2024 Kia EV6 review
I own a 2024 EV6 Wind AWD (traded in a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited) and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned. And it can go 0-60mph in under 4½ seconds, which is on a par with some of my dream cars (Ferrari and Lamborghini from a few decades ago). Charging at home with a $150 charger that plugs into a regular power outlet is quick and adds power to the battery as I sleep. I have a YouTube channel where I post occasional videos, showing what it’s like to own an electric car in your silver-haired years. If you have questions, drop by and ask away.

2023 Kia Telluride review
This is followup to Tucker Dawg prior review. As noted the 2023 Tellurides came without a tow hitch or harness and none ever became available due recall issue on 2020 -2022 models. My dealership was able to retro fit 2022 hitch, then they paid to have an aftermarket electrical harness installed. And now I pull a 22 foot airstream camper ( 3800# weight ) and it works great! All in all very happy with car after 3 years and 26,000 miles. But if buy used, do be aware KIA never offered a factory hitch or harness.

Stopped by mid to late afternoon ! Me and my Husband are looking to downsize , I currently drive a 2017 Ford Expedition ! (love it still but don’t need size anymore kids all grown up) We parked walked over to the Toyota . Minute or less Mack walked up to us , offered us coffee and water ! Then said feel free to walk around , also offered to grab us keys or lets us do our thing until we need him ! Just honestly such a nice experience with him and the cleanliness of the store ! Asked him for the keys ! I test drove the Toyota Highlander ! Test drive went great ! Asked Mack about 50 Questions and answered them all explaining where needed ! My new store !!!! 2024 Kia EV6 review
Full disclosure: My dad technically bought it, but I had a huge hand in the decision and getting used to the car after buying. This is his first Kia. Mine was a Forte Koup SX. Both seem to be splendid. The seats aren't too plushy but I can still fit in them(unlike the N cars, which I can't fit in at all, being 30lb overweight) The performance threw me off because I found out after the test drive it was "only" 320hp. Very few SUVs have this kind of horsepower unless they're HUGE. This outhandles and outaccelerates his 270hp 2014 WRX. Yup, even though it's an SUV. So far it's been easy to charge, we use the local transit park'n'ride charger and just go do other stuff while it sits there a few hours. It's free, so he hasn't needed to even get a wall charger at home yet, which is good, because this isn't a $60 Tesla. Having to get a $2K level 2 charger would be a noticeable additional expense. The radio is AMAZING. Not the best I've ever heard, but for the price range, it is unlikely that anything is noticeably better, if better at all. I know everything has a backup camera these days, but I'm absolutely LOVING this thing's! Especially since I back into charging stations(I suck at backing up otherwise, especially in an SUV). Do your homework, make sure chargers are around. If you need to use it THAT much, consider that level 2 wall charger. Don't bother with the level 1 wall charger, it only charges 20 miles a day for this vehicle. I bought the car 2 days ago, this thing's forcing me to do a reliability rating. Disregard it. Bottom line: You couldn't get a gasoline SUV that matched these specs for this price. I don't think you could even come close.

I own this car. I have the prestige all wheel drive and I also have the panoramic roof. I absolutely love this car ! I've had it for over a year now. Bought it June of 22. If you are easy on the pedal you can average 36-38 miles per fill up.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. 2024 Kia EV9 review
Ok, good car. Lots of great reviews online. We have a GT and let me say the biggest issue is technology. Tesla has set a high bar with customers. I expect EVs to fully integrate with mobile and to require less to do more. Kia is truly bombing here. Smart Key? About as difficult to setup as can be. Second Driver? It’s like Kia didn’t know the concept existed. Interconnected Experience? Kia Connect Reps don’t have my name or address, yet the app does? Online Experience, different architect, limited features, slow. It took two hours to get me and my wife setup. I gave up on the keys.

Game changing. Luxurious and affordable. Makes relying fully on an EV an easy and comfortable reality. This car goes head-to-head (and beyond) with any luxury sedan. With the regen mode (which you choose the level of with the paddle to the left of the wheel) it's easy to get above the standard range level. Has auto pilot, lane change guidance, and auto distance/speed adjustment which are really helpful for long or late-night drives. Find the EV6 groups on social media for helpful tips.

My sales person, Daekwon was great from the moment we met him. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed and he answered any questions or concerns I had. Marcy from finance was great as well. I’d certainly send family and friends to Tasca Kia in Johnston. The only thing I am disappointed about is that although they cleaned the vehicle and made sure the gas tank was full, the battery wasn’t charged. It was at 15%. Had I realized that and/or understood, I would have had them charge it.
2025 Kia Sportage Hybrid review
The features of sxp trim model is an exceptional value for the price. The interior space for a 6’3” person like myself is very comfortable, both leg and head space. Drive is very smooth for a compact SUV. Front windshield design provides great visibility. Seats are comfortable and provide excellent support. Good acceleration for its class. It’s not designed to be a sports car. The vehicle style and the Vesta Blue color is eye catching. I’ve only owned the vehicle for a week, money well spent if you’re in the market for a new vehicle. Just pick the right dealership from which to buy. Do your due diligence and enjoy the ride.

Great redesign. Much roomier interior. I have the gas hybrid and gas mileage is great. The only complaint I have is the middle console. The material used scratches easily and shows fingerprints as well.

2022 Kia Seltos review
I've owned this car for a little over 10 months now, and I thoroughly enjoy it. Some of the things that could use some improvement would be road noise, speakers in the back are almost inaudible, placement of the infotainment screen is kind of odd, and maybe less plastic in the interior. As far as the engine goes and transmission, transmission runs smooth and the engine could use a little more get up and go. Of course I only have the 2.0L. The ride is pretty smooth and I don't feel too many bumps like I did in my Soul.

