Just wanted to leave a 5 star review about Yonkers Kia. I worked with Guillermo Rijo who really hustled to get me the EV6 that I wanted before the end of the EV tax rebate this September. He managed to do it, working together with their showroom manager, Michael Romano. The two of them hooked me up with an excellent EV6 Wind that was better than what I expected for a leasing price that was more than fair. I enjoyed working with both of them and appreciate the effort they put into the whole process. As the days go bye, my wife and I are liking the car more and more. It’s a fantastic vehicle and represents an excellent alternative to the Tesla Model 3 I was driving before. I am super happy with the service and attention I received from Guillermo and Michael at Yonkers Kia. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to lease or purchase a Kia vehicle. I felt at ease with him, as he tried to work out a deal with me.There was no pressure just a genuine feeling of honesty and commitment. By my second time to Danbury ( first to pick out the car, and second to get it), I felt like we were good friends. I travel almost an hour to get to Danbury Kia, but wouldn’t have it any other way! I can’t wait to get my oil change and visit the gang. Also,Robin was so sweet and efficient …. I felt I could of talked to her all day!
2025 Kia Sorento review
There is quite a bit to love about my 2025 Kia Sorento X Line. Great features, decent size navigation screen. However, I find the seat to be a bit uncomfortable due to the edging on the back of the seat with how it is curved. Also, I’m not sure exactly how long the paint job will last as my salesman did mention it’s not the best. My dealership wiped it clean instead of actually washing it before I took possession of it and this caused swirl marks all over it!

First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2025 Kia Sorento review
We have had a different experience than most reviewers. We bought the 2025 Sorento S, (highest trim level without the turbo) and power seems adequate. We had the car for about 10 days when my wife was pulled over for the taillight being out. The dealer replaced burnt out bulbs in the left taillight and for the license plate. Two weeks later there is a message on the dashboard that the L brake light is out. Take it to the dealer, where the service manager is surprised to hear it had 1271 miles on it. Dealership discovered a short in the wiring harness and the part has been on backorder for over a month. Since ordering the wiring harness, the cover for the keyhole on the driver door handle came off. It's gone, must have been while I was driving. Parts that just fall off are not covered under warranty, so it's $20 for the part and $70 to paint it. The people are the dealership have been great, but the product support has been disappointing.
