I’ve owned this for 2.5 years, I bought it because it was as jeep and allowed me to drive it in electric mode. Few problems. I drive it almost exclusively in electric mode. Yes, there are times when electric is unavailable but that is due to not putting gas in for a long time. Once I even put in 2-3 gals. good to go.

I’ve had mostly BMWs and Audis over the years and cycled through a few TJs and a YJ as a weekend car. I’ve been driving my 4Xe as a daily for 6 weeks now and love it. It’s quiet, comfortable and generally fun to drive. Not a rocket but definitely quick enough to merge. It is loud on the highway and something to consider if you travel long distances. For me and my short commute, it’s perfect. I got 900 miles on my first tank of gas and average 32 MPG in hybrid. With everything going on in the world, it just makes me smile. Is it for everyone? No.

There is a lot of new technology working together in this car so i recommend a extended service plan. That being said this hybrid Wrangler has more power, quieter (got hard top insulation), and smoother riding (I have a Sahara High Altitute) than the Rubicon ICE previously owned. So far at 19k miles no mechanical issues.

I spoke with Tra Farrow recently at the Alton IL. Location. I was completely honest with him. He ask where I was thinking I wanted my payment to be monthly. I give him my response. I was buying a pre owned vehicle. I bought a Dodge Ram regular cab. He also was completely honest, respectful, of my request. He said he would see what he could do. After talking it was clear that we could complete the sale. I have always purchased my vehicles from private owners. This is the first time I used a dealership. I have this dealership and Tray a five star rating. While I realize it is difficult to get it give a business a five star rating. It was easy to give them the best possible rating. I have a 2013 Ram pickup that I bought new with a Max Care warranty and recently the engine light came on, not blinking,, I took it into Pettus Ram and dealt with Josie who is great. After replacing thermostat my light came back on after a few miles of driving. I took it back in and they were so fantastic and understanding. They wanted my truck for a few more days and my extended warranty covered the cost of a loaner car which they provided me with a Dodge Hornet, nice little car to drive, anyways Josie and Melissa were so caring , kept me informed and after driving it for a week my truck is running smoothly and no engine light is on. Just wanted to share my experience with everyone that worked on my truck including the mechanic, don’t know his name, but they all were so great and made it such a good experience. My truck is old but I love driving it and am so glad I had the extended warranty which saved me thousands of dollars and the dealership with its cooperation made it a pleasant experience. Thank you Josie and Melissa for always wearing that big smile and being so helpful. Thank you Pettus dealership for having a great crew of people !!
