Gettel Nissan review
I purchased a used 2023 Tucson from Gettel Nissan. Salesman Valentino Naeder made the purchase easy. The only drawback was the time spent (4hrs) at the dealership to actually drive home. Received a temporary registration plate good for 30 days and was informed that a permanent plate was in the mail. Near the 30 day mark I contacted salesman Pete who quickly had a permanent plate sent within 2 days. Thank You
2026 Nissan Frontier review
We are very happy with the Nissan Frontier PRO 4X. The simple and clean design of the exterior and interior was appealing. The reliability of the tried and true powertrain provides confidence for long term ownership. While there may be a few technology options lacking compared to it’s competitors, the lower out the door cost is a huge bonus.

Decided to test drive a Kona SE 2 days ago on a whim. I had researched trade in value for my low mileage Honda as well as rebates offered so I was prepared. Got quotes from 2 other dealerships within 60 miles and Gettel matched the lowest. Very easy transaction, friendly attentive service by Sam, Walter and finance manager Glen. The dealership was very busy but I was never neglected and constantly informed of the status of the sale. And because I had just topped off my Honda gas tank, they told me to return when the Kona is on empty and they would fill it up! Thanks again Sam,Walter and Glen! I will definitely recommend you!

Cody was so amazing to work with he was extremely kind and knowledgeable, I ended up driving up to Tampa from Miami to lease a Volvo because of the service I received from both Cody and Bud. This is a family owned dealer that truly cared about their customers. I will be recommending Crown Volvo to everyone I know and returning once my lease is up for renewal!

2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
This is my 2nd new 2026 Tacoma Hybrid LIMITED. Why the limited? Full time 4WD with ability to bypass center differential and go full time 4WD high and low, like the non-limited versions. I found that the torque was too high in anything but the full time 4WD limited hybrid, and the rear wheels would slip. If not full time 4WD, can't put into 4WD proactively seeing a dangerous situation ahead and making a turn until you are in the bad stuff, which is normally too late. In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

We were treated very well friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We got as close as 500.00 a part at one point and then we were 1000.00 apart at the end of negotiations. I thought we offered a fair deal on a new 2019. We ended up buying a Kia Optima instead of a Sonata pretty much the same car just got a better deal.

Cox Chevrolet review
I had an outstanding experience at Cox Chevrolet, thanks to the incredible customer service from Captain Jim. Every time I had a question, he was friendly, patient, and more than willing to help. His responses were fast and always on point, and he made sure I had everything I needed before I even had to ask. Captain Jim truly went above and beyond, prepared, attentive, and ready for anything. It’s rare to find someone who combines genuine friendliness with such prompt, professional service. Cox Chevrolet is lucky to have him, and I’ll definitely be recommending this dealership to others because of the exceptional care he provided. Highly satisfied and grateful for the great experience!

AutoNation Toyota Pinellas Park review
Friendly staff as well as knowledgeable staff that treat their customers like family. They are on top of my Toyota care plan and set my appointments for service on time
2026 Toyota Tundra review
The 2026 Toyota Tundra is a solid contender in the full-size truck market, offering a mix of modern features and reliable performance. It comes equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine, available in both standard and hybrid configurations. The hybrid version delivers an impressive 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque, making it a strong choice for towing and hauling. However, its maximum towing capacity of 12,000 pounds falls short compared to competitors like the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado. The Tundra's ride quality benefits from a coil-spring rear suspension, providing a smoother experience than traditional leaf springs. Inside, the cabin is spacious and functional, with an optional 14-inch touchscreen that stands out for its crisp graphics and user-friendly interface. While the interior design is practical, it lacks the luxury feel of some rivals, and certain materials feel less premium. Fuel economy is a mixed bag, with the hybrid achieving up to 20 mpg combined, which is competitive but not groundbreaking. Safety features are robust, including Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, which offers adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and more. On the downside, the Tundra has faced reliability concerns, particularly with its twin-turbo V6 engine in earlier models. While Toyota has addressed these issues, some buyers may remain cautious. Additionally, the truck's real-world fuel economy and towing capabilities leave room for improvement. The Tundra starts at around $42,000 and can range as high as $80,000. Overall, the 2026 Toyota Tundra is a capable and comfortable truck that excels in daily usability and tech features but lags behind in towing and luxury compared to its peers. It’s a great option for those prioritizing reliability and practicality over outright performance.

