Maddie and John did an excellent job of making it an easy process. The car was clean and neat as a pin for me to drive home. The rate for the loan was excellent. Selection of quality vehicles that were priced fair was excellent. Dealership was great. I would have zero reservations in recommending Mazda of Dayton.

Mazda of Dayton review
I am very pleased with the extensive selection of Mazda vehicles and the attention to service and detail provided by associates of Mazda of Dayton. My purchase transaction and experience were thorough and satisfactory. However, there was an extensively hours long delay in completing all transactions due to a large number of buyers at the same time. Our representative was attentive, considerate and patient in completing my new Mazda purchase. I drove my new Mazda for 4 hours back home to Northern Indiana, and I enjoyed the great comfort, performance and advanced features of my new 2025 Mazda CX-5. My previous car was a 2016 Mazda CX-5, and I am now a very pleased, delighted and satisfied repeat Mazda owner. Mazda offers exceptional performance, quality and style. I would definitely do business again with Mazda Dayton.

The salesman was knowledgeable and efficient. The building is very nice. The location was convenient.
2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. I am a first time Mazda owner and having commited to older (proven) technology in a changing turbulant world ( ICE engine not Hybrid or EV) I can only hope that this purchase plays out well.........Fingers crossed and happy motoring Zoom Zoom!

Abel, Brent and forgive me if I forgot your name the gentleman in the finance department made the purchase a breeze. There was no rush and they didn’t try to sell my just anything. In the end they did an amazing job! Thank you guys, I had to give them a hug forget the hand shake.
2025 Mazda CX-5 review
Extremely pleased with the Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. Very comfortable on long drives. Everything in the cabin is convenient and easy to use. Averaged 29.5 mpg on our last trip. The interior is stylish as well as the exterior looking quite sporty.

We were lucky to work with Bryan Gainer as our Sales Consultant. He was great at fielding all our questions and made the buying process painless. From start to finish his client care was apparent as his first concern was always our satisfaction. We are more than pleased with our choice of the CX-50 and the treatment we received under Bryan’s supervision. Thanks to everyone at Jeff Schmitt Mazda!
2025 Mazda CX-5 review
Well I am really not sure this is legal but Mazda and many other manufacturers charge you monthly for an app that controls the vehicle. Remote start etc. I purchased this vehicle and I'm sure they already charged me in the purchase price for all the options it has. How can they charge me $10 a month for the rest of the years I own this vehicle just so I can remote start and see other information about the vehicle? It is like I sell you a kitchen and after a year if you want to open the doors you have to pay monthly for an app to do it. This is totally ridiculous and a scam. Say Mazda or any other car manufacturers sell 20,000,00 cars and all the people that bought them pay $10 a month to use the app they make an additional $200,000,000 for just use of the app. Well this is in my mind an absolute tragedy and should be illegal. Shame on them and all car manufacturers. I found an option to fix this. It still should not be this bad but anything to not pay these corrupt people any money. I found an aftermarket kit to fix this permanently for just over two years of monthly payments. It is called Startz, you can purchase on Amazon and install yourself. Good Luck

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought myself a Christmas gift, a new CX5 SignatureTurbo the day after Christmas and I absolutely love it! I don't' know why I didn't get one sooner. I have always been a Toyota, Lexus guy, but I must say this classy vehicle beats the others. Why, let's start with the interior. Mazda makes some of the most beautiful interiors! Exteriors too!! The fit and finish are superb! The CX 5 is extremely quiet and smooth riding, and I can honestly say it is quieter than any Lexus I have had in the past. There is also the fun factor! If you haven't tried a Mazda, you need to. They are a driver's car and fun to drive. The trim level I have has the Bose system and has a beautiful surround sound. Crank up the volume and it's awesome! The safety features are excellent, and everything is conveniently located. There is no need in paying for other Luxury cars when you can get a Mazda and save thousands, and they are the best keep secret out there. Luxury, fun, good looks for much less. I am definitely staying in the Mazda family.

I’ve never bought a car before and I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted, but when we got to the lot there were several great cars with low mileage at a great price. I was able to find a Ford Fusion that I loved and Alex was even able to have the windows tinted for me to make the car look even cooler than when I bought it. He worked hard to get me financed even though I had limited credit history. I really appreciate everything he did to make this first car buying experience such a great one!

They even fixed a small issue on the van prior to me purchasing. I was treated way better than several other dealerships I looked at. I would recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a car

On August 11th, I took my vehicle into the dealership to have the tire inspected because I saw a screw in it. Brett was my service manager and he was great to work with. He keep me informed, sent me a video and explained what was found with the tire which as it turned out the screw must have worked itself out of the tire. The service area was the calmest I've experienced. It was very calming. Thank you Brett! I appreciate you!

My experience at Jake Sweeney Mazda was excellent. My technician explained the work that was needed and why. The video he sent me was very helpful and showed me exactly where the work was done.
2025 Mazda CX-5 review
We were loyal Subaru owners previously but were forced to look at other car makers when the 2025 forester had problems and recalls. The 2025 Mazda cx-5 was the most similar car, with no recalls or issues. We were pleased with the price and ready availability, made the jump from Subaru and haven't looked back. We owned several Subaru's previously and never had any issues with them - our most recent was fifteen years old. As retirees, the new safety features like the backup screen and warnings for blind spots are terrific. I just hope the Mazda proves to be as problem-free. Also, the Mazda CX-5 was highly rated by our insurance co. and lowered the cost of our insuring our new car.