2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid review
I've put 60k miles on my 2023 Sorento Hybrid and it's been solid. Only repair was a defective horn, covered under warranty. Maintenance has been very cheap, less than $1000 total (not including tires) for 60k miles! I average 33 mpg overall. I used this primarily for rideshare and got compliments on a daily basis on how nice the interior was. 10/10 recommend.

When using cruise control and limit how many car lengths between you and car in front of you, it does serious sudden slow down which could be dangwrous with someone right behind you. Otherwise great car, one of my best ever.

2026 Kia Sorento review
We bought our 2026 Kia Sorento SX in Sept. 2025. It is equipped with a 2.5-liter, turbo charged engine. We really liked the exterior look of the Sorento. The interior is nicely appointed and comfortable. The engine produces 280 HP, so there is plenty of power when you need it. We are still getting used to the Dual Clutch transmission. It has different characteristics than automatic transmissions in previous vehicles we have owned. The Sorento is comfortable to drive, but there is a lack of road feel that we had to get used to. The dual use toggle switch that controls the climate system and infotainment system can be confusing. We also find there is excessive wind noise when going faster than 40 MPH. In the first 3000 miles we have driven the Sorento, we have one recall for a software problem, and we experienced a dead battery with no apparent cause. Overall, we like the Sorento, but we are concerned about its long-term reliability.

2023 Kia Sorento review
My Sorrento has nice styling...is comfortable..get good gas mileage which in this Era is important...love how it is equipped with navigation, heated seats,fold down third seats. This size is perfect for my wife and I and extra room for picking up guests at the airport or bringing groceries home. I would have liked a little more power for getting up to speed in traffic and getting on the highway. All in all I'm very happy with this SUV

2024 Kia EV6 review
I have a GT model, the fast one ;). I have had for 6 months and 7k miles now. It does not get old to put it in GT mode (full 576hp) and step on it. Ultra fast car and a complete sleeper. I got a screaming deal on it, paid 2/3 of the MSRP price. Love the no maintenance aspect of it (minimal stuff required). Great interior at this price point, not a BMW/Audi interior, but excellent for the segment it competes in. Very happy and highly recommended!

2023 Kia EV6 review
I bought a one year old GT line with 7000 miles on it for $37k. With no fed rebate available new or used its the only way the Kia is cost competitive with tesla and vw. I wanted the sunroof, heads up display and heat exchanger, so had to go w 4wd. Unfortunately the 4wd gt line also comes with 20" wheels with 255 width tires, this drops the efficiency much further than the heat pump helps it. The ride is also a bit firmer than in other 19" wheel equipped ev6 I've driven. Otherwise the car is great, actually listed by the EPA as a wagon, Kia wants to sell it as an suv, I love that it's a wagon. The only electric wagon you can buy in the US! (Porsche taycan cross turismo might qualify). The build quality is very good, feels as solid as my last Mercedes. Storage space is good but not as ultra efficient as tesla or lucid. Having standard controls for lights and wipers is a big plus. The software needs a little help as it is not in the same league as tesla when it comes to navigation and updates. The Meridian sound system is really bad. Meridian also provide systems for Jaguar and Range Rover and have some very well regarded and expensive home systems. I have no idea how this powerful 14 speaker system can sound so terrible but it does. It completely lacks smoothness and clarity, my 40 year old Proton clock radio is easier to listen to than this mess. I've gone online, tried every setting option available and have only managed modest improvements. Hopefully there is a software upgrade in the works that can help. The seats are comfortable, the range is decent and the charging can be fast. The full on performance in sport mode is a great party trick but eco mode is the way for daily driving. Buy a used one to avoid the immediate $20k depreciation and you have a great car that go head to head with anything out there.

2023 Kia Seltos review
I owned a 2023 Kia Seltos S, color Neptune Blue. I put 72000 miles on it doing UBER. The original tires it came with lasted me 65000 miles. Nothing went wrong other than the horn went out, which Kia fixed for free. It rides SMOOTH. I had TONS of compliments from my riders. They loved the space. It was easy to take HUGE packages and bags in and out and pick up people from airports and bus stations. It's one step down from their Sportage and worth the money. I just upgraded to a 2025. Guess what I bought? Another Seltos. These are amazing vehichles that don't get enough credit. The newer models have mood lighting. They have one touch and you can open the trunk. Some have leather seats and power seats which I now have. Everyone loved the color. So yes, buy a new kia in confidence. They also have Kia Connect now and you can find your car and immobilize it IF IF IF it gets stolen. Kia will go get it for you through their connect app. They also offer to install lojack. Go for it.

2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid review
Just a terrific car for the price. I'm 6'6" tall and have long legs and I'm more comfortable in this car than I am in many much larger vehicles. I've gotten over 40 MPG since I've owned it and am really enjoying driving it with the lane assist and auto hold features.

I absolutely love there transfer program where they will transfer vehicles to your local stores without an obligation, and many transfers are free! Only complaint about Carmax is that I feel the cars are a bit overpriced, but it's worth it in the end for there customer service!
2023 Kia Telluride review
I was very disappointed to discover that after paying the exorbitant markup of almost $10,000.00, that there is no power button in the car or on the key fob to open the rear hatch. I was also shocked that the front passenger seat does not have power controls, you have to reach under the seat to manually pull it forward or back. While I understand the safety feature to not accidentally lock a child in the car, I was unable to lock my car while trying to sleep in the back while camping. I'm hoping this won't be an issue in the future, but I had to have an alignment after only 12,000 miles and since I'm the only driver, I can assure you that I've never hit a pot hole or anything else that should have caused this. I do find the car comfortable to ride in and I like the safety features that alert you when trying to change lanes or if an object is behind you.
