My wife and I were driving our oldest to college for her freshman year from Maryland to Berrien Springs when we realized our 2012 Honda Odyssey's brakes were shot. We were only planning to be in Michigan for about 36 hours and knew we wouldn't make it home without doing something about the brakes. On a whim, I checked the internet for a dealership on the way and found Cambell. I knew we would be pushing it because they closed at 6 and we wouldn't arrive till a little after 5. We pulled into the dealership and Scott met us with a warm Michigan welcome. We told him we were interested in looking at Explorers and he showed us a large selection of really great inventory. Looking at the time I asked him if we could make a deal before they closed. He said absolutely. The team pulled together a great deal, trade and the financing in short order. We transferred all my daughters college bound belongings and we were on our way. Buying cars is not something I enjoy but our experience at Campell turned out to be one. 2025 Jeep Gladiator review
My THIRD Jeep Gladiator. Listen, if you want a light duty truck, look at "light duty" trucks to compare... The Gladiator is the ONLY one that even at base model COMES 4x4, COMES with solid front/rear axles... Comparing the equal classes, it has the best in class towing and payload; bang for the buck, your money is better spent on the Gladiator. If you want amenities, you can of course get them fully tricked out with every feature you could want. All I will say is yes, it rides like a "truck", but my interest is truck first, everything else second. If you want luxurious ride and the feel of sweet comfort, buy one of the others, their truck abilities are SECOND, the Gladiator is a TRUCK first. I have hauled everything with mine; trailers pulling vehicles, lumber, hay... Light duty truck, Gladiator.

2026 Chevrolet Equinox review
The Equinox is a nice SUV, that can be fully loaded and still not break the bank. My Equinox has full power, A/C & heated seats, sunroof with a fully, customizable, large display panel. The rear seats are also heated and comfortable to ride in with plenty of room. The heated steering wheel wraps up the luxury. The engine is a little anemic with a 1.5l turbo and FWD with the CVT transmission. With one person, it is okay, but as you add people, the engine bogs down. However, the mpg whether loaded or not are fantastic with my average of 26mpg consistently. The ride is very comfortable and it competes with many luxury brands for comfort and ride. The design and sleek front end make it a very attractive drive. I would say that if you are looking for a fully appointed vehicle in the crossover size SUVs that won’t break the bank, check out the Equinox. Whether a daily driver, a small family or traveling, this platform provides high comfort and good quality that competes in this marketplace.

2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought the AT 4 version. Loaded. Has good ground clearance. It's powered with a 3.0 l turbocharged diesel. Has lots of horsepower and torque. I've had no problem but I talked to my friend who's a certified mechanic and they're having a lot of problems with the engine blowing up at very low mileage. A lot of the time less than 15,000. Some of them have problems with the thrust bearings failing causing increased crankshaft play back and forth to the point where the timing chain and the rubber belt that runs the oil pump can fail. The engine has been described as grenading. They're basically self-destructs. There's a specific power code that indicates low oil pressure and allowed rattle sound before it finally fails. I heard that the engines were on back order, so if you're one of the unfortunates you can plan on waiting 10 or 12 weeks or longer to get your truck back. They have to remove the cab completely to swap motors. But overall I love the truck. It's a big improvement over the 2022 I just traded in.
