2017 Kia Sorento review
I have owned a 2017 Kia Sorento EX 4-cylinder turbo with the Premium package for around seven years now, and have been impressed with the ride, the mileage (up to the high 20's on the highway-fully loaded!), and the durability of the interior. We have used it to snowbird to Fl every year. With the second seat down, the car has great storage capacity, and with the spare tire mounted underneath the car, and no third row seat, there is additional secure storage under the cargo mat. We bought the car used with around 24,000 miles with an extended warranty (up to 100,000 miles), and besides the routine brake and tire renewals, have had few issues, besides a transaxle that leaked and was replaced under the extended warranty. Kia has had issues with the 4-cylinder turbo engine (as had other car brands)! and, as a result, a few years ago extended the powertrain warranty for the engine from 100,000 to 150,000 miles. On the way back from FL. in May we noticed a loss in power, pulled off the highway near Columbia, SC and had the car towed to a Kia dealership on that Saturday evening. The short version here is that after renting a car and returning to NJ, we initiated discussions with the SC dealer to qualify our car for the 150k warranty, which after a week or two were successful. The engine was repaired and a new turbocharger, starter motor, and intake cylinder were also installed at no additional cost to us. We decided to have the car delivered back to NJ. The message here is that if you decide to purchase a used Kia with a 4-cylinder turbo engine, be sure to have the engine thoroughly evaluated, particularly if you are considering a vehicle with 100,000 miles or more. And, if you currently own one and the engine fails, be sure to maintain good service records, get your car diagnosed by Kia, and patiently prepare for a lengthy discussion with the upper Kia echelon to ensure that your repair is covered under warranty. Given the delay in the repair of our Sorento, we needed to purchase another Kia, here in NJ - a 2023 Telluride. We still own the 2017 Kia Sorento, and have it listed for 13,750 dollars on the Cars.com site. Given the engine improvements, it should provide many more miles to the new owner.

2003 Acura MDX review
Iv owned my 2003 mdx for about 7 years now! Bought used for $4,800 private party. With 145,000 miles. It now is at 198,000 but it’s been parked for 2 -3years now cause it had broke down finally the harmonic balancer separated and the pulley flew off !! while I was parked luckily. So towed it home didn’t have the money to fix at the time and didn’t have money to non op. Now it fixed but still not driving cause $1000 back fees.. anyways other than that great car except the electric crap my xxx Warmer was glowing and burned my bum 1 morning going to work so I pulled the fuse to both seats. Also my gps monitor went blank 1 day and never came back with maps. Great reliable car otherwise. Why I still hold onto it cause I know she is a trooper. Just need to pay registration..

2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca review
It is currently 06/13/2022, my 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca Limited is (I mean this) the best factory SUV of all time. Of any brand, any year. I (24 y/o) was taught to drive a decade ago, in this car. Purchased it off from my mother, and still use it daily. I've owned other SUV's, and was a valet driver for 4 years which allowed me to drive just about any vehicle (besides the extreme) you can think of. I mean this wholeheartedly, my 7 seater, 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca has been comfortable, seen 130mph, and has handled turns/curves at speeds any other SUV would never stand a chance with. This SUV defies sport utility vehicle. 180,000 miles on the dash, and will go 0-60mph in 7-8 seconds (fasted documented 7.38). I will hold onto this discontinued gem until the car world realizes the potential the H6 3.0 DOHC Boxer engine holds. When this car was manufactured I was playing little league baseball, I have been able to avoid life threatening accidents because of the responsive steering and control, driven through 9" snow storms and make it home safe. I've had the liberty, on closed courses, to drive in competitive timed course runs and beat out sedans like Lexus, Infinity, Honda, Toyota. Truly designed to be a "soccer mom" SUV, this vehicle has altered my perspective on modern day cars and SUVs. I cannot express enough how reliable, safe, and fun the B9 Tribeca has been to me through the years. The Subaru Ascent seems to be inspired from the B9 Tribeca, however I've driven it. Nothing compares. THE CLOSEST COMPARISON I HAVE: 2015 Audi q5 or 2017 Acura MDX. 9/2017 purchase offered significant dealer and MFG discounting....................OTD Jetta S with the manual shift was $1437.05. At 68,000 miles I've not had a single issue. Fuelly says just under 41 MPG in 35/65 city/highway use. My best highway miles Sacramento - LA round trip was 50.3 on Interstate 5. esshift5

2013 Chevrolet Malibu review
I have owned the car for about 15 months. It is a good car. There is an issue with burning a little oil. This is a known issue. I almost traded it in when I realized the oil consumption issue, but I stuck with it. I add almost a quote every two gas fill ups. I purchased it with 62,000 miles. I am a salesman and I put nearly 30,000 miles on it in the past 15 mos. Mostly highway. I had to repack the bearings in the rear wheels. This set me back about $1,200. Not good. Other than that, the car has been fine. I plan on driving it another year.