Audi Sarasota review
This was my sixth Audi purchase, but my first with Audi Sarasota—and easily the most personable experience I’ve had. They graciously accommodated my last-minute request to see a new car, and Mark made a sincere effort to get to know me and understand what I needed—without the usual sales pressure. The icing on the cake was driving away in the Audi of my dreams. Even Paul, the owner, stopped to introduce himself before heading home and make sure I was well taken care of. Luis made the financing process quick, efficient, and refreshingly free of arm-twisting. Audi Sarasota will be my first—and most likely last—stop for my next Audi. Thank you to Mark, Paul, Luis, and Grant for such a wonderful experience!

Bought a car Sunday. Had Excellent service, and was a great buying experience. Summer was extremely knowledgeable about the features of the Nissan I purchased. Went out of her way to help me set up phone and music connections which was a Bonus 😁 She also went out of her pervue to provide me with photos of me and the car and added balloons 🤩 Tyler was extremely thorough with all the paperwork and warranty options which was greatly appreciated. Thank you. 👍👏👍
2026 Nissan Altima review
Very nice ride, quiet interior, big and easy display on dash, seats are comfortable, decent size trunk, awd will be a plus in winter. I have SR trim with the premium package so it is loaded with all the goodies. Only downside wish it had a little more zip like 30 more hp. But gas mileage is good around 33 hwy, 26 city on regular gas.

Honda of Sarasota review
My wife and I came to Honda of Sarasota to check out a new Honda Pilot SUV. We were helped by Paul DeMiere shortly after we arrived. Paul brought out the Pilot Elite for us and proceeded to explain everything about this model. He described how the doors, seating and storage worked and could be arranged. He then went through a lengthy explanation on all the controls and infotainment system. Very impressive and helpful! Everyone we met or spoke to was very friendly and helpful.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
I purchased my 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe limited hybrid in May of 2026. I traded in my Volkswagen Atlas cross sport. The Volkswagen I was getting about 16 miles per gallon the Hyundai getting about 34. The interior space is comparable. The technology is much better on the Santa Fe there's a lot of bells and whistles. The interior is very comfortable I take it on long trips and I find it very comfortable for me and my family.

2026 Ford Bronco review
My wife and I bought a new 2026 Outer Banks with the 2.7L V6 and the Lux Package. With about 2,000 miles on the odometer it has been a great purchase. It is missing a few options that an almost 60k truck should have (memory seats, etc.) and has way too many “nannies”. With that said, it has plenty of power when in Sport mode, the ride is comfortable and it gets decent gas mileage. It is loud at highway speeds but most of the noise is coming from the tires. Can’t wait to swap them for some BFG’s. Compared to the 2021 Jeep Wrangler JLU we had, the Bronco is much more refined. A tip for new buyers, attend one of the Bronco Off-Roadeo events that Ford offers. We just returned from the one in Tennessee and it was excellent. They really show you what the truck is capable of.

Gettel Kia of Bradenton review
I must be amazing. The company canceled my warranty. Because the vehicle sits in my car port for six months I didn’t follow their schedule but adapted to the use that I had. 7000 miles in 3 years. So I changed the oil at my use of car. 2 oil changes so far. Get real. I m taking good care of vehicle. And then you cancel my warranty. So I had purchased a warranty after the original 10 year was over and because I had a extra life warranty for 10 more years @ 2000$ my broken Radio was replaced at no extra charge (about $1646.09) was the repair cost. I change my own oil. I am a retired auto business owner. Luckily I bought the extension warranty. “I must be amazing!”

