2016 Hyundai Veloster review
I purchased my car used. It was a trade-in to a Toyota dealer in San Antonio, Texas. It started off as a rental in Florida and I am the 3rd individual to own it. It has been an overall good car. But, the AC control knob that controls the fan speed has gotten stuck om low. I can still control the temp, but on cold mornings, it takes forever to defrost the windows, and om hot days, forever to cool the car. Also, there are times the screen that shows the back-up camera doesn't work. There are big-time blind spots with this car, so the camera is necessary. When the screen goes out, so does the radio. I am unable to turn it on, no volume, or changing stations. It's as if there is no radio at all. I thought at first I may need a new control knob, but now I am thinking there may be a wiring problem... such as a disconnect exfed or burned wire. I don't think it's a fuse. If so, it wouldn't work at all. Any suggestions?

There are a lot of Ford dealers much closer to where I live in the Columbus area, but I will absolutely and without hesitation drive over two hours (one way) to purchase my next vehicle at Spitzer Ford. 2015 Kia Soul review
Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

2023 Kia Soul review
I have had my 2023 KIA Soul Sport since March of 2023. I love it, because it's comfortable, fast (little red button) especially in Michigan. I have had it up to 111mph without even trying, as i was trying to get out of a situation in Michigan. I use a wheelchair, and so the space is good for that and family, and groceries. It is awesome on gas too. I was surprised at how well it handled in the snow. No worries there. This is my third KIA, and as long as the warranty stays the same or gets better, i will still purchase them.

Front mid console is a bit awkward in placement, making it difficult to put two drinks in the designed locations. Its also awkward for the passenger to open the compartment because the fit is too close to the front seats. The lack of any dedicated sunglass compartment is frustrating. I live in Northwest Ohio and did an exhaustive search for a few different makes and models of interest. One of my top choices was a white Lincoln MKZ with tan interior. I found one in Akron at Akron Auto Sales. First thought was an hour and forty five minute drive just to look at it. Then I started doing my homework. The car passed all of my criteria especially with plenty of good pictures and a link to the car fax right there. Their cars are personally cherry picked from local new car dealer trade ins and not purchased at auctions. Now I have to figure out if this place is worth my time. With a fine tooth comb I read every review, testimonial and anything I can find on them. Outstanding. They are BBB A+ accredited and never had a complaint in over 30 years. They have a repair shop and mechanics right there to not only back up their warranty but perform service for anyone looking for repair. Very happy with what I found out I made a call and spoke to one of the owners. Dave is an incredibly sharp guy and we had great conversation with not a hint of the car salesperson in him. I liked not having to fend off the usual and customary predatory practices out of the gate. After the call I decided to make the trek. I called back to arrange seeing the car and spoke to the other owner Rachael who is absolutely awesome! She has the most effervescent personality and just like her brother she didn't come off as a car salesperson. Bonus! I am not a fan of car salespeople and am always on guard which is the reason I prefer private owners. Now two phone calls with very nice people don't make a deal but I had all of the reviews living rent free in my head and my intuition told me to take the shot. From the instant you walk through their door you have one minute before your car buying experience and expectations will be changed forever. If you're out shopping and you put on your Teflon suit preparing for the car selling tactics, sales pitches, cloaked scenes you're in for a very pleasant surprise here. Your heart rate will slow, blood pressure will drop and you'll instantly be immersed in a euphoric feeling of friendship and family. Rachael and Dave are phenomenal people with infectious personalities and a mission to carry on a tradition of being different all started by their father who brought integrity, fairness and value to a murky and often shady business of selling cars. I've bought and sold a lot of cars in life and this was THE best experience hands down. I have high standards and it takes a lot to impress me and they met and exceeded all of what I wanted. I did buy the car and made new friends. It was well worth the drive and I truly didn't want to leave. You will not find more honest, trustworthy and likable people. I am not a relative, paid advertiser or the like and am just a guy who had a fabulous experience looking to share why you have to give them a look. They are very different in how they operate. 2017 Chevrolet Cruze review
We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

2022 Chevrolet Spark review
Keep in mind this rating is for a small gas fuel efficient economy car, it's way more than expected and for 2 years has not diminished my opinion at all. Good reliable car. Here in New England I have seen models from 2013 and newer still driven all over and even the prior avio models on the road too. BSic maintenance keeps them together. It is a good car!

2016 Ford Focus review
I've had my 2016 Focus SE for 9 years this year & will drive it until one of us dies. I've never had a problem with it. It gets great gas mileage, is comfortable & roomy. I've hauled many things that others thought wouldn't fit but with the back seats folded down ...no problem. I would recommend a Focus to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.

2017 Chevrolet Volt review
I drive around town most days and love the idea of not using as much gas. I drive older volvo's that I love for many reasons but they are aging and certainly not good on gas. I like the idea of full EV cars but the cost is very high and range for me (I take a lot of 200-300 mile road trips) makes it more complicated along with the expense of charging stations or installing upgraded home chargers. I bought a used Volt with 50k miles and it honestly is a pretty awesome car. I can drive around town almost purely on electric, just plug in at night to a standard outlet. And barring me going on a road trip a tank of gas a month maybe less. (8 gallons to fill up!!!!) I love the heated seats and wheel. The interior layout is great and its a very quiet car. It's quick around town and holds its own on the freeway. Are the seats volvo comfortable? NO, but they aren't bad at all in the leather premier trim. Is the back seat huge not really but if you are less than 6' it should be fine. The bose sound system is GREAT. All the safety features are nice. Back up camera, front and rear sensors, lane keep, adaptive cruise, etc.... It took a week or so to get used to how to drive it in EV and maximize my range. I can now get around 55-60 miles in town. I would say to read the manual for sure, the climate controls are situated to save electricity so there is no A/C on or off button and I had to read up on how it works. I got the hang of it once I took the time to understand what did what. The Chevy Volt forum is a wealth of knowledge as well, and that really made it easy to learn how the car works. Apart from slight learning curve it is an excellent car you can easily run in EV only if it suits your situation. Long trips are no problem I can get 42 mpg on the freeway usually and no down time to charge at stations along the way. This is a great car to bridge the gap between full gas and full electric and given the price to purchase it almost makes sense not to own one. I LOVE IT.

2017 Nissan Versa Note review
After the ABS went out on my old car, I started looking for a newer car. When I found this one, something made me stop. Now that it’s just me and my dog, I don’t need a big SUV. This little Hatchback has everything I need in just the right size. So pleased I found it.
