Bought used, great gas mileage on highway runs, avg 32mpg Not sure why adaptive cruise control wasn't incorporated, Jaguar got it backwards??, they have a setting you set at speed desired, and it won't allow you to exceed that set speed ??? Actually dangerous option !!! Interior is clean, luxurious, body style is smooth and aerodynamic looking . 4 cyd turbo 25t AWD R Sport version is quick off the line, a smooth, now and then you will hear the kitten purr, but this cat can growl too. After a disappointing and costly experience with my previous 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross and a local dealer/Toyota Corporate (due to manufacturer defect), I was looking for a fresh start with another car maker. My journey with Safford Brown Subaru in Manassas started with some frustration—I drove an hour from DC for a vehicle I was told was available, only to find it wasn't there when I arrived. However, the way the team handled that initial setback is exactly why they deserve five stars. Instead of the typical "bait-and-switch" feeling, Habby (Sales) and Kayla (Manager) were incredibly professional and transparent. They worked hard to make things right, ensuring the rest of the process was smooth, low-pressure, and respectful of my time. The team truly listened to my needs and worked with impressive efficiency to locate a vehicle with my color and options preferences. They also prioritized my vehicle for a service fix to address a recent safety recall. I also appreciated their transparency regarding their 1.5% credit card fee; being able to put the entire car purchase on my AmEx for the rewards was a huge plus, and they were upfront about the cost from the start. Since I am coming from a difficult mechanical situation with my previous new car, I will be keeping a close eye on how this new hybrid in the Crosstrek line performs. I will provide an update to this review in 3-6 months to share how the vehicle is holding up. For now, if you want a team that values professionalism and honest pricing, ask for Habby and Kayla!

2017 Jaguar XF review
Beautiful car and a blast to drive. It’s super quick off the line. The handling is not as good as I would like. It would not be hard to loose control at high speeds. I had a major electrical problem at less than 35K miles where the passenger side lost power, all the parking sensors stopped working, and the passenger side airbags had an issue. It ended up being all related and was fixed under Waranty while the dealership have me a brand new Land Rover to cruise around in. Other than that I’ve had zero issues with the car. It’s 5 years old with 38K miles on it so it has been gently used. Despite the gentle use the driver seat is showing ware and I have ceramic tint on the car to protect that interior. All the other seats are perfect. They could used better quality leather. Other than that the interior is perfect still. At 6’ tall and 325 pounds the car is still plenty comfortable to drive. He backseats are relatively spacious for a mid sized sports sedan as well. Over all it’s been a good car.

If you are willing to maintain the Jaguar XF to factory specs, this car will easily take you to well over a 100k miles. My first Jaguar traveled 122k miles over a 10 year period with very minimal down time. The cost was no more then my other car.
