Very happy to have joined the Toyota family Saturday. David Kirby was our rep, he made our experience a breeze. I met David back in February while servicing my Kia across the street. I told him my plan then was to shop around until I could bring my boyfriend with me on a weekend. He was respectful and didn’t get pushy but still gave a high level of attention to my wants. 2014 Honda Civic Hybrid review
I bought this car after test driving Toyota and GM Hybrid and Electric offerings. I also considered the Nissan Leaf. I'd owned two previous Hondas, and liked them. Between the initial price, the test drives, the intended use of the vehicle (25 mile commute in the Northeast), my guesses as to 10 year trend in gas price, and my history with Honda, I bought. I really haven't looked back. It's reliable as a Honda. I reliably get 42- 47 MPG in all weather. It could be a bit more comfy - I get a little fanny fatigue now and then. But I'd buy it again!

2014 Honda Civic Hybrid review
I brought this car in 2019 maybe around 48,000 miles at the Honda certified dealership also a plus my car came with a lifetime warranty ( as long as I have the car in my name the deductible warranty is only $100 off anything on my car that needs broken). On the 3rd year of having my car the hybrid battery went out, over $3,000 part and labor thank you Jesus I had that warranty only paying $100. Then my ac compressor went out only $100 with the warranty cost. No other problems at all and it’s 2025 and paid for. If you get this car please get an warranty package if not your in for a high bill.

We went and met Muhammad, drove the vehicle alone, negotiated a fair price, got paperwork for my bank, returned the next day and drove it home. 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid review
Haven't had any issues, been following the maintenance program with honda, very good on gas. I'm at 120000 miles, and i live in Québec, Always started. The only problem is the depreciation value because some constumers are scrared of hybrids car, in fact mine is really good on brakes, oil change is required at around 15000 km, and you save a lot on fuel, my average fuel during the last 60000miles 43.56 miles per gallon, including all seasons. Compared to 31 for a civic that is not hybrid, and in Quebec with the winters would be more like 28 in average since you need to start your car. Great car and as a way nicer look than a prius.

2014 Honda Civic Hybrid review
I love the value that I have with this car. This is my 4th Honda vehicle but my first hybrid. It is stylish, comfortable and includes everything I wanted in the standard option model. The gas mileage was rated 45-47, I have always got at least that and My current average mpg is 49.5. I purchased this car new and have almost 73000 miles.

2006 Honda Civic Hybrid review
Had this car as a high mileage beater with all the common problems for that generation, hybrid battery failure, transmission issues, etc. Long story short I beat the xxxx out of this car with no regard to it other than things that would affect my safety, and you could not kill it. power steering is electric and smooth like butter, and it genuinely got 37 mpg. Watch out for bad hybrid batteries, and avoid specific years of the generation

This car runs very good has enough keg room in the front but not in the back with long legs. It drives good handles good and if you run out of gas you can drive it 50 miles without gas it looks sporty and cheap on gas 40 in town 45 on the highway,and it's a head turner

2011 Honda Civic Hybrid review
We have had the honda hybrid civic 2011 since we bought it new in 2011. Our car has automatic transmission, no navigation and no bluetooth. (We use a Garmin GPS and a Jabra Freeway for those functions). We have 26,000 miles on it. First, it gets the mileage we expected. We are getting around 40 miles per gallon in local driving and up to 51 miles per gallon on long distance freeway driving at speeds up to 75 mph. The problem is the car lurches when going at slow speeds, which is pretty common in traffic in Northern Virginia. Step on the accelerator normally and the car feels like a teenager just learning to drive a manual transmission. It lurches a bit when it gets going and at slow speeds. Honda America (HQ) said, when we complained about the herky jerky motions, that it is part of the design of the car. Nothing to be done about it. Clearly, to me, just poor engineering. Difficult to believe that a company with Honda's reputation has such poor engineering and will not do anything to correct it, but that appears to be the case. At 25,000 miles the dealer replaced the power steering module under warranty. It was not causing trouble, but my wife heard a squeal in the steering. When we brought it in for regular servicing, the mechanic checked this and decided to replace the power steering. This was under the factory warranty. Good service as far as I'm concerned. We have purchased the 100,000 mile warranty to be sure that we don't run into any further surprises.

2014 Honda Civic Hybrid review
I bought a 2014 Honda Civic Hybrid six years ago at 60k miles and just traded it in this past weekend at 155k miles. It was a fantastic car. I can't say enough about the gas mileage. We could do 65 mph on the highway and it would get between 45-50 mpg. It is low to the ground, so tall people like me have a crouch a bit to get in. Durability during the time I owned it was great. Minimal problems. The only feedback I have is the CVT transmission started slipping occasionally at 150k miles. If you find a low mileage version, I would recommend you consider it.

2012 Honda Civic Hybrid review
I purchased a used/resale 2012 Civic Hybrid three years ago at 87,000 miles. It has run perfectly, with no issues or problems whatsoever. The first owner had all Honda dealer required maintenance/service and we both have maintained the car well. It is fun to drive, comfortable, VERY economical and gets 44-48 mpg. It is a very quiet, smooth riding with a smooth-shifting automatic transmission. Excellent air-conditioning and heating, super safe with eight airbags in front. The 2012 Civic Hybrid has the "larger, improved 1.5 L gas engine and more powerful 17kw electric motor. It also has the longer-lasting ("10-15 yrs.") Lithium battery. Fill the 13.5 gal. gas tank and its range is 500 plus miles. The exterior paint and interior still look like new. No exterior paint issues, no CVT transmission issues and still looks and performs like new. It has a 160 watt stereo w/CD, Mp3, Blue-tooth, traction control and "econo" mode for even better gas mileage. Plenty of power and good acceleration. I recommend the 2012 year model Honda Civic Hybrid to all who want a well-built, safe, fun and economical car. I have enjoyed driving it and have not had any problems/issues whatsoever with this well-designed little car.

2011 Honda Civic Hybrid review
I am pretty confused with the other posts I have been reading, my Civic Hybrid I have 1 problem and it was fixed quickly at no cost to me as it was under warranty. My average Gas Mileage is 40.5 city, to 47 highway. Stop and go traffic in Northern VA has gotten it down to 38 mpg though. I have a feeling that quite a few people don't understand how to use the MPG meter. If you keep track of that and how you press the gas pedal it pretty much teaches you how to extend your gas mileage. Getting 40+ is very easy with this car. The Quality of the interior is great for the cost. Very comfortable. My wife is very short (4'11") and she can drive it comfortably with good vision. The exterior I like a lot, because it looks like a normal car, I find the Prius to look pretty goofy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality hybrid.
