I purchased my first Volkswagen over the weekend! For the past 10 years, I’ve mainly owned Fords, and the last vehicle I purchased was almost six years ago. So, walking into a dealership on Saturday, I had a mix of expectations and anxiety. Let’s be honest—most people dread the car-buying process. Thankfully, my experience was nothing like what I had built up in my head. I was greeted professionally inside instead of being swarmed before I could even get out of my vehicle like a flock of birds, and my stress level immediately started to drop. I was connected with Jonathan Doucet, who took the time to walk me through the Volkswagen lineup. We talked about the features and things I wanted in a new vehicle, and he actually listened. He took my wants and needs into account and helped narrow things down as we walked through the lot. The vehicle information was easy to access, and Jonathan was able to answer every question I threw at him with accurate and knowledgeable answers. We narrowed it down to two vehicles to test drive, and after driving both, I was able to confidently choose the one I liked best: the Tiguan SE R-Line. Once I made my decision, Jonathan stayed professional and attentive as we moved into evaluating my trade-in and working through the numbers. He listened to what I wanted out of the deal, and the entire process flowed smoothly and efficiently. Then came finance—the part I was probably dreading the most. Honestly, the transition was smooth and surprisingly underwhelming... in the best possible way. Chris at the finance desk was great. There was no pressure or constant push to add every possible extra. He recommended and explained the available products, answered my questions, and respected my decisions without dragging the process out trying to convince me to buy more stuff. He got me through what is usually the most stressful part of buying a vehicle without making me want to bang my head on the desk, which deserves recognition on its own. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I’m loving my new Tiguan. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, go see Jonathan at Volkswagen of Fort Myers. 2009 Lexus IS 250 review
I bought my Lexus in 2017 with over 80K miles and she's still running strong at around 135K miles. I've never had any major issues, but I make sure to bring it in for regular maintenance. Every now and then the check engine light will illuminate, but after a few days it will turn off. I'm assuming & hoping it's an emissions issue? I would not recommend this car if you have a family since storage and back seat are quite tight. Really enjoy driving this vehicle on highways since the ride is smooth and quiet.

05/01/2024 - will update if anything changes, but I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised by how NOT like a used car lot this used car dealer is. No pressure. No xx. Friendly. Seems honest and forthright. Personable people. They state that they won't put a car on the lot if it doesn't pass their mechanic's inspection. It's more important to them to make a reloable sale than to simply move volume. I hope that's true, because I bought my new-used car from them today to replace my old-new one that Lehigh drivers smashed up. I needed a boat hauler, and now I have one! I'm not happy to be on Lee County roads again, but I'm happy not to HAVE to take the bus, happy to be ON the water in my boat, and happy to have dealt with a dealer apparently interested in everyone leaving the transaction satisfied. They sent me a quote early in the process and before even being on the lot, which helped. "Gave me the Carfax [equivalent]", also. Took long test drive. Paperwork took a while, but it wasn't unpleasant. Did not trade in and did not finance, but review would not submit without me selecting something. Would do business with them again, and will update in a month or two if anything changes. Thanks Vince, Josh, and Linda!
2007 Lexus IS 250 review

After searching for over a month and wanted to give up I came across the exact model I was looking for, I called scheduled to see the vehicle first thing on a Saturday. I showed up early to be greeted by Naim. He had the vehicle cleaned, filled with fuel and out front ready for us to road test, we went for a 20 minute drive , tested EVERYTHING and the car was 100% what we wanted. They issued a temporary plate so we could leave and take it back home and within 1.5 hour from arrival we were on our way, they offered a extended warranty at a VERY low price which we purchased as a precaution. We have so far driven the car over 800 miles without any issues and couldn’t be happier thank you to Vandross auto sales for exceeding our expectations we will defiantly be returning when our son is ready for his first vehicle

2009 Lexus IS 250 review
Review from a current 09 is250 owner who wishes he was told these things before buying. It’s small but spacious enough to fit the very basic things. Seats don’t fold down in the rear I never knew that before I bought it so keep that in mind. With that being said the trunk is very large for what you need to put in there on a daily basis. Models before 2010 don’t have Bluetooth music. Engine is a bit more powerful then you think when you first see 2.5L V6 but the torque is really the winner with handling in performance for that category of the car. Car takes 91 octane as a minimum at the gas pump don’t buy a Lexus and cheap out on gas or good oil. Car is great for a basic modification platform if your a young guy looking to get into modding aftermarket is pretty great. If your looking at any of these 2006-2012 IS models CHECK FOR STICKY DASH!!!!!! For me it wasn’t a deal breaker but it does get annoying sometimes if you live in hotter climates. Speaker system is great if you get the mark levinson package in yours. Steering is great as most people say. Gas mileage I get is 26 MPG combined city and highway with shell 91 gas in my tank. Car is great at what it’s meant to do but make sure if your wanting enough power to keep up with most v6 engines (go with the is350) or enough cargo room to go to ikea or Home Depot (go with the gs350). Also if your looking for the is250 for a basic commuter car make sure as soon as you purchase it do this list :Oil change and filter buy high quality oil ( if you live in a warm climate put only 10W-30 oil because the stock 5W recommendation will fail you and the car will burn it all off and run horribly) because yes the 250 burns oil, get the K&N high flow air filter it helps just give the car a little more air to feel a bit faster which helps in this slow thing, general inspection at your local mechanic for rust or general part ware, new headlights because most are fogged from 06-2012 or get headlight clear by McGuires.

2010 Lexus IS 250 review
Drove this car to 151K miles with no issues other than routine maintenance! It’s comfortable, as I did countless road trips across the us, sometimes every month! I’ve never felt so safe and sure about a used vehicle as I did this one. And 10 years later it still looks amazing!

2006 Lexus IS 250 review
I've had this car for 7 years and it still goes as well as the day I bought it. A friend drove it the other day and was so impressed he's going to buy one too. The handling and quiet understated design gives me everything I want. Next to buy is the IS350 with a bit more power.

2008 Lexus IS 250 review
I traded in my 2012 Honda Civic Si for a 2008 IS250 AWD and I could not be happier! This car has more tech and luxury than I could have ever expected. Heated/cooled seats, navigation, "snow mode", back up camera... you name it! When looking for a reasonably priced, luxury but used car... this is perfect! So happy with my purchase and I will now be a lexus owner for life.

2012 Lexus IS 250 review
I maintain this car at the local Lexus dealership. The performance tires last about 25,000 miles and it does require premium fuel. It’s a 6-cylinder with plenty of power and has a sporty feel. Mine’s AT with paddle shift (which we never use). No real issues, although the carbon cleaning that was recommended was a $250 surprise. Still a solid, dependable and enjoyable car.

Hi, i own a Is250 for almost 6 months now and after having this car for a period of almost 6 months i feel like i owe this review to this particular piece of art, i bought this car used as my first car and i had few other options that i was particularly interested in such as the 09 Accord and a 05 Gs350, while buying the car i wanted something quick, comfortable, good on gas and Ofcourse reliable and i vouch that this car has checked all the boxes i bought the car with over 400k KM driven i’ve driven this car allot even driving more than 600-700KM in a day, the last owner didn’t do a good care of the exterior and interior but he indeed took a decent care of the mechanical side of the car so far after driving more than 40k KM in just 6 months the only thing i spend was on a battery and a oil change thats all! Been super reliable girls like it and its a quick car truly a amazing vehicle to own 100% recommended