2009 Jaguar XF review
This is the second Jaguar I've owned, and it won't be my last! I'm older now, and wanted to try a 4D. I previously had a 2D coupe, which I highly recommend, but this is still very sporty, with extra space and seating, still feels like I'm driving a sportscar and handles like one! It's super luxurious, with all the bells and whistles you'd expect from Jaguar, an all leather interior, heated/cooled seats, keyless entry/start, alarm, touch screen, trip navigation, valet and their signature, wood paneling. I love my Jaguar XF Super Premium Luxury Car!

2019 Ford EcoSport review
The car is greater than the sum of its parts. I think it was a bit overpriced for what it was when it was released here in America - but as a used car it is great. It is 2026 and I just bought a 2019 2.0 4cyl SES with 25K miles for my 16 year old daughter. It is the cutest thing - like a VW bug of yore. I really like it and find reasons to drive it. I am 6' tall and feel very comfortable in the driver's seat. It is easy to maneuver and I find the car inside and out very simple but elegant and unpretentious. If you need a little more zip merging onto the highway drop it into S mode and it does the job. It is a great car for her to gain driving skills while going to school and volleyball.

This is an outstanding used car dealership. I just cannot say enough good things about them! I have owned many cars and have dealt with many dealerships, but the owner of Excellent Motor Group is by far the very best person I have ever purchased from. He is the most knowledgeable, has the most integrity and honesty, works unbelievably hard, and is the most kind used auto dealer I have ever seen. This is what he did for me: I went down to buy a Ram Promaster cargo van. He worked very hard for me, making calls for about 3 hours to find a lender for me, but my credit wasn't good enough to qualify for the loan. So he showed me a Ford Transit cargo van he had on the lot which was a little older. I still couldn't qualify, so he dropped the price so I could qualify for the loan. Then I tried to pay the down payment with my debit card but couldn't pay the whole amount because of the limit on my card. I called my bank on the mainland to increase the limit, but it still didn't work. Then because of the time difference, my bank closed for the day and I couldn't call back. Then he let me use his computer to login to my insurance carrier's website, but I had trouble getting the lienholder's name and address to show on the insurance binder, so he sat down with me and helped me very patiently to solve the issue and get the insurance binder and my insurance cards and documents printed out. Then he drove me all the way across town to the lender's office, introduced me to the lender and explained the process, then waited for me while I set up my account and got my documents. Then even after the exhausting day, and even with my down payment only partially paid, he graciously let me to pay the remainder the next day, and he even drove me all the way back across town to my apartment. The next day he picked me up at my workplace and drove me to his lot, where I was able to finally pay the remainder of my down payment. He had already finished all of the documents and paperwork, and had also gone down to the dmv to do the temp registration. He also had done the safety and emission inspection, had the oil changed, and filled up the gas tank. Then after he had done all of this for me, he offered to hold the van at his lot until I could find a monthly parking place for it near my apartment. Then the next day after I found a monthly parking spot, I noticed that my name was slightly misspelled on a few of the documents. So I went down to his lot and he got all of the documents corrected very quickly, even while he was in the process of working with another customer. He had the keys ready plus a spare key, and the van was ready for me to drive home. And he did all of this over three days in the rain while major street work was being done right next to his lot. Wow! I recommend this dealer very very highly. I have never seen anyone so knowledgeable, so hard working, so honest and patient as him. The week I was at his lot, he sold 4 cars to customers who had purchased from him over 15 years ago, and now I understand why. When you find a dealer this good, you go back decade after decade. Outstanding.
2004 Toyota Sienna review
All seats are comfortable, middle seats are foldable and removable. 3rd row seat folds into the floor. After 20 years, Ive just replaced the starter. 200, 000 miles and still runs like new. I really enjoy the 7, yes 7 drinkholders available for the front occupants. Also The 3 gloveboxes and the hidden storage under the armrests. No other van can compare. Best van Ive ever owned!

