I had initially worked out a deal with Sutherlin Nissan, but unfortunately, they proved to be dishonest, trying to change the terms at the last minute after everything had already been agreed upon. Frustrated, I reached out to Universal Nissan and shared the details of what happened at Sutherlin, along with the deal we had negotiated. Right away, Prosper was eager to match the deal and earn our business. I sent him a photo of the original offer, and he went into action. It was effortless—just a few phone calls and texts, and they matched the deal without any hassle in about 30 minutes. This truly was the smoothest and best car-buying experience we've ever had. 2023 Nissan ARIYA review
I will be really critical of "Youtube reviewers", which often focus on what a car feels within a a day, week, or month and don't project their analysis beyond that. For instance recommending a Hyundai with several critical ongoing recalls over a Toyota with a clean slate. $5k difference means nothing if the vehicle is not working and the manufacturer is shady about it. Nissan is guilty of CVTs and now Turbo issues, but the Leaf is none of that, and not the Ariya. Time has proven that the Ariya is a more reliable vehicle than the Ioniq 5 (search for ICCU) and ID.4( choose your poison). Do not get me started on Teslas, which somehow get a free pass on reliability. The car was too expensive new, yet why would anyone buy a new EV? You lease it. In the US, leasing was the only way to obtain government subsidies anyway for Japanese made cars. Now as a used EV, is quite affordable, the charging is on par with most new Japanese EVs (Soltera, CH-R, BZ) as 20%-80% in "nearly 30mins" does not look bad anymore if it comes from Toyota. I bought a 2023 Engage+ E-4orce on April 2025 and have no complaints. I bought it for $21K with under 5k miles, instead of a used Corolla. Try the Ariya before you shop for a new ICE compact sedan, and definitively before buying any used or new EVs.

2023 Nissan ARIYA review
Nissan Ariya is an excellent car. The interior is luxurious and the design is striking. This car is faster than any gas guzzler. There should be more of these on the road. I charge mostly at home and have had no issues with fast charging stations in California.

Great car!! Range is on the low side with the e-for e version but I’ve adjusted to charging between home and its ideal charging at the Tesla superchargers when you have the adapter, so far it’s a colony ride for long trips especially with the usb connections in the rear along with the air vents and so far no trouble with reliability, got all my recalls done and the service has been impeccable i recommend this car wholeheartedly

2023 Nissan ARIYA review
I watched a ton of reviews and so many are critical of small things that in reality didn't matter. The charging speed is more than adequate for daily driving. The range is great! It has a ton of features and feels very refined compared to any other EV I have driven. Nissan really needs to do better marketing this car so more people can experience it!
