I traded my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE450 4Matic for a brand new 2023 Lexus GX460 and could not be happier! I love how solid and substantial the GX feels and even thought it is not at quick as the MB with its turbo inline 6, I love how the V8 engine in my GX sounds and performs with its perfectly matched power train. The truck looks nice, rides nice and it a great place to spend time. I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment since these vehicles are known for their legendary reliability.

My hubby and I just purchased this vehicle a few months ago and were concerned about how old this car was. We were looking for a newer model but our friend owns a dealership and told us that this was the best one on the lot when u compared everything. At 20 yrs old, it didn't have one scratch, the interior was in perfect condition and it only had a 100,000 miles on it so the previous owner only put an average of 5,000 miles per year. We drive it back n forth to work and i do my weekly errands w it. We also own a Toyota Camry, a GMC Sierra 3500, a Toyota Ranger and a Harley Davidson motorcycle but this has been our new go to vehicle and prob will be going forward. U just feel different when ur in an SUV and when its a luxury vehicle like this one, its just top notch. I highly recommend this vehicle and i promise if any problems arise, i will come back on here and do an updated review. Happy holidays ....🎄

Review from a current 09 is250 owner who wishes he was told these things before buying. It’s small but spacious enough to fit the very basic things. Seats don’t fold down in the rear I never knew that before I bought it so keep that in mind. With that being said the trunk is very large for what you need to put in there on a daily basis. Models before 2010 don’t have Bluetooth music. Engine is a bit more powerful then you think when you first see 2.5L V6 but the torque is really the winner with handling in performance for that category of the car. Car takes 91 octane as a minimum at the gas pump don’t buy a Lexus and cheap out on gas or good oil. Car is great for a basic modification platform if your a young guy looking to get into modding aftermarket is pretty great. If your looking at any of these 2006-2012 IS models CHECK FOR STICKY DASH!!!!!! For me it wasn’t a deal breaker but it does get annoying sometimes if you live in hotter climates. Speaker system is great if you get the mark levinson package in yours. Steering is great as most people say. Gas mileage I get is 26 MPG combined city and highway with shell 91 gas in my tank. Car is great at what it’s meant to do but make sure if your wanting enough power to keep up with most v6 engines (go with the is350) or enough cargo room to go to ikea or Home Depot (go with the gs350). Also if your looking for the is250 for a basic commuter car make sure as soon as you purchase it do this list :Oil change and filter buy high quality oil ( if you live in a warm climate put only 10W-30 oil because the stock 5W recommendation will fail you and the car will burn it all off and run horribly) because yes the 250 burns oil, get the K&N high flow air filter it helps just give the car a little more air to feel a bit faster which helps in this slow thing, general inspection at your local mechanic for rust or general part ware, new headlights because most are fogged from 06-2012 or get headlight clear by McGuires.

I have bought a car from them for my daughter. The car wouldn't accept gas Bob told me to take it to their mechanics their mechanics found some stuff that was wrong with it and Bob took care of me as I was his own family. Really really really appreciate the honesty and how they took care of me and my kids.

Very easy to drive and park.I did add a rear-view camera. Easy to get in and out,nice hatchback with plenty of space.The most comfortable seats you can buy.Great looking interior,with a easy to read dash board.Mine has a DVD player and a cassette player.Stylish family car not a macho truck like 4 Runner .Peppy engine.Gas mileage not what it is suppose to get even after tune up ! I had to put a few thousand dollars in it including a new catalytic converter.

Excellent running/performing car. Lots of power and comfort. Very stylish, sporty, classy, smooth, affordable and classy. Much nicer than Acura, Infinity, Mercedes, Audi and Tesla.

This is the best and most reliable car I have purchased. It has ample room for passengers, equipment or both and even though it is an older car, it still has a lot of creature comforts that can keep up with newer cars. When I used to take it into the dealership for maintenance (timing belt, etc.), the service managers would tell me to never sell this car because it is overengineered for reliability and the drivetrain will last me well over 500K miles if it is taken care of. As of 2025 I am almost at a quarter million miles and still humming along.

We love the truck. It drives incredibly smooth, almost too smooth to feel capable off roads.... Yet it is. Gas mileage is poor as expected. Tech is a little behind the times however I'd buy it again in a second. It is so reliable and nice to drive.

I’ve owned over 30 cars. From Mercedes to Honda etc. the Lexus ls460 has by far been the best car I’ve ever owned this car has never ever let me down or left me stuck anywhere EVER owned it since 2011 has 200k on it now. She doesn’t burn a drop of oil or leak anything at all. I’m also extremely hard on the car change the oil on time and keep up on the very low maintenance it needs and you’ll never be disappointed I highly recommend the Lexus ls460 to anyone who wants premium luxury without the insane maintenance costs. Comfortable quiet car with exceptional fuel economy. Lexus reliability and quality. One of the few misses is the placement of the CarPlay connector is under a panel on the console, I would prefer it to be hidden under the armrest. Hoping the next generation offers a plug in hybrid. I prefer hybrids to full electric.

