2025 Audi A5 review
Audi is great. My 4th. There is a problem with the on-board computer. There's supposed to be an update to fix it, but hasn't happened as of yet. It becomes annoying, and one time had to have service department reboot to make it functional. Still have occasional issues.

2021 Honda Civic review
After buying Toyota vehicles for years, I found out that they were outsourcing their CVT’s and Honda was making their own CVT’s and after driving a new Toyota Corolla and then a new Honda Civic, I was more impressed with the Honda Civic. My three previous cars were Toyota Corolla’s and I loved them. I am very happy with my 2021 Honda Civic EX and I would not hesitate to recommend Honda.

2018 Buick Regal Sportback review
I bought my 2018 essence in January 2020. It was a rental car with 24,000 miles when I bought it. 34k new, I got it for $17,600. It now has 102,000 miles and I hope to have it for at least 5 more years. Runs and feels brand new. Hard to believe. I still feel happy just getting behind the wheel. So comfortable and fun to drive. Only change the oil and new tires. Not one mechanical issue. I'm afraid I'll never have another car like this one.

2025 Toyota Prius review
There’s a lot of negative stuff in this review. Be that as it may, I’m happy with the car. Toyota revamped the Prius design for 2025. I was one of the few who liked the previous “space capsule” look - the new one looks a lot like a Tesla 3. It’s fine; not terribly distinctive, but sleek and attractive. I get compliments. They tweaked the mileage with this design, and I know exactly how: it’s smaller. I can’t reach into the rear seat footwell by putting my arm between the seat and the wall; zero room. I can’t rest my elbow on the window sill and place my hand along the top of the window; too short. There’s no glasses holder at the top of the windshield. (And there’s no rear-window wiper. Pretty annoying, but at highway speed the slipstream keeps it clear.) The center console requires that the driver be a contortionist if they hope to use it while driving; and the compartment itself is quite small. I often misjudge how to slip into a parking slot because I sit so much closer to the edge of the car than in previous Prii. All that said, I like it. Mileage is, indeed, good. The ride is comfy, though I’ve never owned a cushy car. I’ve never much liked the steering on the Prius (this is my third), and it feels vague and disconnected, but it’s serviceable. It’s low to the ground, and the driver’s position is low relative to the windows - first car I’ve ever needed a cushion to raise me up to where I could see well enough not to regularly be running over curbs in turns. I use *two* cushions! Never before. The complete suite of safety features is great. I believe that I (and others in the road) are safer for them. Connection with my iPhone is usually seamless. As with most cars, the multitude of computer options can be daunting and frustrating, but a conference with the manual and/or a search engine usually sets things right. Pick-up is actually pretty decent! I feared that my first Prius (2006 I think) would get me run over by a truck if I ever needed to scoot out of the way - very little scooting was available. That’s much better now. And unlike so many other people, I don’t really think about gas prices. On those exceptional trips (mostly downhill, I assume) when I get to my destination and read “Average mileage: 67 MPG” or even 82 rare occasions, I chuckle to myself.

2019 Chevrolet Spark review
I purchased my Spark new, June 2019. I love this car! It is now, one month before 6 yrs of owning my Spark. It has less than 10,900 miles on it. This car has great maneuverability, gets great gas mileage, and I love the Hot Red body color. The only thing I've had to replace, in almost 6 yrs, is the battery. And that was just a few months ago during freezing weather. It gets regular oil changes and maintenance checks. The 2019 Chevy Spark is one great little car for the money.

2025 Subaru Impreza review
I bought a 2025 Impreza Base model. This is my first Subaru, and I have to say, for a base trim package, it is A LOT of car! The dual touch screens take some getting used to, but they're easy to learn and navigate. The eyesight system is a pretty cool safety feature and helps keep me focused if I get distracted. The AWD is really smooth when accelerating, and the CVT feels similar to an automatic. I wasn't expecting to like a CVT but I feel like Subaru is doing them right. We'll see where this thing is at in a few years, but so far it feel pretty nice. This thing has plenty of juice when getting up to speed. The steering controlled headlights are a cool feature I didn't know I needed. Overall, this is a very nice vehicle at a great price. It's a perfect daily driver and then some.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. 2017 Chevrolet Spark review
This is a fuel efficient and modest car. It achieves 98hp has a 9 gallon tank and an automatic transmission. The LS has crank windows and old fashioned key-lock doors. You can haul a reasonable load in the back seat and hatch or even three other people, though it might be somewhat cramped. It appears to be designed for urban commuters, but I've driven it some decent distances and in all seasons now and it seems to up the challenge of all weather and (paved) terrains. The onboard technology (radio, backup camera, and internet connectivity--with Apple Play and Android Auto) is surprisingly good. Its small size makes it fit easily into small spaces. It was discontinued in 2022, so there should be parts for awhile and prices are coming down. If you need a second car, give this one some consideration.

