2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
Bought the CX-90 in early Feb. 2024 and immediately drove across the country and back. No issues at all. After 4,000 miles, the actual performance was consistent with all of the video reviews. Very comfortable interior with high end feel.Apple Car Play worked seamlessly with GPS system Waze. Hands free controls was smooth and prompt. PHEV experience was solid. Love the charging prioritization feature while driving. Takes about 2 hours on the highway to reach a full charge so that at destination you can operate on EV mode. At home, Level 1 charge takes about 10 hours (overnight) Wish the 26 mile EV range was more like 50 but maybe in future models. Combined MPG with 98% highway driving on the road trip was 25.5 mpg. Overall, so far so good. Vey happy with the purchase.

Beyond excellent. For one month I have been trying to find a car for my granddaughter and it was a nightmare from dealerships and private people. We wanted a car with no CVT transmission, no accidents, one owner and most of all very affordable. This dealership was the only one that offered a 300 mile guarantee and not only sent a quote but also a video. Albert in the video pointed out every little scratch and the slightly worn drivers seat, which for a 2016 was in excellent condition . No wild goose chase. Purchased the car ,which was even lower than the price quoted which they texted to us prior to us driving all the way there. They detailed the car before we left the lot, although it was already nice and clean. My salesman Albert was fantastic. Followed my granddaughter back to her house and then drove two hours to where I live. That night the engine light came on and my granddaughter called and was crying. I called the dealership left messages and at 9:00 pm JUAN Raymundo called me back and apologized for the delay. What dealership would do that? Told him what happened and he volunteered to drive all the way to my granddaughter with a code reader to see what the issue could be. Told him we would wait till the morning. This morning, a Sunday, we called him as the check engine light was on. He sent a tow truck to pick up the car and bring it into service. They were able to fix the problem and did even more. Holler Classic motto is Buy Smart-Be Happy and we certainly are. I am so happy that we found a great Mazda Mazda 6 that had all the great safety features and of course all the perks a 19 year old wants. I'm old and have purchased many many cars and I am so impressed with this dealership and the kindness and attention that Juan gave us with this situation. Juan has alot of integrity and appreciated him going many more miles than he had to. I wish I could post a pic of my granddaughter with her beautiful happy smile. She works a full time job and goes to college at night full time so has a heavy load. Juan had the same experience and really related to this situation.
2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
I really do love my CX-90 PHEV but, as anyone will tell you as an early owner of a brand new model of anything, there are kinks to work out. I can get most of my driving done on battery without having to transition to the gas engine which is awesome. The amount of time it takes to charge is not awesome. I would schedule all of my charging to happen late at night when power is cheapest but the charger it comes with takes 11 hours to fully charge. I bought a level 2 charger which takes closer to 8 hours. An improvement but not what I was hoping for. The infotainment system randomly but consistently disconnects from my phone without explanation or warning. It reconnects quickly but it is very annoying. Finally, the engine will sometimes have hiccups when I'm driving on either engine. I will feel a weird surge of power which worries me a bit. Other than not being able to get the color I wanted (I was told "soul red" isn't popular on larger, "mom" cars) I am very happy with the car. It is stylish, fits my whole family very comfortably, and it was a wonderful upgrade from my 2020 CX-5 (which I also LOVED). I can't wait to see what the future holds with PHEV vehicles. What a wonderful bridge between gas and electric - makes it feel totally reliable!

2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
Bought this at Modern Mazda in Watertown ct from Steve Duffy…car is great,better than expected. Glad I waited for the new model, the console and feel of the car is better than Cx-9. I dont regret , haven’t been disappointed with a thing. Captains chairs, ventilated seats, HUD and console are why I bought this, plus the extra mileage from phev. I’d recommend researching the install of charger at home before purchasing, charging is where you get the real bang for buck. This car is a tremendous value!

Again! I have always had a great buying experience at Jenkins Mazda in Ocala Florida with Scott being my sales person. I mean face it, it's a psychological war as well. I say that cause this is the 7th new mazda vehicle I have purchased at Jenkins Mazda in Ocala. The thing is that I arm myself because I know there is going to be negotiations back and forth with other members of the Mazda team ( remember there is no I in team) but I must say the team at Jenkins Mazda is a well-oiled machine (Steven, Mr. Joe and the responsibilities of the finance staff) believe me I observe. Meaning each staff person doing their job well. I trust Scott and that's why I'm a repeat customer of his. I could buy my vehicles in Gainesville and save time and gas. However, I choose to come to a business where you are not just another number, and they know there is a very good chance that I will purchase a vehicle if negotiations goes well, it's a win win situation for all parties involved. Let's be real, they make money and I'm happy with the purchase of my vehicle (the last thing I know they do what to hear is I'll sleep on it) This is my review again, more detailed. We have owned 3 of the Mazda cx90 hybrids. Great comfortable and lots of room for the whole family. Looks great too. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable suv.
