Used Ford Expedition for sale under $7,000 near me

My wife and I recently purchased a 2025 Subaru Crosstrek from Grayson Subaru. Our salesman, Jay Kadlec, was extremely knowledgeable about the Crosstrek. Mine is an XLT Version. 5.4 V8. Replaced the throttle body at 112 000 miles. Alternator at 150000 miles Complete paint job at 225000. It's a very reliable vehicle. I do regular maintenance at Ford dealership at 5000 miles. I've been pulling a bass boat for 15 years with no problems with transmission or electrical. It's been a great people hauler for routine 1000 mile vacations. JD

If I could give 100-star review for Tracy, I would!!! I had to get some things done on my Sentra that was covered under warranty, and she provided me a loner car until mine was serviced. She is the BEST and I will only schedule appointments with her. She is what customer service should always be. I have been going here since I bought my first Sentra in 2016 and even though I purchased my new Sentra in Florida I still will only go to Kelly Nissan because of Tracy. I purchased this vehicle in December 2014 with 66K miles on it and the 5.4L V-8.. I immediately serviced my Expedition with AMSOIL products. With the exception of normal maintenance items (Brakes, spark plugs etc.), this vehicle has been entirely trouble free. have had ZERO maintenance issues, check engine lights, etc. on this truck at all, and 5+ years later it now has 221K miles. Mostly road miles between my home and in Flagler County and my shop in Ocala, and my daughters home in Pensacola. Average gas mileage was between 18-20mpg without a tow load, 15-16mpg with a tow load. Not bad for a large SUV. I just recently purchased a 2014 Navigator with 70K miles and also the 5.4L. Other than being a stickler for routine maintenance, this vehicle has not been babied in any way. The dependability of this engine and drive train has been second to none in my experience, which is why I purchased this SUV as it is the last year of the 5.4L. I have classic cars and towed them with my Expedition. Great towing vehicle as well. Of course, it is all about how folks take care of their vehicles, but I have nothing but praise for the 2014 Expedition. So if you are looking for a large SUV I don't feel you can go wrong with a Ford Expedition.

I’ve owned a 2008 Expedition for 10 yrs. Lots of space, good power, and in the snow it’s great. Mine is a later build engine with the newer spark plug design, no problems there. I would have bought another Expedition but a pickup truck fits me better nowadays, but now and then I miss the Expedition.

Trustworthy | Honest | Professional. Some of the best customer service I have ever seen from any business. They went above and beyond to make sure I was able to purchase the pickup I wanted. I was traveling from out of state and they were able to take a deposit to hold the vehicle, kept great communication throughout the process and literally pick me up from the airport. I've owned my 2011 Expedition XLT regular wheelbase since 2012 (leftover). Basic cloth seats, manual A/C and heavy duty towing. This SUV has been super reliable. Preventative maintenance and I do all myself. Oil at 5k using Ford blend 5-20 for 100k and now 5-30. 3rd set of plugs and 2nd set of coils. This is the brown plug boot engine which I believe all 2008+ Expeditions use. Trans fluid changed at 60k, 110k and now ready. Front brakes have been replaced many times as it's just the way these brake. No problem as I do it myself but some may not like this. Liftgate the usual paint peeling and I don't care. Hood also has some under the front and think the bug shield has prevented it from peeling in the top of the hood. I just added a nice touchcreen with back up camera since the green LED radio got real dim. I plan on driving this one for another couple yrs and up to at least 200k. It appears the 2010-12 are overall very reliable and since they have a steep depreciation, not bad to pick one up. Not IF AND ONLY IF the oil was maintained with proper and FREQUENT oil changes! The 2008+ Ford 5.4L 3Valve in general is a decent engine ONLY IF THE OIL has been changed!!! If not, set aside $7k for an engine swap.

This is a comfortable, reliable and very safe SUV. This is our second Ford Expedition in our family. We had our last Expedition for 17 years (a 2003) and are now ready to get a newer one.

