It came time to finally get rid of the experiment - Hyundai. It had served me well for several years, then it started to have every problem imaginable. I went back to Honda and bought my first Civic. The EX model has everything I need, including much better performance than any Hyundai. Dealers are stingy with the deals on Honda, but I found one at Carmax that looked like it was priced about $1000 less than the Honda dealerships in town.

My sales person Sandie was exceptional in the service she provided, her smile alone would have done the job but she added patience, showed us she was listening to us and not just hearing. She was able to answer questions that we had. This woman stayed there until our transaction was done even though it was late, she went beyond to check on us the following day to find out how was our drive home. I always had a good experience with the service dept but today I was being taken advantage of. My 2018 Jeep Compass has only 30,000 miles and I was told by the advisor that it needs overall service and price would be $800 . I showed him the schedule that I was emailed and it was like $250 so I told him to just give me my free maintenance service that I usually get. I even showed him the pdf email. Also I brought my car in at 7:30 am on the line and he said that it should be ready by 9:30 and will call me. He never called so I just called service at 1 and it is ready. Next time I come for service and an advisor takes advantage I will ask for the Manager. I have friends that are retired from sales and service dept and I asked them and they said the advisor definitely was taking advantage of me; that there is no way 30,000 miles needs all that.