Service department is excellent! We purchased a vehicle from a Ford dealership in Bloomington. Upon driving off the lot, we felt brakes felt funny. We immediately turned around. The dealership said they could not look at it for two weeks. Problem was we were driving it out to CA to my son, active duty military. Dealership was aware. So, I called Forest Lake Ford, this was on a Friday. Explained the situation. Upon hearing my son was active duty, we were leaving the next day, they told us to bring it in. They fit us in! Even gave me a flower! THEY took the time, THEY cared! I now take my personal Ford Edge to them! Top notch!!

He showed us the vehicle, then gave us time to thoroughly look it over. He checked in, but was not pushy in any way. A vehicle My family once owned for a bit, back in Champaign, Illinois. It was used for about everything. Shopping, transporting, and going across the country to Florida, where we currently reside in. This is a magnificent car, it should have lasted for a long time to come, but of course, it didn't. It was involved with a criminal Grand Theft Auto, and my grandma from what I remembered, was pulled out and the perp crashed it. It was unfortunate, and I didn't understand what had happened until now. The car wasn't able to be repaired, and only slight repairs had been made. The car was unrepairable, but it still worked. We had sold this vehicle off to another person, I am guessing for other reasons that I am not sure of. I missed this beauty, memories fill me when I think of this family-perfect car. It's like having memories of going to the Grand Canyon and looking down at the scenery. Of course, though, I have never been to the Grand Canyon. I loved this car with my heart, and it stays with me as my childhood self loves it too. Anyways, on details about the car. The car was quite a trip, it performed nicely like it should when it comes to a family vehicle. The interior was leather and quite nice. The exterior was also quite nice, it looked very nice and lovely, quite a delight. Storage is magnificent, and it can store a large bundle of groceries. The backseat space was decent, not perfect though, But that might be because it had been adjusted. The driver seat feels nice and luxurious, with the addition of the steering wheel. Acceleration is decent, it's a luxurious family SUV, not a muscle. I can't remember a lot of things since I was a child when the car wasn't crashed. The A/C was nice, comfortability was also quite nice. If you wanted to have five people in this car, you totally can. Of course, all my reviews are as unbiased as possible. Onto some of the problems. Depending on where you live, and what the climate is, the glass will dislike you and tend to fog or get messy with the window. This could be a safety problem, but just use some chemical formula or product to have a protective screen over it. The seats can have wear and tear if not careful. Another problem is that the buckles or seat belts can be annoying, especially if the person is a big build, but that's a problem with a lot of cars, and that's gonna be common. I will say this with everything, nothing is perfect. Everything should and will have flaws. All we can try to do is to reduce the problems, this applies to just about everything we come across. I am not trying to urge people to buy this, it just doesn't feel right as I wanna get general points across, and it also makes me feel like I did something that isn't really my type of personality. I tried to look at cars at many other places and no other dealerships would even try to haggle, some said their policy is not to haggle. I'm buying a car so haggling is kind of part of it. North town auto sales was very reasonable with their price and when I saw the car the price came down even further because of minor wear to the vehicle like any dealership should.

Bought this 2017 Lexus RX 350 used. I always wanted one of these vehicles. I am not disappointed. Love how it drives and handles. Love the look. Plenty of room on the interior. My only complaint would be the front seat comfort. My Wife had a Acura MDX and it’s way more comfy. The seats in the MDX have more cushion and just all around more comfortable. One other thing is I wish it had the auto lock feature when you walk away with the key fob. Other than that it’s a sweet ride. Love the V6 and the transmission. Smooth shifting. Ride is soft. Cabin is very quiet. All in all I would rate it 9 out of 10 stars. I would buy it again!!

Love this SUV! It's futuristic exterior design caught my attention! Purchased brand new currently has 78,000. PROS: Extremely reliable and comfortable, quick, well-built, faux leather seats (much easier to take care of than leather), Sleek and sporty design, modern - NO wood interior! In 2015 Lexus accomplished what no other car maker ever did - All of their cars received the highest reliability rating! Had many cars and the NX is by far is the best! CONS: Touchy & frustrating mouse pad - jumps all over the place, display screen too small, requires premium gas, old and out of place analog clock.

I purchased the car new in 2013 and it was the best choice i could have made. I have had no problems, just new tires and and a battery. I did all of my service checks when needed and had no problems. I’m sorry that they no longer make this car.
