars are still head turners after 25 years and the Northstar still outperforms most engines with it's combination of power and economy. If I drive lightly in the city I get 22mpg, 28 on the highway using cruise. If you have a nice engine keep it tuned and supplement with additives and this car will keep a smile on your face. Single guys women love Caddys!! Get you one.

2012 Acura TL review
I bought my car in 2016 with 40k miles on it. I've owned it for 9 years and it now has 183k miles on it! The engine still purs like a kitten after all these years. Great car, very fast, smooth, and quiet. Long doors can be hard to get out in a parking lot. The only thing I have a problem with is the electrics, setting the clock time, or resetting mileage. The car's phone is also out of date, and not usable.

2010 Mazda Mazda6 review
I absolutely cannot say anything for positive feedback about this vehicle. I purchased (used) a 2010 Mazda 6. This by far is the best vehicle I ever owned. No mechanical issues at all! I’ve owned it for 5 years and then passed it on to my son. I want it back! Only had to replace occasional brakes pads and stay up with oil changes. Mazda is amazing and I hope one day I will be able to afford a new one. I highly recommend. Safety is top notch in my book.

2003 GMC Envoy review
Great vehicle. I purchased it at 200,000 miles for $1,500 and I’m still using it at 245,000 miles. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the engine stalling with no mechanics being able to solve the problem. It’s the catalytic converter. It clogs and the exhaust fumes can’t escape. You can disconnect the exhaust section with the catalytic converter and drive it around to see if that is the problem. I can’t tell you how to fix it but I’ll just say I get 2 mpg more now that I “fixed” it and my Envoy smells like a boat.

2007 Pontiac Vibe review
I owned one from 2007 until 2023. Probably the best car I ever had. I traded it in on a Corolla Cross, but if I could find a factory fres 2007 Vibe, I' d buy it. The only oddity was thst I had to replace two bad water pumps, and serpentine belt. The new Corolla has too much infotainment gadgetry, and a poorly written manual by comparion.

2012 Volkswagen Touareg review
The car was bought four years ago 50 miles later have had minor problems. The beauty of the trip Tronic transmission in this model has gear oil, for life, not ATF. At 125,000 miles it shifts like new. I’ll probably be buried at it when that time arrives !!

1997 Chrysler Sebring review
I've owned this Sebring/convertible. I drove it to the end. It was my great vehicle from 07 until 2007. I've gotten many admirers when out in traffic. Mostly ladies of every culture and age. As everyone has said,” this ride was not a headache. Keep her up regularly with your mechanic and she will do her thing. It does sit very low and thus wasn't good for a back problem. It is roomy with a deep trunk. A slick paint job and a new audio system, and this girl will give some lucky person a great first car. Btw, the sound/ speakers are wicked for being stock.

2012 Toyota Prius review
This car was purchased as a gift for my son to use to travel to his job out of town. He has a lease and I didn’t want him to rack up miles on his other car/lease. Christopher was an excellent sales consultant during a busy year-end with a more complicated sale that required shipping the vehicle out of state to a rather picky buyer (me). Compared to another dealer I contacted this experience was “night and day”. I’d definitely recommend others to consider working with this dealership at least for the sales experience. I particularly enjoyed the fact that Chris found another RSX driver amongst the White Bear employees to perform a brief road test of my eventual car to set my mind at some ease for a real-world experience. They also were fairly cooperative about most of my requests to “seal the deal” (minor touch-up/clean up items). My only suggestions would be to see about hastening the shipping experience if that’s even possible and put a bit more effort into detail of the car before listing for sale - the car had been in their hands for a couple of months and just needed a couple small detail items to make it close to perfect for selling a 20+ year old vehicle (these were the items I had to request at time of negotiation). Nice work overall - just looking forward to the shipper to arrive that will be a great day!

2012 Volkswagen Routan review
I purchased my van over 10.5 years ago and it had 14k on it. Its now has 167k miles and still working fine. Had to replace the trans, engine mounts (2 times), and a couple of other things - I think I have spent about $6.5k since I purchased it. But over all it has been a great family van. The backup camera has stopped working consistently and the front seats are waren but other than that it’s great. It’s now time to replace it as I’m having trouble getting it to pass its smog but overall it’s been a great car and would recommend - drives great

2014 Chrysler Town & Country review
Bought my T&C 2014 used in 2016 with 110K miles or maybe less. I still have my T&C in great condition. I thought of exchanging it for the new Pacifica. But, no comperising to the T&C, roomy, comfort seats and smooth ride. Yes, you got to maintain the car in order to function great. No major, issues and I'll keep it until gives it's all.
