We returned to Northside Lexus because we had previously bought a car from them and have had marvelous service. As before, the salesman, Michael Van Cleave, was very thorough in giving us options for the cars we were interested in. When we picked up the car, David Ortiz, our delivery specialist, was very patient in his instruction style and gave us plenty of time to absorb all the new information about the new 'gadgets' in the car. Overall, we can say that we would definitely recommend this dealership and its employees!
I would like to thank Randy Covert for outstanding customer service. He makes a sincere effort to truly understand the customer's real (sometimes unexpressed) needs, and driving style, and then suggests a few solutions. Thank you!
Rob Comstock has been an excellent help to us in regards to our new car purchase (both of them). We are very pleased with our new Rav4. We cannot thank everyone at Gullo enough for helping us exchange the Prius we originally purchased (which it turned out was not the right car for us) for the Rav4. We went to Gullo because your on line customer service rating was four and a half stars. I am so glad we did. I'm not sure any other dealer would have been willing to exchange cars after purchase just to make a very short old lady feel comfortable and save while driving. I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
After visiting several of the typical dealerships I walked away confused and Unsatisfied. After visiting Carvana.com I picked out a vehicle to my liking and price point fill out the paperwork got approval I had my new vehicle delivered to my front door. Most typical dealerships you spend half a day walking away with an overpriced vehicle in an overpriced interest-rate. Rees was my greeter and was an excellent source of information and sales expediter. Rees explained the CarMax process and then Listened to the car features I required. He did searches of car max inventory, searches of manufacturers’ sites for additional info, and requested transfer of a vehicle from another location. There was no pressure to buy (CarMax has a five day return policy). Paperwork was efficient, and I even got help getting both the car I bought and the car I arrived in home. It was my first solo car buying experience so I especially appreciated that I got a car that suited me at a fair price and no hassle
Laurence was very professional and he got me in the car of my choice in less time. he addressed my concerns. Even though they were undergoing construction. All the sales men/women were smiling as they said hi to me.
I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I’ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it’s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised.
This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don’t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn’t get 5 stars.
But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that’s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal.
If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I’d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.