2015 Volkswagen Jetta review

The car has been awesome so far except a handful of times, at a stop light, the transmission malfunctioned and puts itself into park. This also happened one time when I was reversing and scared the xxxx out of me. When this happens it displays the traction control and ABS light, not sure if anyone else has had this same issue? It fixes itself every time after turning the car off and back on. Also had an instance where cylinder 7 and 8 were misfiring, but took it to the shop they plugged it in and reset it and the motor has been perfectly fine since. Also, the car drinks oil and has very slight leak. I know it sounds problematic, but the car has made driving fun. Nobody buys a V8 bmw for its reliability / ease of ownership … but if you take care of it, it will probably take care of you just fine. It is truly a thrill to drive. I have the msport package with all the bells and whistles and that provides me with everything I want. The comfort seats are awesome and after a 3 hour road trip I feel like I could keep driving. I drive with a heavy foot and fill it with 93 and I get 15 mpg city driving and up to 25 on the highway. This car is a super comfortable commuter if you don’t mind the gas mileage. Turning off traction control + sport mode will allow you to have way too much fun. The car feels like it is just cruising (with summer tires of course) until you hit about 140 mph which is when I when I back off. I love cruising the highway in this thing as it always feels like it has plenty more power to unleash. I love this car and would recommend it to anyone that knows how to turn a wrench or has a good connection with a mechanic.

2018 Chevrolet Malibu review
This Malibu 1.5 handles better than any car I've ever have even when in heavy rain. The turbo engine takes off like a rocket to get away from terrible drivers on toll roads. I have extra trunk capacity, leg room, super comfortable. The batteries need to be replaced about every 3 years though. There was a recall on the fuel injection modulator for this year. I had to order the replacement part from a private part store due to a shortage of that replacement part. The dealership installed it for me since they had no part to offer. I have had no other problems with this car, very low maintenance required. It is absolutely beautiful, fantastic, and fun to drive!

2015 Scion tC review
This is the 2 nd TC I have owned, I had a great experience with my 2006 it has over 240k miles on it and I just replaced the clutch on it I've had NO other problems . So I bought a newer one. It's a 2015, Ipaid top dollar for it from a used car lot they bought it at an auction. The day after I bought it it started making loud noises and it has been diagnosed with a bad throw out bearing..I bought the car as is and nobody is going to take the responsibility financially or otherwise so I'm really not happy with the situation . However the car has only 60000 miles and I hope it will be the one and only problem that needs fixed. Because of the reliability of my first one I'm counting on it. The car is fun to drive handles excellent, has the cool look of a sports car and gets 25+ miles to the gallon. It has spacious comfort in the cab too , front and back . I will say it's a fun car to drive but only if you have the manual transmission.

2016 FIAT 500X review
Had this car 3 years, and I’m planning to keep it longer, despite its faults. I have the 2016 500x 2ltr diesel, 4x4 auto version. All good, apart from... AC stopped working - and will be very costly to fix; and Intermittent gearbox problem - generally happens after a few hundred miles at motorway speed. Dealer doesn’t know what to do, out of warranty, and they deny there was a recall - which, if you google, is really easy to find.

2008 Audi A4 review
Great car. We purchased ours in 2020 with 130k miles for our daughters to learn on a manual and it has been a very reliable car. The suspension remains tight and the car is quiet with virtually no rattles. The 6 speed is smooth shifting and great fun to drive.

2011 Nissan Quest review
Excellent Quality and Reliable Minivan. We bought our Quest new in 2011, and 12 years later still running like new. Only issues have been front hub bearings and Toyo tires installed for delivery. The SL version we have is very comfortable with a very quiet ride, everything is holding up inside and outside. I know that one weak point is transmission, so what I have done is to replace transmission fluid every 20k miles. Interior is still looking like new, paint is also beautiful and all the outside moulding are stil in place.

2015 Volkswagen Jetta review
If it's a 2.0 slow then it's very reliable. Bought the car new, now with 110k no major breakdowns. Make sure it had the proper timely maintenance and it be a good reliable car. Very slow but economic. Transmission fluid change is a must. I was late in it but after the change the car shifted much better.

2015 BMW 535 review
I purchase my 2015 535i in 2020 with 34 K miles. In 2026 it has 73 K miles. All I’ve had to do was normal maintenance and tires. Although the plastic net under the car hood fell apart and that cost $650. My car has folding back seats. Makes carrying things easier. Plan to keep it long term.
