2026 BMW M240 review
I shopped for this car for a very long time after researching online & test driving several at different dealerships. I had read great things about the B58 powertrain & as an enthusiast since my 1st BMW, a 2002tii manual to my last, a 2009 Z4 3.5i, wanted to try a newer generation. The car had a lot to live up to after owning 2 recent Porsche 991.2 911s and 2 Audi S5 as daily drivers. Only having this Vrgas Red M240i Xdrive less than a week, I'm not fully sold on the build as a great choice. My initial biggest disappointment & gripe is the $800s on my build for Carbon Fiber trim. I had passed on several other choices in build because I loved the CF in my S5s & was willing to wait for the option in my choice. Well, to my unpleasant surprise, driving the car in bright sun, the trim was nothing but CF look tape or decal. I was willing to pass on leather seats at $1,500 for an option that was nothing more than a deceptive, cheap-out wrap or laminated plastic. CF is a material. This was nothing but a simulated look. The rest of the interior follows suit. Not premium like my S5s or 911s were. At this price point, I can understand the downgrade. Fake trim at $800 In can't. On the positive side, the performance is what I expected. Wonderful power & decent handling for a very overweight sports coupe. Minimal turbo lag. The looks have grown on me. I ordered a more aesthetic trunk spoiler & plan to put on quad exhaust tips for some added flair. No other mods planned in ther near future. I give the overall experience a 9. I've had to tune an S5 manual supercharged coupe to get this power.

2026 BMW M440 review
Over the years I've heard a great deal of the outstanding driving experience and fabulious features of the BMW cars. Now that I have purchased a 2026 M440X I understand their praise. The slogan " The Ultimate Driving Experience" is not just an advertising gimmick. I'm still learning the many, many cool features of my car even after the excellent tutorial by the Dealership and reading the manual. In short, I'm sold on Germain Engineered cars and am now part of the BMW family. Too bad US car manufacturers don't make this quality of car. My opinion, is that it the cost would be outside the reach of most Americans.

Little over 800 miles and already getting over 40MPG city. Highway is in low 30's. Seats could stand to be just a bit wider. Really miss not having Sirius Radio but finding ways around it. NO Spare tire.

The delivery process was even better. Frank and I spent about 30 minutes setting up my vehicle, and he explained everything in detail. This was by far the best sales experience out of any car purchases that I've had. Frank spent the time to work with me as I had many questions. He was so friendly, and truly wanted to help with any of my questions. He has been super helpful after taking my new iX home. He checks in and makes sure I do not have any questions, and asks if there are any issues. He truly goes above and beyond in making sure the customer has all their concerns and questions answered. The financing experience with Dorela was great as well. She explained everything in detail, and was super friendly and nice. It was like working with a friend. I will definitely work with Frank and Dorela again. They were wonderful and friendly to work with.

Since I was looking at used Toyota Tacoma trucks, I realized that the used Toyota truck market to be more speedy than I first thought. In fact my wife sort of got sticker shock. All said, I'm feeling quite overwhelmed by the number of used Tacoma's out there. I wonder where the new unsold 2024's are. At this writing, I'm also open to the extra cab 4x4 Rangers. I found a used car online thru cars.com and visited the Carter Subaru site, hoping to purchase the vehicle, which I did. The salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable, the finance department worked their magic and found financing that fit within my terms, the vehicle was cleaned and looked like new and when I mentioned that I had e-mailed the dealership thru cars.com with no response within 24 hours, both the salesperson and the finance officer jumped on it and contacted the marketing dept to make sure they were aware. I am more than satisfied with my vehicle purchase and would definitely go to this dealership if and when I am ready to make another vehicle purchase.
2026 Subaru Outback review
This is my third Subaru but my first Outback. I loved my Legacy and my Forester but this vehicle is overall better in most ways. The ride and comfort is outstanding and the performance is adequate for my needs. The Infotainment system and climate controls are perfect. The built-in navigation needs lots of changes and I wouldn't recommend it right now as it tells me to turn left when you need to turn right. It even sometimes shows the opposite direction on the map. The speed limits shown is often wrong as well like the maps are out of date. Wireless Android Auto doesn't work well either and often blanks out. I hope that these items will be fixed via updates. This vehicle is a pleasure to drive.