I went to a few dealership on Saturday with my wife looking for a car for my college bound son. We were both impressed with Arko and how kind and easy going they were. A few places we went to didn't even bother to come out and say hello. When we told Arko we weren't looking to purchase quite yet he still gave us the same attention as he did when he thought he'd maybe have a sale that day. We will for sure be back.

Original owner, with 327,2480 miles. Would buy a new one, but the old interior is nicer and the windows aren't shrunk down so small. I'll drive this car until I cannot drive any longer. The Triton V8 is the best engine ever, drives great in snow, just a reliable, comfortable, great SUV. We've been everywhere in this car. The outside design looks better than the newer ones, too.

Mine has 240K. Burns no oil and no leaks! Has been well maintained i.e. full synthetic lubricants, transmission service intervals maintained etc. Paint has held up remarkably. The fuel injection is so perfect there is no soot in the tale pipe after 19 years.

Currently own a black 2013 expedition XL 4WD. It's a solid, reliable SUV on a truck frame but with very smooth ride quality. Tons of cargo space, I fit a 7 foot couch in XL, which is the smaller version. Powerful V8 runs good and sounds like a diesel. Only downsides it's not great on gas mileage compared to newer cars and interior and exterior starts wearing out in typical Ford fashion

Perfect 10 was a great place to deal with when buying. We had our 2013 GMC Acadia totalled we saw one there that was really great shape for the price they held it for almost a month before the insurance settlement thank you

Comfortable, ample power, very reliable, quiet, and spacious. This is the best version of the Triton V8 Ford ever had. Not overbearing but just rugged enough. Definitely a tough vehicle. Very safe driving the family around in it. The best vehicle for camping trips. Traded it in and I still miss it. Just don't miss the constant maintenance on things like power window issues, power seat issues, etc. Would I buy it again? Yes, if the price is low enough, I'm considering getting another one again just for camping or road trips.

Negatives: (1) gas mileage (12mpg), (2) Interior is spacious and nice, but higher quality materials like leather or real wood would be the cherry on top. Positives: everything else. (1) Huge, 8 people or a ton of furniture, groceries or other items fit. I don’t think they make a larger vehicle. (2) style. It just ages well—simple, rugged, and refined. (3) power. I regularly accelerate faster than 99% of cars on the road and it doesn’t even tax the engine (maybe 2.5K RPMs). Handles 90MPH like it’s idling and a breeze. (4) the Factory sound system is amazing (I put in a Timbaland CD of “Bounce” and literally was shook by the bass. (5). It’s still a Large SUV, but it handles like a dream. My dad’s Chrysler Concorde was more cumbersome. (6) Has never left me stranded (though I did have to replace the serpentine belt, $250, she got me home). (7) there are so many that anytime you need a part it’s not only immediate available, used, but is at a dirt cheap price. (8) long lasting. It’s the 3rd longest lasting vehicle in the world. I even have an older one about to hit 300K miles. This 2005 has 200K and no signs of aging. Paint and performance are perfect. Interior looks showroom still (no cracks, worn parts, etc).

I regret selling mine. I keep multiple trucks at once and this is the most reliable one I ever had. In the last 5 years I've owned a Ram,Denali, Yukon SLT and a Suburban. My favorite truck was the Expedition.

I bought my 2007 limited new and drove it until 2020. Only put 120k miles on it. Only had a few issues- starter and a needed tune up. I sold it to my son in law. Great truck, comfortable, power, and lots of room. Very reliable and great in snow. It has served them well and has only needed a few repairs. I bought a certified 2018 expedition limited and it is great also. Gas mileage is so much better with the turbo V6

My parents bought this a few months after I was born. Since then, it's been on numerous trips to Florida, the northeast, and Ohio. It hauls trailers and people with ease. It's only had a few issues over it's lifespan due to it's age. It's super easy to work on too. I currently use it to commute to school and work. The gas mileage may not be the best (it's a V8 from the 90's), but it's tolerable. The Triton V8 runs and sounds great. It feels a lot younger than it is. Overall, the 1997 - 2003 Expeditions are great cars for those who want a powerful workhorse of a car.
