The countryman is the perfect compromise for those who want a Mini and still want a workable amount of interior space. The gas mileage is insanely good, it's fun to drive, and you will be running laps past everyone at the stoplights because of how zippy it is. Parking is also never an issue, always lots of space, and easy to maneuver. My only two complaints are that maintenance tends to be expensive (when you factor in the gas savings though, I'd say it pays for itself) and the engine is weak. If you load even just a couple hundred pounds of passengers and cargo into it, it can drive for maybe an hour or so before the engine light kicks on and begs for mercy. I've never had this result in an actual issue that caused a breakdown or required us to pull over, and maintenance confirmed that there are no larger issues with my engine in particular. Turns out that it just limits its own engine power whenever it's struggling. But it is a bit annoying, especially on longer trips.

After 23 years of driving minivans and SUVs, I was ready for a change. I love my 2016 Mini Cooper S 4 door. with the 6 speed manual transmission. Car is great to drive, gets okay mileage (25+mpg) and is surprisingly practical.

I went there looking for a Jeep I saw on Cars.com and they got me a carfax report and test drive (a good long freeway and street drive) as soon as I arrived. They were extremely friendly and honest. They admitted that the Jeep had been in an accident but proved that it was only a fender bender. As a matter of fact, they guarantee not to sell cars with any type of frame or flood damage. They even replaced the battery for free because they noticed some corrosion on the connection when I was inspecting it. They let me look the car up and down, inside and out as much as I wanted. They HARDLY charge ANY fees! It's great. The taxes and fees together were only 10 percent of the list price. Best customer service I've ever had at a dealer! I took my 2019 Mini in for service and left with a BEAUTIFUL 2025 Emerald Green mini. I adore these cars! They are so wonderful on the highway, and in the city. She looks fast just sitting still. The new features have everything my heart has desired! Sirrus radio, GPS, ApplePlay, I can listen to my audio books! Best of all, there is a level piece that fits over the back, so there is no more dipping. When the seats are flat, it's so easy to load up all my stuff when I go on road trips. My Yorkie loves the smooth ride, and it's nice and quiet! She falls asleep!! My Sales guy, Christopher, was a gem - didn't push or insist on anything just left me to stew over which one I wanted. While I hated to say goodbye to Alyce (my 2019 Mini) I was so ready to say hello to Emerald - my new one. That green is just spectacular. Most of all - EVERYONE at Mini of North Scottsdale is amazing. Seriously!! They are all very helpful and friendly from the mechanic experts that have worked on my car, to the managers, the check in person, and the sales people (I've been many times and wasn't buying but they were still so friendly). I believe I've found my last car. I'm in love with Mini's and when you drive one, you'll see why! Thank you so much, Mini of North Scottsdale - for a wonderful purchasing experience!

This is my second Mini convertible, my previous one was a 2007... I also own a 2014 Mini Clubman. I just LOVE this car!! Super fun to drive and "dress up" with little customizations. I have the "S" model in an automatic now and, unfortunately, it's not as good on gas as my '07 manual was, but hey, it's a small price to pay for so much fun!

i figured this nimble convertible would be fun, and it is, but it is also reliable. 72k miles, virtually nothing but regular maintenance to date. I love driving it, as evidenced by my mileage. Radio, A/C and instruments are very good. my overall experience has been great. shortcomings: blind spot with top down. car chugs and lurches if you engage it withot counting to 10 when starting. dealer says no fix available. upright windshield shows a lot of tiny stars.

Almost too fast! 10 days from start to delivery; Good customer service, nice people! Oh wait, that's a 15 word MINIMUM... now I feel silly trying to cram all the good details into such a short statement. (facepalm) The entire experience was painless and fast, as noted; when my credit union balked at working with them they found me a competitive rate with someone who WOULD. They got documents to me quickly, and the car... well, through no fault of his, Steven LeSueur missed that the transporter picked the car up (on memorial day??) so I only got 24 hours notice that it was showing up. I was so used to those things taking forever I was off-balance for a few hours, but hey, that's what I consider a high quality problem. Speaking of which, the shipping cost was very reasonable, especially considering I saved about 6K getting the car there instead of locally. They gave me a great deal on EXACTLY the car I would have purchased if new, and getting that 4K tax credit up front made my life simpler and the loan even smaller than I was prepared to deal with. What's funny is my daughter and many friends live in Phoenix, so they now have a bit of a Northern CA booster with the locals. Oh, and there was no trade-in, so don't take the low rating as a slam; I just had no experience with it here. :-D

It be of no secret that the Germans are behind the production of the MINI Brand. The fit and finish, drive, engineering and even smell are all very much in tune with the Brand's Ownership. The drive and sheer joy one feels from driving one of these products makes you feel like a kid again, playing with their favorite toy after a day of school. There are bigger and more expensive offerings to choose but none have the character or joy of ownership of a MINI.

CarMax is much smoother than any other car buying experience you will ever find. Their salesman Matthew Johnson is a great guy. He was very patient and helped me find the perfect car after I spent months researching. He really knew what he was doing and gave me a wonderful experience. I would recommend CarMax to anyone!

Bought a 2023 Mini Countryman ALL4 John Cooper Works Edition of the car, and received my order last summer. Simply put, the performance is AMAZING. Put it in Sport Mode (a minor inconvenience), and it becomes a force to be reckoned with, especially to those unaware of this car’s capabilities. It’s marketed as a Mini—SUV, and I think that’s a fair categorization. Still have plenty of room for passengers, groceries,!etc, without sacrificing much, if any, performance. My only complaints? Difficult/clumsy control mechanism to get into Sport Mode, no native Android support, and rear windows are awkwardly installed, and have been “properly aligned” with remainder of car, instead of giving the appearance of being aligned with front/rear windows. In summation, this car performs better than its competition (a 2L inline 4cylinder, lightly turbocharged/intercooled, AWD, pretty aesthetics, and lots of opportunities for upgrades, beyond 301HP, 331FT/LBS Torque, and you have a contender for “production car SLEEPER OF THE YEAR!”), like the other “hot hatches”. Everytime my wife or I drive it, we NOW take turns.(she was bitten by the Mini bug) driving it EVERYWHERE, from trips to work, to the grocery store, and vacation driving. You really have to drive a JCW in Sport Mode to appreciate what I’ve said. Anyhow, these are my impressions on this amazing little car. Worth every penny, not getting rid of or replacing it, anytime soon!

I love, love, love my new Cooper S convertible! She is paying for herself in compliments already. Literally everywhere I go, someone stops me and says "your car is so cute!" She is so fun to drive and it isn't even convertible weather yet lol. I ordered black on black and I couldn't be happier with the aesthetics and performance! I hope she and I have mini happy years together!!

Carlos was professional and knowledgeable, gave me all the correct information to make my decision easier to buy the 2022 Palisade. Everybody at Camelback Hyundai who I met while buying my vehicle were professional.

This car is quick and fun to drive on straight or curvy roads. Fun sleeper street racer, I raced a 2017 corvette 6 speed and we were evenly matched shift for shift ending in a tie, eats mustangs and camaros for lunch. I do not recommend this vehicle if you live in a area prone to potholes. Hit pot hole 2 years ago while living in Indiana and $2000 in damage to suspension, tires and wheels. That cost was parts and I installed them. My car has been tuned. But no mods
