2019 Honda HR-V review
If you want a hot rod and home office in your vehicle look elsewhere. If you want a reliable, fuel efficient, and comfortable ride this is your vehicle. Has just enough technology, but not so much where you are angry and frustrated with the technology. People complain about the acceleration, my question is: how fast do you need to go? I have the awd sport and enjoy the way the vehicle handles the road. Added bonus: ample room in the backseat and trunk. Lumbar support is awesome as well.

Very happy with my HR-V sport model. Exterior design of the car is very nice Interior is a little small with not much room for storing things. Would not recommend this car to avery large person but for a smaller individual it is perfect, Runs well, has more pick up than I thought it would have. Based on only been driving it for 3 weeks I do recommend it.

2022 Honda HR-V review
The HR-V is a great vehicle, however, the option of heated seat is enemic. Have taken back to dealer 3 times for testing and they say there is nothing wrong and meets specs. I changed dealers and got the same resuts. Well my bottom tells another story and have tested both driver and passenger for heat in the dead of winter of winter. There is absolutely no heat from either seat. Tested from current dealer with the same results. Maybe we are jinxs as my wife and other passengers can confirm lack of heat, or, no heat at all.

2018 Honda HR-V review
I bought my 2018 Honda HRV new with only 53 miles on it and while I was very hesitant initially to get a new car (because depreciation) it was definitely the best decision for me. The car is comfortable to drive, gets great gas mileage, and has been very relatable over the last 5 years. I’ve put new tires on and changed the oil and standard maintenance items. The absolute worst thing I can say is I wish it wasn’t manual seat adjustments, I have the base model.

I was here from CT to visit my mom in memory care. My driver’s side window fell into the door leaving me with a triangle of glass sticking out. Upon arrival, Renaldo, greeted me and talked to the supervisor who said it needed a part that they had to order and wouldn’t be ready today. I needed to drive home today for work tomorrow. As I was about to leave, Joe, walked out of the service garage and said “let me see what I can do”. 15 mins later my car came out and the window was fixed!! He said some bolts were loose and he was able to fix it! He’s my hero! I thought I was going to drive 3 hours back home with a broken window. Thank you to North Shore Honda in Glen Head (my hometown), Renaldo for his kindness and especially to Joe for stopping me from leaving and going above and beyond to help me. Thank you so much!! 2017 Honda HR-V review
I own a 2017 Honda HRV 1.5 Petrol FW CVT (European model). I’m the first owner and I just reached 220k Kilometers. No issues so far except for a start/stop button replacement and a scheduled suspension replacement (200k). All the services and oil changes were made on time according to the manual. I also started doing the oil/fluid changes (engine & cvt transmission) in less kilometers than the proposed schedule once the car reached 180k kilometers. The European edition 1.5 petrol motor responds well but I believe that a bigger motor would be more suitable for the specific model. I’ve traveled a lot on asphalt, gravel and snow (with a good pair of snow tires) and in temperatures varying between 14 to 113 Fehrenheit.

2021 Honda HR-V review
I chose the HR-V because it was small enough to fit down my driveway but was still an suv. The car is great but it doesn't have the features of my RAV-4. However, the new car, in the Sport model, has the updated features I wanted including navigation/Apple Car Play/Android Auto. The add ons by the dealer were not worth it and were ridiculously expensive.

2022 Honda HR-V review
Great highway cruiser. Drive it normal and it reacts to your habits. Not alot of get up and go power but it likes to be driven. Great on gas. Would absolutely recommend. Small yet big. Your propped up, not feel like sitting on ground especially when you're getting out of it.

2017 Honda HR-V review
I absolutely love my 2017 HRV. No problems with it at all. Im regular on my oil changes. Did have to get a new battery last winter . First new set of tires this year (2023). I would highly reccomend the HRV. Best car Ive ever had

The battery failed when the car was new, Honda replaced it. Now the gas gauge is frozen. Overall I enjoy driving my hrv, it is a good sized car for me. Wish the rear headrest was easier to move

This is our second time coming to Huntington Honda. The first time back in 2014 when we bought a Honda Pilot that is still running well. This time we stopped by in May 2026 looking for a Honda CRV that we had seen online. If you are in the market for CRV you will know that a 2012 CRV under $10,000 is hard to find. We first met with Glen, the parts manager. Very personable and great guy. He got us setup with the sales representative, Marvin, who let us take a test drive. The car drove well and we were almost ready to buy the car, but we had one more to look at. We asked Glen if we could put a deposit down on the car while we go look at the other car, but unfortunately we could. However, he said we could call him from the other dealership and put a hold on the CRV if the other car didn't work out. Well, turns out on our ride to the other dealership we get a call that the car we are going to see is no longer available. So, we call up Huntington Honda and tell them we are coming back to purchase the vehicle and to wait for us, which they did. After which we sat with Marvin and the financial team on a Saturday afternoon and purchased and drove the car home the same day. We didn't come in and buy a brand new vehicle or even one of the more expensive used vehicles, but we were treated with honesty and respect. As far as car buying experiences go, both of our times have been great. There are no hidden fees and the price you see is the price you get. 2017 Honda HR-V review
I will try updating this as I continue using the car. So far I have 50k miles on my 2017 HRV and I’ve done a battery replacement, tire replacement and a few oil changes. Other than these things I have not had to spend any extra money on the car. I have a peace of mind knowing that this car won’t break down because it’s a Honda. Despite all of this I deducted a point from my scoring because my trim didn’t have Apple CarPlay, I wish it was standard like other manufacturers have it as. I also don’t think the exterior looks the best, but it’s fine. The AWD on this car is great and has helped me through Pennsylvanian winters. Overall I think this is the best value for the money.

2022 Honda HR-V review
1 year - no problems. Maintenance service was fast and good. No solutions made that I could find for lowering back hatch for short people, like me. Weatherproof floor mats a nice touch. Decent for the money.

2021 Honda HR-V review
I have had my 2021 HR-V for a little over two years and not had one problem until recently. I was driving and had a SRS warning light come on. Found out it is in the passenger side frame. I purchased an extended warranty so I’m hoping that it is covered.I’m just wondering if this is a problem with other HR-Vs. Could you please check. Thanks

2016 Honda HR-V review
Overall, it's great! It's a Honda and it is reliable and holds up well over time! It can be parked anywhere! However, the heater is terrible - takes over 20 minutes to warm up the car inside (my 1996 Civic and 2002 CR-V had fantastic heaters, I don't know what Honda's done to ruin their heaters). It is also bad for road noise, it is difficult to hear passengers because of all the road noise on a highway!

2018 Honda HR-V review
Some early reviewers did not like the power, but it has been fine for me. I am not racing anyone. I like the “magic seat” capability. That has been useful many times. Driven literally across the country — California to Florida — with little fatigue. 60,000 miles and no maintenance issues.