2022 Volkswagen Golf R review
The Golf R is really a very unique and individualistic car - 'hot hatch' does not really fit as a descriptor as the 'R' is a much more mature and capable car. The car's ultra-high performance is complimented by excellent road handling thanks to AWD and the torque vectoring rear axle (A system only available in the much more expensive Audi RS3). Some commentators have griped at the price approx. 45K (Without Dealer 'Premiums') - however, as stated, this is a much more mature package that contains almost every option know to man! Head Up Display, Napa leather heated and cooled front seats/heated rear seats, Harman Kardon sound system, Automatically operating IQ lights, etc. etc. The true beauty of the R is that it can be driven as an extremely civilized everyday commuter, or you can unleash its inner demons with fantastically satisfying results! Some critics have commented negatively about the infotainment system and the lack of knobs - I am 66 and have found the system incredibly intuitive and intelligent to use - a little patience never goes amiss! Ultimately, this is a superb performance car that delivers in so many ways - it is mature, precise and measured - an amazing car! No, its not a hot hatch in the traditional sense - it is a car that is far more than that!

My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.

2024 Toyota Prius Prime review
It's a fantastic vehicle, both inside and out. I get about 30-50 electric miles depending on whether I do freeway or side-street driving, what the outdoor temperature is, if I have AC on, etc. I get 50-60 mpg when the engine turns on. It gets to freeway speeds really fast in sport mode, but I normally stay on eco/normal mode - normal mode has more than enough power for my needs. Interior features lack the extra toys from the XSE and Premium trims, but I can live without them. Trunk space is adequate with the folding cover attached and only slightly better without it due to the sloped rear exterior. But I've never had a problem with trunk space since folding down the seats grants more than enough room for my needs. Cabin space is decent. No one in my family and friend group is over 182 cm tall so all of them can fit with ample head and leg room. I have no complaints with the handling, even at higher speeds. It's smooth, but outside noise does get a bit loud especially when the engine turns on. Charging is a tad over nine hours if using a standard 110v/120v L1 charger, and half that with a 220v/240v L2 charger. The Prius Prime is not built to handle DC charging, so don't bother with that. EV mode is good for up to 55 mph or so, and HV mode is good for speeds beyond that. The sweet spot speed for HV mode seems to be around 65-72 mph. Beyond that and efficiency takes a nosedive. The Prius Prime, or any plug-in hybrid (PHEV), isn't for everyone. It's the best of both worlds, but it's also the worst of both worlds. During EV mode, a PHEV is a less efficient battery electric vehicle (BEV) since it's carrying a heavy internal combustion engine (ICE) that isn't being used, along with all the other ICE components. It also has all the maintenance requirements of the standard HEV variant, unlike a true BEV. When the battery is depleted, a PHEV is a worse hybrid since it's carrying a big battery that isn't being used. Despite a PHEV's versatility between gasoline and electric usage, it isn't for everyone. It can run on gasoline only without ever charging the battery, but then you lose all the benefits of EV driving. You paid extra for the EV experience, so you might as well charge the battery. Final thoughts: the Prius Prime is a very good car, but only If you can charge at home. If not, then get the standard Prius since that one is an even more efficient hybrid.

2015 Nissan Versa Note review
I bought my 2015 Nissan Versa Note in 2017 Certified Pre Owned with 35,000 miles on it. Now it has 80,000 trouble free miles on it. Aside from routine maintenance all I needed was sway bar links at 70,000 mi. Roomy, economical and comfortable. It may I interest everyone to know the transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. It's $240 to have it done by the dealer. Small price to pay for reliability.

2021 Tesla Model S review
purchased used with 2,200 miles. At first, I hated it, I've never had an all-electric car and the batter was dead. Luckily they sent someone to jump it. I was still thinking it was a mistake, until I actually drove it and got to know it and learn it. Drives totally different than my corvette. Now I like the Tesla better than my 650hp corvette. It hugs the road like nothing, takes off like a bat out of xxxx. I felt safe and comfortable hitting the pedal to the floor and feeling the rush of this thing taking off and just hanging on to that jet style steering wheel.

2019 Tesla Model S review
I got the raven performance model s and have not regretted it. I commute to LA from San Diego at least 3 times a week and the auto pilot has really made my life significantly easier. The fact that it drives itself on the freeways takes the edge off of traffic. Also the new suspension is incredible, also helps that I can make it there and back going 80 easily with plenty of battery remaining. The interior is simple and I truly enjoy the vegan leather. The performance of this car is unparalleled and the quickest car I had ever been in. It is hard for me to imagine driving any other car!