Sarasota Subaru review
On a late Friday afternoon shortly before closing we pulled into this Subaru dealership with a potential dead battery. Now I realize this is not a major problem but experiencing this after hurricane issues and brain surgery, it was a big deal. Their policy is to put the vehicle thru a 2 hr test before putting a new battery in. With no loaners in sight at first and a husband not in good health we couldn’t be without a vehicle. This is when “Danny” De Angelis came to our rescue. The way he treated us at almost closing time, the care, the concern he showed us was deeply appreciated. Subaru can take pride in this gentleman who knows how to treat customers and those of us who are stressed to the max. In no way, did he “rush” us thru. Danny was courteous to my husband and myself, from beginning to end. You are an asset to this company. Thank you Danny ….we need more people like you.
2026 Subaru Outback review
I have the 2026 Subaru Outback Premium. The car drives great (super smooth/quiet) and the new interior/driver controls are fantastic. Both the climate control and the entertainment system are vast improvement over the 2025 Outback. The sound system is really good for being the Premium model. I got 28 mpg on the first tank of gas and am getting 29 mpg on the second tank of gas. Mostly city driving. I paid right at $33k, which is fantastic value for this great of a car.

Sport Subaru South review
Brought my 6000+ mile Cross Trek in for an oil change and to check a tire for a slow leak. I brought the car in at 1000 miles and they couldn?t find the problem. I even got several emails from Subaru about the low pressure so the issue was documented. Once again they said they couldn?t find any problem. I explained that I am adding air to the tire every three days. I gave the service provider the choice of trying again or putting on a new tire at their expense and they somehow found the leak. She was a very nice person, I just couldn?t believe she/they expected me to leave with a well documented slow leak unresolved.
2026 Subaru Solterra review
First EV. LOTS to learn. Lots and lots of settings & configuration stuff. Most defaults OK. Not sure if bought a car that has a Tablet or a very expensive Tablet that has wheels. Couple of things that stuck out: NO Glove Box. (bad) / No Spare Tire (bad). / No Jack + No Lug Wrench (really Bad) for OFF Road AWD capable? That's irresponsible ! And when buying a separate Solterra 'Jack Kit' from dealer, the Lug Wrench won't fit the Lug nuts. Need 21mm wrench. Kit came for 19mm wheel nuts. That's totally irresponsible !! Plus there are special almost hidden lift points under each side designated as lift points. Any other spots will Damage something! Road service? Where? in Boonies with GPS coordinates? (not gonna happen!) And even though has NACS Tesla type charger nozzle, absolutely can NOT charge at Tesla fast chargers. (Tesla charger cables too short + Subaru software won't connect.) So have to use charger that came with Solterra and endure Level 1 charge times, or install Level 2 charger at home, or go to Level 2 or DC chargers in your area. Actually, there's several in our area so not so bad, BUT about a road trip; that's something else. (it's a challenge). Remember: NO TESLA chargers! period! Range at 90% charge made under 200 miles round trip. Normal charge is 80% max. So will have to try that next time. Still significant uncertainty. For 2026, this is supposed to be an improvement from prior years. Now about the vehicle itself; pretty good. In fact: it's made by Toyota as a joint venture in Japan. So confidence level is pretty good that as far as an EV is concerned, they know what they're doing. Very quiet and pretty smooth ride. Has 3 power options and all three this thing can Launch and go fast. And since it's AWD, amazing traction on dirt and gravel. 30 degree up hill on gravel, stop, and go = no wheel spin. Same when descending and no spin when backing up. Most excellent! I find the telescoping steering wheel short. Needs additional pull out capability. Tilt OK. Driving with Boots is a problem. Driver leg room between pedal and brake too close and offset to the right, Makes driver foot positions cramped and a bit awkward. Pretty tight for 240 pound, 5'-10" man. Plenty of head room as this Premier model doesn't have Sun roof. (NOT good in Arizona). Climate control works good for both driver and passenger. This came with power driver's seat and manual passenger. (OK for us) Yet even with power driver's seat, have a bit difficulty getting in and out as have to duck head considerably and once in vehicle, seems to sit pretty low. This model does NOT remember driver 1 & driver 2 positions. Also, does not have tilting rear view mirror. (Again bad - bad - bad) . Have to grab whole mirror and push up or down to accommodate the driver. Glad the vehicle was furnished with Owners Manual. There's 3. Lots & Lots to read. Dealer was nice, polite and tries to help, but sales folks don't know as they don't own one. Your 80% on your own to learn and figure stuff and buttons and symbols on EV screen on your own. Would I buy again ? Not sure. Not bummed with purchase, just still very unsure about things even after 1 month ownership. Just feel uncertain driving with all that goes on and displays. Some helpful / some distracting. In fact most of the time have screen display turned OFF so can pay attention to road and vehicle responses. Ask me again a year from now.
