McGovern Ford of Framingham review
Great service led to car purchase
December 21, 2019
By Phaedrus from Framingham, MA
Framingham Ford (FF) maintained my 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid for years. As parts grew scarce, they scavaged the country for the needed parts and provided free loaner cars. When the exhaust system finally broke (a bit), instead of charging me an arm and a leg, they said "Go to Speedy or Midas!" They don't squeeze you for every dollar. The Service dept has always been professional and courteous.
Wife and I investigated replacement vehicles; considered the CR-V, Forester, and the 2020 Escape. As I liked my 2006 hybrid, I wanted to wait for the new one. Glad I did.
Framingham Ford (FF) made the purchase easy. Their employees---including Jerry, Rocket, Tim, and Mike, were all great to deal with.
My wife, who has always hated the car-buying experience, felt relaxed during the purchase process.
As for the price---One can't expect a steep discount for an in-demand new model, and FF still gave me enough of a discount to please me.
Great sales and service. That's what one wants from a dealer.
2020 Ford Explorer ST review
The most reliable SUV I have ever, ever driven.

Owns this car
I currently own a 2020 Ford Explorer XLT (used, bought with 50k miles). Before this I used to own a 2015 BMW X3 Xdrive28i. Now people reading this would be astounded to hear such a bad review for a german luxury vehicle. IT. WAS. TRASH. Sorry, BMW fanboys, but that is true.
Anyways, coming back to the Explorer, it was a lot, lot better. Better mileage, Better comfort, A ton of space to even pack up to 5 large suitcases and five big boxes with only the third row down. Considerable performance and power for a massive three row SUV, compared to a “apocalypse ready, tough and rugged” Jeep Wrangler.
Very sturdy car, fun to drive around. And really handy when you’re like me who decided to hit the road from Miami, FL to Cypress, TX (😁). I was worried whether evreything would fit in, but apparently there was way more space than that! Also if you are a parent with an infant, you will have NO problem fitting in a child seat. Another thing is that I use an iPhone and my wife uses a Samsung. It is compatible with both carplay and android auto. Now the best part: this is the most stylish SUV under $30k I have ever seen except for a Jeep Grand Cherowkee.
My final verdict: The best, affordable, 6-7 seater SUV you can get on the auto market. And I am saying this not only from a driver-standpoint, but a parent as well. I have read other people’s reviews, and some will disagree with me. But after all, it is an automobile. Whether it be a million dollar Rolls-Royce or a Bugatti or a Ford, it is still developing. I am proud of what Ford can do. I highly recommend to those who are looking for a reliable and safe car, buy a Ford. They are incredible.
