2018 Honda Odyssey review
We looked at all van brands before picking the Odyssey. We also test drove the Toyota and Kia vans. The main feature that sold us was the second row seating. With the middle section out the two outside captains seats can slide from side to side as well as forward and rearward. They are called Magic Seats and are great. We slide our grandkids to the middle in case of a side impact. We have had some recalls, but none of them caused use any problems before they were repaired. We would buy this van again now. We have had it since new and now 40 months and 36,500+ miles we are happy.

I’ve been a loyal First Texas Honda driver since I got my first new car in 2020, a Honda Civic Sport, and in return, they have been incredibly loyal to me. Throughout my journey with my Civic, the service center has always been amazing, honest, and extremely thorough. This most recent experience was pure magic from start to finish, and it took a true "Dream Team" to make it a reality. It started last week with Cameron Price in Service, his kindness and easygoing spirit made me feel extremely comfortable, he was so attentive and efficient while updating me on my Civic, and his great energy is what actually intrigued me to look into an SUV. He made the transition feel so natural. Then Nick from the Acquisition team stepped in with so much effort, helping me navigate my trade-in with genuine care for my situation. He really listened to what I wanted for my trade-in value, he was transparent and worked extremely well with me. I can’t thank him enough for reaching out and getting this process started. The energy continued with Sales Consultant Gustavo Bittencourt and his Sales Manager Carlos Martinez. Watching Gustavo was honestly inspiring, he was literally running around getting cars from inventory for my test drive, making sure every single one of his customers felt seen and taken care of, yet he never let me feel like anything less than his top priority. He and Carlos worked in such perfect harmony, they didn't just look at my budget, they looked at me. They knew how much this car meant to me and my family, and they worked alongside each other to make my dream deal happen! Last but not least, Rizwan Ali, the Financial Manager who helped us complete the final paperwork swiftly we have a busy schedule and he was so kind, informative and prompt! Every single one of these people played a special part in my journey. They treated me like family, handled my budget with respect, met my dreams with excitement, and most importantly, treated me with loyalty. Thank you, First Texas Honda, for being a place I can trust. I am beyond obsessed with my new 2026 HR-V EX-L, the Nordic Forest Pearl color is stunning, but I’m even more grateful for the Honda family I have here, I look forward to purchasing all of my future cars here with y’all! 💙

2023 Honda Odyssey review
This is my second Honda Odyssey Elite having traded in my 2019 for a 2023. Why did I make the trade? I hadn't had any problems with my 2019, but the trade in value of my 2019 made the purchase of a 2023 a "no brainer". I had considered purchasing a Toyota Sienna Platinum because of the fuel economy. But the price of the Toyota was so much higher than the Honda, especially when you consider that the Rear Seat Entertainment System costs extra on the Toyota and dealers are adding premiums above MSRP. I calculated I would have to drive the a Toyota around 80,000 miles before I would actually begin saving money on gasoline.

2023 Honda Odyssey review
Love most things about this car but today's cars have way too many buttons and gadgets that aren't necessary - too distracting. This one hugs the road well, handles nicely, rides very comfortably. We've driven Honda's since 1978 and find them very reliable and trustworthy cars.

2022 Honda Odyssey review
Not a big fan of the breaking system which wears out the brakes if you follow vehicles close. Interior storage spaces are much smaller or non existent. Interior much more cheaply made and does not last nearly as long.

2024 Honda Odyssey review
Great car but serious security issues exist with the HondaLink app. Since I purchased the car over 2 months ago, I have been connected to someone else’s car. I can see their location, start their car, unlock and lock their car any time I please. I have confirmed this by doing a google search for their address and making personal contact with them since Honda said there was no way their system was functioning this way, so I had to spend time proving to them that indeed it does. Honda has been aware of this for 2 months and thus far has done nothing about it. I call them weekly or more often than that and yet still they do nothing about it.

2021 Honda Odyssey review
Bought the 2021 EX-L model end of 2023 with 21,000 miles. I test drive the Sienna and was very disappointed in every aspect which led me to the Oddessy which I had not previously considered. One test drive and I was sold. The amount of space for my three kids to sit comfortably, the ample trunk space, the magic slide seats, automatic sliding doors & heated seats with a sunroof are among my favorite things about this minivan. It's fun to drive and has plenty of power with its 280hp. As long as you have proper snow tires in snowy conditions, this FWD minivan will do just fine. I had no issues in squalls and other winter conditions. I took my snow tires off prematurely and got caught in a winter storm and hit a guard rail and my whole family was safe and sound with no injuries. It has since been repaired back to its original condition. Keep your winter tires on til late Spring to be safe. I will absolutely drive this thing til the wheels fall off and then I'll buy another. Thank you Honda for keeping the Oddessy in your lineup! I hope it never goes away.

2018 Honda Odyssey review
This is our second odyssey, love the can with all the safety features. We have had great reliability, and now have just under 100,000 miles (99683) and have had only minor issues. Normal wear items plus an injector problem repaired under warranty. A few recall items ( door handles, back up camera fuel pump) all taken care of under warranty Love this vehicle, love it and will buy another when they redesign it. Rides very well, has a ton of safety features, interior is very comfortable. Highly pleased.

2022 Honda Odyssey review
The Honda Odyssey has held up well over the first 3 years I've owned it. It's quiet and comfortable with a good sound system. It can take corners almost as well as my high end sports cars. And, in V6 mode (not economy) it accelerates well. The only complaint is its accident avoidance system that slams on the brakes unnecessarily. If a car is a little too close behind, you may be rear ended. I liked the car so much, I bought a 2025 Honda Odyssey, too.

I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I?ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it?s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised. This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don?t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn?t get 5 stars. But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that?s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal. If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I?d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.
